Absolutely horrific experience. This woman who owns the store charged me $20 for 2 bagels. Every time I have a bad experience here and they continue to try to overcharge. Both bagels have cream cheese and slices of turkey one had capers and the other avocado. How it's possible for someone to rip people off for every single item added to their bagel is beyond me. I went back to ask how the hell it ended up being $20???? She proceeded to argue with me about how it makes sense that someone would pay that. While I was at Starbucks near Bagelicious, I decided to get a bagel here since I like going to small family run businesses. The place is pretty small and the casher/server was the nicest person I've ever met. I ordered a cheese bagel with onion cream cheese. The bagel was moist and chewy and the cream cheese had fresh sliced green onion. It was so good!!! They do not skimp on the cream cheese and the freshly sliced green onions. Great tasting bagels and cream cheese and the people there do everything they can to make sure your order is perfect. Their jalapeño cheese bagels are great but the only critique I have is sometimes the cheese isn't placed onto the bagel properly. In addition, the bagels are sometimes too thick for my toaster. We ordered bagels with cream cheese, tomato, and onion. They charge extra for true add-ons which is totally normal. What is ridiculous is what they give you. They must be making $20 off each tomato and onion! It was a joke. We'll drive further to get better quality or just get bagels from the market next door and do the prep ourselves. read more

My friend went for bagels for me as I was home sick. She said the woman there was very personable, talking to everyone. I just wanted half a dozen sesame bagels which she brought to me. They are nice sized but were rather hard on the outside. I chose to toast it because it wasn't that soft on the inside either. Toasted it was a good bagel which I covered with their whipped cream cheese- very good, and lox I had from Costco. That evening I decided to have another and was surprised that the same day they were purchased they were all hard and seemed stale. Again, I toasted it and it was good toasted. Today, the morning after, they are all hard and difficult to cut. They are the closest bagel shop to my house but I won't be back because I prefer my bagels to be so fresh you don't have to toast them to bring out the flavor or make them capable of chewing. read more

I've been to this place a total of two times. The first time I went it was OK. A standard bagel place. However, this morning, I was really in the mood for a good bagel and this place happened to be the closest bagel shop around me. I came in and there was no one at the front to greet me. So I waited about 5 minutes until someone came to take my order. I don't mind waiting l, but I found it odd that there was NO ONE around. Should have been my first sign to leave and was even considering going somewhere else at that point. So the girl took my order, which was a bagel melt with an egg on pumpkin bagel and a small orange juice. I watched as she placed the egg in the microwave (another sign I should have just left then and there) and then put the bagel in the toaster. The bagel was in the toaster for a while... and I even thought "hmm... I hope it doesn't get burnt" After I pay, she hands me my bagel and juice and I smelled that something had burnt but I didn't check until I came home, to find that a good portion of my bagel was, in fact, burned. Now, a place with GOOD customer service would have said "I'm sorry, I burnt your bagel, let me redo it". The girl who made my bagel CLEARLY saw it was burnt because she cut it in half for me after it was toasted. One more thing -- she placed the bagel on the counter to cut it for me, without placing parchment paper underneath it. I don't know how well they clean the counters, so I was a little grossed out by that. And this is how a business loses customers. Will not be coming here ever again. read more

I was the only one in her shop at 8 am on a weekday and she told me to hurry up because she had a Door Dash order to fill. She needs to hire more staff apparently! I was quite skeptical that the young woman preparing this wouldn't have a clue how it should be made. (Yes, there is a right and wrong way.) Lo and behold, though, she made it the right way. First of all, she left it open faced (off to a great start), put on a generous spreading of cream cheese (I thought for sure she'd skimp on that, but she didn't), and there was enough lox for EACH bagel half. She didn't skimp there either. Then, she added fresh tomato and onion. I couldn't wait to take my first bite. Well, it was great....better than a lot of delis that I place far more faith in.....regrettably. The bialy probably wasn't the quality of the best bialy, but it hit the spot for me. The lox was very tasty, and it wasn't TOO salty. Okay, so Junior's Deli does have better lox, but this hit the spot all the same. The tomato and onion were fresh and flavorful and added the right finishing touches. Not only that, it came with a small side of potato salad, which I thought was well made. I was really pleasantly surprised... at least with what I ordered. I cannot speak about anything else. My favorite part??? It only cost $8.50, and to get this in a deli, it'd cost $16 on up. The only thing I found strange (and I've been seeing this a lot lately) were the mostly empty display cases. This is an embarrassment to have near me when a Western Bagel is nearby. It is not like the bagels are terrible or the service is terrible. There is just a feeling you get in there. The bagels don't compare to Western Bagel either. Price wise, it's not to bad I guess, but it's about the same as ever other place you could go to. One of the pluses there is the parking is great. They also have a Starbucks a few stores down the way to get some coffee. All in All , This is a skip! Awful service. Food was whatever but the guy serving there was extremely rude. I went with my kids and his responses to my questions were so rude. I asked him simple casual questions and he seemed like in a bad mood or upset over something and took it all out on us. So disappointing. I've been coming here since I was 5 years old, it used to be one of THE best places in the area to get fresh delicious inexpensive bagels and in my opinion some of the tastiest cream cheese this cream cheese addict has ever had. Yesterday my father brought me a dozen bagels from Bagelicious and they were rock hard, not the slightest bit fresh. You used to be able to smell them coming up the drive way - i had to ask my dad if he forgot the bagels when he walked in the door and set them on the counter. I think things got lazy and or cheap. Seems like this place is hit with some poor reviews but my experience was pleasant. I came here early morning on a weekday. I was a bit discouraged by the lack of food displayed but I was hungry and I needed my breakfast. I ordered a pumpernickel bagel and was undecided on the cream cheese. I saw a sign displayed that they have Siracha cream cheese. I was immediately hooked. I got the bagel with the Siracha cream cheese and it was awesome. It was a couple of bucks and I did leave the place feeling satisfied. I would say that this is my second time here, sorta. I originally going to come here, but I noticed someone smoking right in front of the store. Being that it was early morning and the store looked a little empty with someone smoking outside right in front of the store, I was not excited to come here. She was very kind and attentive. So I guess I got a good employee... I got a cheese bagel, toasted with cream cheese and tomato. The price was just under $4. I to-go'd my bagel and took it to Starbucks a couple doors down. As for taste, it definitely wasn't the best I've had. Sure, it wasn't a hockey puck like some other Yelpers said.
