The orange logo color and the weathered green awning are the superficial disguises of a clean, earthy, robust, slightly nutty interior. A knowledgeable cashier waits patiently to take your money as you find the courage to ask what the difference is between a Dutch coffee and... coffee. Their egg bagel sandwich with avocado is served with skinny, pickled radish and earthy sprouts to counter the richness of the runny yolk and guacamole-like avocado, creating a taste that isn't overwhelming and stays balanced so that you can enjoy bite after bite- but I'm no food scientist and I won't get into all that. Just coming back from NYC, where they're famous for their bagels. I was still craving bagels. I found this spot near by and was impressed how fresh the bagels, pastries, and coffee taste. The decor/ambiance is rustic meet modern. Been here twice already and I highly recommend getting the churro fried pastry. It's like a cronut minus the filling; it's so BOMB! Also if you like savory and don't mind if your breath smells like garlic/onions; order the "everything" bagel with jalapeños spread. It's a savory, creamy and spicy. The breakfast egg/bacon sandwich is gooood! I had to share since it was stuffed with a bunch of goodness. The egg was cooked perfect, not too gooey or over cooked. My favorite is the drip coffee! So nutty and good!!!! Pretty much everything here is good, LOL. Come early because they do sell out of stuff! There's a ton of parking and they accept card and cash. So happy I found this place and close by to my house. I've been looking for a good bagel place for some time. NYC bagels are the best (here's looking at you Ess-a-bagel) but obviously not living there, it's kind of a struggle to get good ones here. We were looking for a bagel breakfast sandwich place that was nearby because my boyfriend wanted one and landed here. I mean at this point we've already had some doozies so might as well try and hey look we can order inside for take out. We got there Saturday morning, very few people in line so we got our order in pretty quickly. I just got a regular everything bagel toasted with cream cheese and my boyfriend got an egg sandwich with bacon. We took to our car to eat it and then get on with our day. We loved them so much I went back inside for a dozen bagels to take home. Toasted, the bagel is nice and crisp on the outside, some chew on the inside. Just the perfect texture for a good bagel. We've been enjoying them from out of the freezer at home. Pro tip - ask for it to get sliced in advance before you throw them in the freezer. It'll keep fresh longer and you can toast it from the freezer. read more

First time visiting Bageloo yesterday and loved it! I ordered a 16oz drip coffee , French toast and a chocolate chip cookie. The coffee was piping hot and delicious ! The French toast was full, crispy, and paired perfectly with all of the sweet fruits. And the Chocolate chip cookie was AMAZING. I like to think that I'm a chocolate chip cookie connoisseur and Bageloo has to be one of my Top 3 favorites of all time. Wow... whoever is the baker baking these cookies, I hope someday you can teach me. Good bagels, excellent service, coffee is alright. My parents say the coffee is a little too light for them. The place is a little small though, so either come early or grab and go. The bagels are "healthier" than Julie's across the street, but the selection seems a little smaller. Their selections of pastries is more robust, and I'm a bigger fan of the them.. so maybe skip the donut shop, and just hit this place up instead for gourmet sweets? I almost want to say, in the afternoon, it's supposed to be a study spot, but I probably wouldn't come here to study. It's a little cramped and a little too warm to study well. read more

Ambiance: My friend and I came here around 12 pm on a Saturday to get some work done. The look of this cafe is very modern and elegant. I loved all of the beautiful plants and flowers neatly placed around the cafe. There is a lot of natural lighting here which was wonderful for reading and studying. The music was enjoyable and not too loud. Food: I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich that I loved! The sandwich was served warm at a perfect temperature, the cheese was nicely melted, and the egg oozed out to create an awesome breakfast. I wasn't sure if I would like the coffee here but the vanilla latte was something I will definitely order again. It was light and had just the right amount of vanilla flavoring. Service: The service is the only reason why I cannot give this place five stars! There were at least three employees working behind the counter and yet we waited almost 15 minutes just to order. The young lady at the cash register kept running back and forth instead of only taking people's orders and she didn't even apologize for the long time we waited to order. I understand that this is a newer establishment, so hopefully the staff will become more efficient with their tasks instead of creating a lot of motion waste. The owner was present and was accomodating to her customers. Overall: This is the first cafe I've tried in Diamond Bar and I will definitely be back. I rarely get to breakfast at home. So when I do, it's nice. So what's for breakfast this morning? I just finished the Colombian beans, which was better in a press pot. So on to guatemala which shines using the Chemex drip. Don't know why. Just is. Black. Pinch of sea salt. While that's brewing, I got a croissant waking up in a convection oven @ 225F. Keeps the inside chew pleasantly chewy while making the outside flake shatteringly flaky. Good breakfast. Still the best coffee roaster in town. And far, far, heads and shoulders superior croissant in a xx-mile radius. Sometimes, when I'm silly, I put a small dab of black cherry or strawberry jam in one corner of that croissant. Wild. Just an aside: In the past, I used to stop by Bageloo on my way home when I get off work early to pick up goodies every so often. My wife was usually at home pre-COVID anyway, but now that the kids are Zoom-schooling at home also, she's the one going now. Bageloo has become both a bit of a get-a-way and a treat for her. Went back again and it was still amazing. Picked up some more bagels and grabbed a vanilla latte, which was so good. Also got the avocado bagel (breakfast item). One of the best I've had anywhere. It was just so delicious. Loved it. My mom also came with me this time and she also enjoyed the avocado bagel, as well as the salad that came with it. We got some bread and a banana pastry! She wants to come back w her friends haha. And I told her to get the carrot cake next time Bc they were out this time. Super cute and clean new shop with New York style bagels, fresh baked pastries and hand roasted coffee! They have a great staff who walked me and mom through their array of bagels and pastries. They had several different flavors of bagels and cream cheese and an entire case of pastries full of goodies like croissants, cake, cookies and rolls, and boxed salads. We ordered an onion bagel with scallion cream cheese along with a box full of various pastries for the family, some of which we ended up just eating at the shop with our coffee! Don't judge. The bagel was chewy and flavorful, and the cream cheese was creamy and savory.  I learned that the pastry chef here is a seasoned pastry chef and worked at one of my favorite LA spots, Republique! We got the carrot cake (which we got to sample), croissants, matcha cake, nutella roll and cookies. The croissants were divine. Flaky and buttery with a soft chewy center. Perfect amount of crunch and chew! The cakes, cookies and rolls were delicious as well -- not overly sweet and very moist. This place is a gem. It's hard to find legit bagels so this will definitely be our go to. As for the pastries, you can't find this quality and taste anywhere else nearby or the mainstream/franchise spots. Not even close. The coffee was tasty too and affordable considering the beans are hand roasted. Will be back soon! read more

This used to be in the spot where Mr. Baker used to be. The only thing I had was the avocado bagel, but it was insanely amazing. I would come back just for that. They have fresh amazing coffee that fills the room with it's scent. The pastries also look amazing as well. I would come back to try those as well. The avocado bagel comes on a plain bagel with plenty of avocado and two sunny side up eggs. It's topped with some sprouted greens, pickled radishes, and peppers. It was a feast for the eyes and the soul. I can't wait to bring my friends here. This bagel is huge enough for a brunch or even to split with another person in my opinion. This place is way too overpriced and I wish I took a photo of the "matcha latte" I got, but I kid you not it was so light green almost white, I had never received something called matcha like that before. I used to come to this place pretty frequently because it is relatively quick and close to work. However, I no longer come here because I overheard the owner and employee talking about me and my coworker in a very rude manner. At the time, there was a young Asian woman behind the counter. My coworker arrived first and was waiting for me to order. After I arrived and we ordered, we sat at a table by the window to the right when you first walk in. I then overheard the young Asian woman commenting about me and my coworker in an incredibly rude manner to the Korean owner. The owner, instead of telling her off, seemed to encourage the comments that were being made, and they both laughed. I couldn't hear the entire conversation, only parts of it, but wow. I won't repeat what was said, but the gist of it was that the young Asian employee said I was a "slut". I can't believe they would talk about customers like that. Because of this experience, I went from coming to Bageloo once a week or so to never returning. I do not recommend. Rude people. Disgusting behavior and wish I could do a chargeback on all the money I spent there. Save yourself the energy and go to Julie's Bagels down the street. Much better attitude there, probably because they actually have customers and don't have time to just stand around talking sh*t :) read more
