Came here at 2:40, twenty minutes before closing. The door was wide open, but when we walked in the guy immediately told us that they are closed. They should close earlier if they don't want to serve people. read more

Here's my test for a bagel shop. I order one fresh plain bagel with nothing in it and nothing on it. If it's good I go back. If it's not I move on. Unfortunately Bageloo failed the test terribly. The bagel was stale and tasted like rubber. I couldn't even pull it apart. I had to keep chewing and chewing and chewing. I'm not understanding the high rating for this place. Maybe they make good coffee. But if you're looking for a good bagel, don't waste your money! read more

The name of the store is called "Bageloo" but the word "bagel" should not be included in their store name. Avocado Bagel The presentation of the avocado bagel is nice for pictures and the avocado was fresh. However, the inside of the bagel was not toasted at all. And some areas of the bagel were very burnt on the outside. I ordered the everything bagel but could not taste the seasoning at all for some reason even though it was clearly on my bagel. You could probably order a plain bagel and not even taste the difference. The texture of the bagel was not chewy at all and even store bought bagels tasted better than this one. Bageloo offers a lot of seating inside and a huge glass case of attractive pastries. However, I do not think I will be back to try their pastries because of my negative experience with their quality of their bagels. I'm glad to say that I finally tried this place as I bookmarked it for a long time but I would not recommend this place for you to try. read more

Food was good but quite pricey for it being self serve (you grab the food and to your table), and self-bus after you eat, and food not being served with actual plates and utensils. Would return to try the coffee next time. Place has indoor and outdoor seating. read more

Customer service will keep me going to a place that isn't the best just because the vibe is good. Unfortunately, the customer service at Bageloo wasn't the best, the girls that helped take orders and rung us up weren't friendly and our food sat in a bag in front of us from ten minutes before we actually got it. We had a feeling it was ours but wondered why they weren't giving it to us. What we ordered was good but not great enough to support a place where the employees aren't friendly. So it wasn't the worst place but definitely not somewhere I would be excited to visit again. read more

Love this place! The workers are always so nice and their Lox Bagel deal is always consistently bomb dot com. I usually come for the lox bagel on either everything or cheddar jalapeño. Make sure to come early as they tend to run out of everything bagel. read more

Bageloo is an outstanding place to grab a cup of coffee or the odd pastry. We're not talking about your Starbucks grade coffee here but something truly exceptional. Mr. Kevin (the owner of Bageloo) roasts his coffee beans on site and the quality is self quite apparent in his cold brew and espressos: they're really good. Of course pastries here are truly without peer. Unlike some other establishments you aren't eating for sake of consuming sugar and carbohydrates ,the cookies and pastries here are genuinely tasty and well made. And there is a subtly and depth to the food here that makes it stand out. Of course let's not forget the Bagels here that compete with anything on the West Side and the freshly made cream cheese they're both excellent. If you're passing through Diamond Bar I would strongly recommend visiting Bageloo it's well worth your time. read more

I love their bagels and their pastries! 5 stars food However, this review is mainly for their service. Before COVID their service was quick and efficient. Even during COVID, Henry was the best. I frequently called in for my phone orders and he was wonderful and thorough putting everything aside for me every single time. Now that we're supposedly breaking out of the pandemic Bageloo has hired quite a few people. Which is a great thing, however it contradicts their purpose being there. Today, I came to buy 3 items. 2 bagels sliced, not toasted and 1 cream cheese to go. It honestly took longer than it should have. I had to repeat my order several times because the guy helping kept getting distracted with his two girl coworkers chatting. Shortly after my order was taken, these kids are all gathered around like they were having a campfire. This took a few minutes. I was the only person waiting the other couple in the bakery were already heading out because they had just finished their lunch. In reality they should of started slicing rather than have me hear about what they're doing for the weekend. I don't understand why they couldn't wait until after I left. Yes, my review seems harsh but at the same time it doesn't feel the same. Henry could of done the job of all 3 of these kids. Maybe, Henry should be hired back and pay him 3 of their paychecks. read more

This place gets pretty busy! There's indoor and outdoor dining with limited seating. Open M-F from 7am until 3pm, Saturdays from 7:30am until 3pm, and closed on Sundays. Their pastries and dessert items sell out pretty fast. It's cool that the pastry chef used to work at Republique in LA. Pretty good pastries, sandwiches, lattes, bagels, and other sweets. I like their earl grey loaf cake, blueberry bagel, cookies, salmon lox, and veggie sandwich (on toasted bread instead of bagel). The prices are pretty reasonable. Come here to pick up items to-go, or dine in for a quick breakfast/brunch/lunch break! You won't be disappointed! read more

A great bagel spot! I recommend coming early since they only had around a dozen bagels when I came at 1 PM. They also had an array of pastries that looked really good. I ordered a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese. If you like your bagels with a crunch, this is the spot for you! There was a decent amount of cream cheese- not too much or too little. My friend ordered a lox bagel which was very flavorful. Overall, this is a good place to grab bagels in Diamond Bar. read more

I started coming here when they first opened to try to support local/small businesses. From then till now the quality has gone down. They are no longer consistent and aside from the 30-40 minute wait for bagels.... This is the last thing you want to come home to. One bagel under toasted and the other one burnt. There's no quality of work in the front half of the shop. Seems like ownership runs the kitchen while a lack of management on the front end. read more

Food and coffee are great. Staff are friendly and everyone looks focused on getting orders prepared as quickly as possible. They give you your order in pieces. They don't tell you. You may be handed a bag of goodies and leave giddily, only to get home and realize you were supposed to wait for more. Like I did. I like this place and I didn't want to leave a less-than-stellar review, but I called to rectify this and I got an answering machine. I don't live in Diamond Bar and I don't have time to drive back over there. I'm sure I'll be back, but it's unlikely I'll be going out of my way to enjoy their fare again. read more

Wow... so thanks to Yelp! I found this place, be prepared for long lines or rush hours. I had the avocado toast very flavorful. My husband ordered the egg sandwich, and I was not a fan of that sandwich. We also share a blended matcha, tried the different spreads,and for sure blueberry and walnut spreads are delicious. I've eaten a lot of "famous" bagels - Montréal, New York, Einsteins, etc. But the bagels from Bageloo are the best that I've had (and I don't say that lightly). They are soft on the inside and nice and chewy on the outside. Cut them in half yourself at home so the bagel stays soft on the inside. Their pastries are also excellent. Yum, yum, yum. read more

This place has an awesome staff and even better food. Everything is fresh the bagels and cream cheese is their own recipe. The owners roast their own beans so I always get me a cup when I stop by. The environment is chill usually, though sometimes it get pretty packed. Rightfully so, they have several awards which show that even with COVID a cool mom and pop shop can survive with determination and most importantly great products and service, I'm happy this place hasn't gone away! I am so disappointed with Bageloo. I called in to place my order and when I arrived they said it would be out soon. After waiting for about 25 minutes they finally realized someone else had took my order because what ever they were gonna give me wasn't mine. No apology and told me they will make my order now. Honestly at this point I was pretty frustrated from waiting so long. This was very poor service on their part. To make matter worse after I bite into the bagel sandwich it was very dry and hard. I had to have something to drink just to wash the food down. After halfway through I just had to stop and toss the rest. I will not be back again with bad food and bad service. read more

This place is a hidden gem in Dimond Bar/Walnut area. The place is kind of small so if you want a place to sit down you might have to wait for a table. Pricing isn't the cheapest but the quality was delicious and the service was great. I got the California Veggie and the everything bagel. It has original cream cheese with avocado and 3 whole slices of tomatoes. Topped off with some fresh cracked pepper and lemon. I would come back for sure it reminded me of those New York bagel shops. also parking is free! read more

Amazing. Ordered from grubhub this morning and I ordered some bagels, 2 sandwiches and 2 16 Oz coffee. I got all the food but only 1 12 Oz coffee. Oh well, right? Well, I drank it so fast that I was missing my extra coffee (total $7 bucks, I wanted coffee more than a refund lol) So, I called and explained "1 coffee instead of 2 blah blah" 'Oh no! Where do you live, are you far?" I wasn't, like 2 minutes. Short addy convo exchanged and not even 5 minutes later.. THEY HAND DELIVERED MY COFFEE AND A FREE SUGAR TWIST! What?! The drip coffee is to die for! Owner roasts coffee beans in house, with a blend from various countries. He is very knowledgeable and has much experience in the coffee industry. He also bakes these tasty bagels and had my Turkey Club on an everything bagel. Great bagel sandwich! Also if you are going to try the drip coffee taste it with no creamer/milk first. 2nd time here and will definitely be back. 1st visit I had a decaf coffee and everything bagel with lox and cream cheese which was delicious! I also really like that they cut the bagels and spread cream cheese for you. Today I came for lunch and got a BLT on everything bagel. Honestly, I did go home and add my own avocado as well as more mayo,some mustard and some salt, just my personal preference. Was very tasty although the bagel was a little tough. read more

I visited Bageloo for the first time today at the recommendation of a friend. I ordered a Turkey Club and found a strand of hair in the sandwich midway through. I called Bageloo to notify them and was very disappointed at the lack of customer service when they didn't even offer to remake the sandwich or offer a refund. It says a lot when they simply say thanks for letting us know and end the call. Unfortunately, the quality and the customer service did not meet expectations and I will not be returning. read more

No. This is a bagel cafe. This place has a very small selection of pastries. The cake maker is no longer there so the few cakes they once had are no longer on offer (boo hoo).

Across the board, they were pretty tasteless and bland. Most of them just tasted like sugar with only a very subtle hint of flavor. Out of all of them, the coffee had the "strongest" flavor, but even that was still quite mild. On top of that, the experience wasn't great. The owner came across as rude, which made the visit even less enjoyable. Overall, between the lack of flavor and the service, it wasn't worth it for me.

My first bite was very dry and I wasn't sure what I was tasting. It didn't taste like crab for sure, so I had a second bite. It was bad. I asked one of the workers if I could switch it out with anything, she said she'll ask the manager. The assistant manager came and told me that she cannot swap it out and that I should have read in the description that it's only imitation crab meat. Ok, I can own that, I could have read the fine print. But it wasn't just the taste, it was also the texture, the over fried dried dough... I really wish that she could have been more understanding and more accommodating. It's only a bakery item and not a prime rib dinner. Not only the crab croquette left a bad taste, the lack of service and courtesy also left a bad taste.

The place is quite small but has a decent amount of seating inside and out and the prices are right in line with most shops in the area.
