Came for lunch. Ordered BLT special, fries & drink. Total cost $18. Sandwich has 3 slices of turkey, MICROWAVE BACON. Save your $$! Portion, quality & Price are not on par. I support small business but this was wasted money. Breakfast is decent.

You don't go there for the service, you go there because they have the absolute best bagels. Also, once you see the staff for many years as I have, working endless hours to endless lines, you understand the "know what you want" expectation because they have constant rushes. When they are closed for a holiday, etc. there is no place to turn. Bagel Train Owner and Staff, you are the best. THE BEST. If you give this place anything less than 5 Stars, go get yogurt.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Bagel Train in Yardley…read more Our elementary school was trying to organize a large breakfast order for a special 5th grade celebration taking place in a few weeks. On Friday, May 29, 2026, at approximately 10:00 a.m., I called to inquire about placing a large future order and to determine whether the restaurant could accommodate our needs. The gentleman who initially answered the phone was professional, patient, and very helpful. Unfortunately, the interaction quickly deteriorated due to the behavior of a woman in the background. While I was simply asking questions about the order, she could be heard repeatedly yelling "No" and something along the lines that our students would not be able to select the breakfast items they wanted. At that point, I asked whether there was an issue, as I continued to hear the woman in the background saying "NO." She then got on the phone, and when I asked if there was a problem, she responded in an extremely hostile manner that they could not accommodate an order of this size on a Monday morning. I thanked her for her time, said goodbye, and ended the call. However, after reflecting on the interaction, I called back seeking clarification regarding her rudeness, but an employee answered the call. When I asked for the name of the woman I had just spoken with, I could hear her instruct the employee to "hang up." The employee then stated that he could not provide her name. I then requested to speak with a manager or the owner. The same woman eventually came on the line and claimed to be the manager. When I politely asked for her name and requested to speak with the owner, she refused and responded, "For what? For you to bad mouth me?" She continued to refuse to allow me to speak with the owner despite multiple requests. At no point was I rude, demanding, or unreasonable. I was simply trying to arrange a breakfast for local 5th graders celebrating an important milestone. The manager's behavior was unprofessional, hostile, and disrespectful throughout the interaction. Being spoken to in that manner, hearing instructions to hang up on a customer, being denied access to the owner, and receiving such poor customer service while attempting to place a significant order was shocking. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this establishment. It is unfortunate because the employee who initially assisted me was courteous and helpful, but the manager's conduct completely overshadowed the interaction. Businesses that serve the community should treat potential customers with respect, especially when they are trying to support a local business for a school event. The refusal to provide her name or allow a concerned customer to speak with the owner only added to the frustration and left me with the impression that customer concerns are neither welcomed nor taken seriously.

Gender Reveal Ruined-- Followed By The Worst Customer Service I've Ever Experienced…read more I have never written a negative review in my life, but this experience was so upsetting and handled so poorly that I feel obligated to share it. I ordered a gender reveal cake and was extremely clear from the very beginning that this was for a gender reveal and that I needed blue on the inside and white on the outside. When I placed the order, I gave very specific directions: white on the outside, blue on the inside. I even provided a photo of exactly what I wanted. Later that same day, I called back to confirm again: white on the outside, blue on the inside. Then when I picked the cake up, I had a third confirmation point. They read the instructions back to me and again confirmed it was supposed to be white on the outside and blue on the inside. I even verbally confirmed one more time before leaving the store. So there were three separate touch points of communication confirming the exact same thing. This cake was for my first baby's gender reveal. This was a once-in-a-lifetime moment for my husband and our family. I spent time planning this, buying flowers, an outfit, and setting up something incredibly special for us. When we cut the cake during the reveal -- while filming -- the inside was completely white. No blue. Nothing. The entire moment was ruined. My husband found out we were having a boy in the most anticlimactic, confusing way possible. It was heartbreaking and honestly humiliating to have planned something so meaningful only for it to completely fall apart because of a mistake that was confirmed THREE separate times. What made this exponentially worse was the customer service afterward. When I called the next morning, I was met with rudeness and condescension. Later, when someone finally called me back, I was literally asked if I was "sure" there wasn't blue inside -- as if I didn't just cut into and dig through my own cake. I had to prove their mistake by sending photos. During that same call, I explained how rude the first person I spoke to had been. The response I got was essentially, "Yeah... she really shouldn't be answering the phone" and that she's not very good at customer service. That honestly left me speechless. If someone is not good at customer service, why are they the person answering customer calls? Especially when those calls are about major life events and serious issues? It was one of the strangest, most unprofessional interactions I have ever had with a business in my life. At no point initially did anyone apologize. I had to be visibly upset and crying before anyone even attempted to say sorry. Even the owner never called me directly -- he texted asking me to call him about a refund. When I did call, there was still no real apology, just discussion about money. Let me be very clear: This was never about the $50. This was about ruining one of the most meaningful milestones of my life and then treating me like I was an inconvenience when I called about it. People make mistakes. I understand that. But how you handle the mistake is what defines your business -- and this was handled terribly from start to finish. I have never been treated so badly by so many people from one business, especially over something tied to a major life event. I will never use this bakery again, and I will absolutely be sharing this experience with others so they can make an informed decision. If you are trusting them with an important life event, I strongly suggest reconsidering.

Also loved the smash burger -- delicious and no pretentious frills -- but the fries were the standout; homemade, hearty and crispy. The pumpkin and pretzel casarecce pasta was very tasty as well, and the small-sized portion was plenty. Clearly the chef is talented and takes their work seriously. Given that they don't sell liquor & you can bring your own, the prices are fantastic. Cheapest dinner I've had since the early 2000s lol. They do have some N/A wines, beers and cocktails for those who don't care about booze. I could see this place being perfect for breakfast or lunch because it has beautiful views of the river. We came for dinner, and within 20-30 minutes, it was pitch black outside so we didn't get to enjoy the view. The lighting in the restaurant for dinner is too bright, which takes away from the atmosphere and makes it seem more like a takeout restaurant than upscale dining. Our server was great but the food took way too long to come out. It was about 30 minutes to get a salad. Not sure if they were short-staffed or that's just how it is but because the food was good enough, we will definitely come back to find out!
