Food is fine and service is adequate. But pricing for certain things is ridiculous. I mean they charge you 25 cents per bagel just to toast it ... as if it truthfully costs them anything but waiting 1 minute for the toasting to happen!! ... honestly they should be ashamed of doing this. I get that some businesses are cash only - still think that in this day and age that is ridiculous when you know you're getting business. Or you could have a minimum for using card, but to be completely cashless now is dumb.

Know before you come: CASH ONLY Bagel Twist & Deli has the look, feel, and energy of a dependable neighborhood joint. For breakfast and quick sandwich meals, this unassuming restaurant has become my go-to spot. Inside, the space is fairly large, with an L-shaped counter that receives orders, displays deli offerings, and daily bagel and roll availability. There's also a small counter space in the corner of the restaurant for those dining in. On most mornings, I've placed orders for basic breakfast sandwiches, and I've been generally happy with them. But don't stop with breakfasts. Most recently, I took a chance on their fun sandwich menu, many of which sport fun names like 'The Vegas' and 'The Batman'. I ordered the latter, and found it to be a hearty sandwich. The grilled chicken breast was warmed, the vegetables fresh, and I enjoyed that they offer macaroni salads as one of the side options. While I wouldn't say these are the best bagels in the land, or the most innovative sandwiches I've ever had, I'm hardly disappointed with my meals here. Service is fast and all orders are prepared fresh. Business has been brisk every time I've stopped in, with both in-person and phone orders quickly queuing up . I see this as another sign that there's a larger crowd that trusts this restaurant with their morning and brunch orders.

Toasted bagel with Scallion cream cheese

Solid 8.3/10. I'm use to eating a more expensive breakfast and I decided to lower my expectations today. I was on my way to work and I was feeling a nice warm toasted bagel. And as simple as it is, I ordered a scallion cream cheese toasted bagel. The bagel had an excellent crunch and soft ratio. Cream cheese felt light and not overwhelming. This place is very spacious and clean. Service was nice and would love to come again. Only problem, is that they don't take credit card or Apple Pay, only cash.

The egg was burnt I had to throw it because the whole sausage and cheese had that burnt taste. I paid $10 for this a drink. Very disappointing.

This place was my go to bagel shop, until today. I went to purchase a croissant with avocado. To start the croissant was smaller then my hand (croissant compared to my 4 small fingers in photo), the avocado was basically brown already. As soon as I got home to eat it, I took a bite and the inside was completely rubbery & raw. I even tried to toast it to see if the croissant would cook a little more. The texture was like a rubbery fake dough. Absolutely disgusting, I've been coming here for years, I've never had an issue like this. I called and told the young girl and she said that's impossible. Sad that this establishment lost their spark. The photos say it all...

I truly enjoyed my breakfast bagel with bacon and eggs. I was visiting NJ from Cali and this did not disappoint...super quick, yummy and fulfilling!

    Chai coffee

Picked up breakfast from here and was surprised that they didn't have many of the bagels we wanted, not even a plain bagel. Seems like this place is quite popular so get there early. I ordered the chai coffee and a croissant with cream cheese. The coffee was really good and had just the right amount of ice. The croissant was tasty, only negative was the size. It's not the size of a regular croissant. Consider this almost a mini. If you want a full breakfast order two. Nonetheless, good breakfast spot. I will be back! Note: 1 star removed for lack of options when we arrived re: bagels and size of croissant. Yelp should allow removal of a half a star. If that were the case this would get a 4 1/2 star review.

The nicest staff, very smartly run, with great quality deli and the BEST bagels I have had since H&H was big in NYC!

There's no need to worry about street parking because they have a small parking lot up front. I stopped by on a late Sunday afternoon, craving a breakfast sandwich. Yes, I eat breakfast after 2pm... shoot me! The ambiance is a little more "elevated" than your usual deli. It's bright, clean, and modern with a good amount of seating. They also have wifi. I can see this also being a study/work spot during off-peak hours. They have a large variety of both breakfast and lunch options - bagels, pancakes, waffles, omelettes, burgers, salads, and savory sandwiches. Additionally, they also have tea, coffee, smoothies, and juices. What makes them stand out are their artisanal bagel flavors and gourmet cream cheese spreads. They have a lot of unique flavors, both sweet and savory. I ordered: *2 Eggs, Cheese and Meat Breakfast Sandwich ~$7 - I got mine with taylor ham and salt/pepper/ketchup on a toasted everything bagel. This was a satisfying and hearty meal! The bagel crust was crispy, while the interior was dense, fluffy, and chewy. The taylor ham was smoky and salty, which paired well with the creamy cheese and eggs. *Iced Coffee with milk & sugar ~$4 - The coffee was just okay. It was on the weaker side. A little too much milk. The service was friendly, welcoming, and quick. The employee let me sample a few of their cream cheeses. I also got to meet the chef, Miguel, who told me more about the business! I'll definitely be returning to try their artisanal bagels... I have my eyes on the french toast and parmesan ones!

We ordered a classic sausage, egg, and cheese on a roll and this time, I also wanted to investigate their bagel game. I ordered an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and it took just a few bites to remind this newly transplanted Southerner that bagels in the Northeast are in a league of their own. Food comes out fast. We both watched admiringly from our tables as the short order cooks moved like tornados at the grill, furiously beating bowl after bowl of eggs to fulfill the counter endless string of orders. That's another thing. During the whole half hour we dined at a table, things never quieted. As soon as a table cleared, someone else would grab it right away. Over the years, I've found that when in doubt, it's best to follow the crowds. On most Saturday mornings, it seems this is the place where all the crowds in Ridgefield Park are congregating. This breakfast spot is as local as it gets. As a lover of small business, I can't tell you secretly happy I get to see lines at the door here while the Dunkin Donuts across the street languishes.
