The pastries here are 10/10. They are on the pricier side but the quality is amazing. My favorite are probably the almond croissant (perfect ratio, light, buttery) and the Portoguese egg tart (not sure what was more amazing the filling or the crust). Everything was amazing too. Cute little local spot! There's ample parking and a little patio area in case you want to hangout with your furry friend. Overpriced and not worth it. Ordered an egg, cheese, and bacon bagel. The cheese is some type of cheap over processed cheese and the egg tasted off and it was cold. They were not busy and I waited about 20 minutes and 8 of those minutes my sandwich was sitting on the counter. I finally went to ask when my sandwich was going to be ready and they said it just came out. They blatantly lied to me since the cook rang the bell to let the people working the front know a cook item was ready several minutes before. They just ignored it. Also, don't let the pictures fool you, they don't have as many pasties and other baked good to order in front counter. They very little options to choose from and this was not the first time. I had come here before and ordered food and was disappointed, but thought I would give it another chance. Don't know how they got so many great reviews. Diamond Bar, CA ***If you read anything in this review do yourself a favor and be forewarned if you are ordering a breakfast bagel egg and cheese: they automatically put ketchup and mayo on an egg and cheese breakfast bagel unless you tell them not to. I've never heard of this before nor is it stated on their menu board so we received an unpleasant surprise on our first order here. Thankfully on my recent order I asked why the breakfast sandwich we ordered several months ago was sweet and not great in flavor and I got my answer! Most probably the ketchup and mayo (which was not requested but not known about either)! After waiting 10 months for a second visit I am pleased with my second visit much more than my first. I learned a few things on that first visit and they have made a few changes as well. They were out of my favorite poppy seed bagel at 9 AM on a Friday?! Seems to early to run out a popular variety...I opted for a sesame bagel extra, extra toasted with guess what? Veggie Cream Cheese...they have added it to their menu and it is good, thanks Bageloo for listening! The texture of the bagel is much improved from almost a year ago. Even though $10 barely got me an egg, bacon and cheese bagel and a bagel with cream cheese, it was much more enjoyable taste wise than first visit. I know to ask for the bagel extra toasted (since their toaster barely gives any color to the toasted bagel), and also requested NO ketchup and mayo on breakfast bagel! My husband enjoyed his egg and cheese bagel much more this time. Service was somewhat attentive but somewhat not. ***Part of this may be the layout of the store...there is an L shaped counter with all of the baked goods, menu board and bagels on the long side of the L and a register on the short side of the L. I am sure they would sell a lot more impulse buy pastries if their layout were similar to a Starbucks where the register is near the baked goods.*** When I walked up to the register I asked the man a question and he shrugged his shoulders and did not know the answer so I went to look at the menu board for a moment which is not conveniently seen from the register. The guy at the register just walked away and started just looking in the pastry case on the other side of the store instead of manning the register. I waited for several minutes until he realized he had a customer patiently waiting to order and came back to the register. Once he took my order he was much more attentive and got the order correct, so kudos for that. Maybe they should make a paper menu to keep by the register...just a suggestion! Pastries still look enticing but how much can one order at a time? Guess I will have to return again at some point. read more

Amazing! The bagels made in this store are very fresh and is delicious with their variety of bagels. Their coffee is brewed nicely as well as their desserts, especially their Blueberry Scone. Everything in this store is handmade from scratch, including their unique variety of cream cheeses that pairs well with their bagels. If you're looking for a fresh bagel, I recommend coming here. Really like this place! People come and go quickly. There's plenty of seating. People just come here for a quick bite and to chat. I just find it odd that the menu cannot be easily read by the ordering area. The menu is displayed where the bagels are and then you have to walk to the corner to order. Wifi is free and fast! The password is by the cash register. I would say the lox bagel sandwich is fairly priced because smoked salmon is pricey itself. There's water available to get yourself. I just noticed that they don't leave any extra napkins out; you probably have to ask. I noticed there was no one there by 3:30 even though they close at 4. I also ate the Ham Egg & Cheese Bagel sandwich and was not disappointed. I'm torn between giving this place a 3-star or a 5-star... Why the 3-star? The name of the place sugguested they are specialized in bagel but I found their bagel to be...mediocre at best. I don't think they proof the dough long enough leaving the bagel to be pretty densed. Their pastries on the other hands are much much much better than the bagels. As a fan of Republique pastries, I approve all the pastries here. All the flaky patries are light and delicated as they should have been. Moving on to my favorite, the cream puffs, they have prefect sweetness on the filling and the dutch crunch adds such a pleasant texture. I'm so glad we finally have good pasties in the area. I hope they improve on their bagel receipes. I know a couple of my friends who got disspointed in their bagels so they didn't even give their pastries the chance they deserve! I'll be coming back here for pastries and stick to Costco for my bagels. read more

Not sure if they're focus is coffee, bagels, or both? I would recommend trying it once for the coffee. For me I wasn't a fan of the poppyseed bagel as much as I was a fan of their pour over (Costa Rican beans). Perhaps next time I'd ask for a toastier bagel, but given the texture of the inside (not enough gluten that you'd expect from a NY style bagel; chewy) it might just turn into a biscuit. read more

I LOVE this place. This is the best cafe in diamond bar! Excellent fresh homemade food. And this level of high quality coffee you will not find anywhere else in the area. Extremely friendly staff. My wife and I love the avocado bagel - she gets a juice and I get a cappuccino. The decor and ambience are trendy/clean/modern. Very well decorated. Awesome stainless steel espresso machine. Would be nice if they stopped carrying soda. And instead carried natural sodas. More natural organic options would be nice. read more
