In fact, although I was introduced to chopped liver here, it has a sweet taste that I've found off-putting, so I haven't ordered it a second time. But the bagels are good and the place is always full, so I'm confident that the quality of the food is excellent, even if it's not what I'm accustomed to. I used to write restaurant reviews for a living, so this is not in the top 5 or even 10 worst things I've witnessed. To start, we ordered basic bagels and cream cheese. The bagels were pretty good, scallion cream cheese awesome. My kids got some bakery treats and were good. The coffee wasn't great. And by the way - cash or check only! Wrapping up our meal, I saw the cook suspiciously grab some customer food ready for the waitress to serve, bring it down waist level, look around, turn around with it, come back up eating, I'm not sure what then happened to that "order up" but I got out fast. Fortunately I was just passing through and won't have the opportunity to go back. But that's just unacceptable to eat in the kitchen - hand to mouth, and whatever else, and continue cooking and serving. Yuck. read more

My lovely bride ordered an everything pumpernickel bagel sandwich with egg, cheese, and pastrami. She said it was NYC quality (and she is discerning). I had the nova platter - salmon, plain cream cheese, onion, capers, and a slice of tomato on a toasted sesame bagel. It was absolutely stellar. Service by our server Erin was wonderful. Bagelicious is a really good pick for a nice, delicious breakfast. The ambiance is very typical of a breakfast bagel spot. As my partner said 'I kind of think the chaoticness of bagelicious gives it more authentic New York vibe', as it did feel like a New York deli. The chaoticness however was definitely a detractor from the experience. We went on a busy Sunday morning and while I'm not faulting them for being a busy restaurant without a lot of seating, the process to get a table can be a bit confusing and chaotic. To add to that the food did take a very long time to come out. With that being said, it was absolutely delicious. The eggs were perfect, the bagel was amazing, and the house fries were exactly how I like them with being just the right amount of crispy. Overall Bagelicious is a great breakfast spot to go, just make sure you aren't in a time crunch if you are planning on eating in. A recent Lyft driver recommended Bagelicious to us, telling us that she is from Brooklyn and this place is the real deal. We spontaneously went to have breakfast here on Memorial Day with friends, and it did not disappoint. **I will start by mentioning that they don't accept cards, which is very surprising, but luckily our friend had cash. There is a $3 fee charged by the ATM. After returning home, I reviewed my banking information and learned that the restaurant owns the ATM machine, so they pocket the $3 fee charged to use the ATM. The brisket and the pastrami was very dry and NOT flavorful as compared to a NY staple. The Russian dressing was definitely not to the Katz's standard nor was the coleslaw. Disappointing experience today. Took 45 minutes to get two sandwiches and a bagel and fish. The rye bread on my sandwich was not fresh and it fell apart as I was eating it; the corned beef had obviously been sliced hours earlier and was dried out around the edges. My friend's turkey sandwich didn't have near the amount of turkey that it normally has, but he said it was good. I've been coming here for 20 years and normally have good experiences with the food, but today was Just a real disappointment. Maybe because it was a weekend, I don't know. Bagelicious is the closest thing to a classic NY Jewish deli in the state of GA. It has the best bagels I've had outside of NY. They are the real deal. My family has been eating there for 20+ years. I never have issues with dine-in service and the egg dishes are a great value - they come with a bagel and another side - but the best things there are in the deli case and bagel displays. Their smoked whitefish salad is my favorite bagel topping. All of the bagels are great, but I love the Pumpernickel and Pumpernickel Everything. I kept my order simple this visit and picked 2 bagels to split with my husband. I chose the everything bagel, the jalapeño bagel, plain cream cheese and veggie cream cheese. The everything bagel was flavorful and had plenty of seasonings on top and bottom. The jalapeño had a perfectly light hint of spice. Awesome!!! I was in the area for work and my friend, we both grew up in NY, told me this place was just like our bagel place in Long Island. She did not lie. It was fabulous. I had their whitefish salad on a bagel. Here's a new rule. No eating their whitefish salad on a bagel while driving. They piled so much on this sandwich, I wore a bit of it. It was so packed with smoky goodness, I was actually smiling while eating it. Delicious. I brought home some Jewish deli cookies as well.
