I absolutely love the Bagels & Co in Wilton Manors and was thrilled when I heard they weee opening one up in Pompano. The bagels and spreads are divine. That didn't change at all. My all time favorite combo is the French Toast bagel with the Maple Bacon cream cheese. Thank me later. The food is consistent with the other Bagel & Co, as it should be. The issue is the service and the layout. The place is super small and they placed the walk up and order screens in line with the bathrooms which also crosses the order and pick up line. There is also a table right next to where everyone is trying f to place their screen order so it gets super crowded. I love that they are doing well and I really hope they move to a new location bc there simply isn't enough room for all of the business coming in (that's not a bad thing). Now, I don't know if it was bc of the layout or what but the expeditor was ll over the place, forgot our order of tots, and the bagels were definitely not fresh. We were there about 10 minutes after opening so they should not have had that hard coat. It felt like I got someone's Too Good to Go order. We love Bagel's & Co and order online via Ap to try to avoid the back up but you can't even get in this store to get your order. Hoping you get more space! read more

We were looking for a spot to grab breakfast/lunch and came across Bagels & Co., so we decided to give it a try. When we walked in, there were at least 15 people waiting around for their orders, even though only one couple was ahead of us in line. It took about 10-15 minutes before we were able to order, as things seemed a bit backed up and the cashier was also handling multiple coffee orders. My boyfriend ordered the Jersey Shore, which comes with egg, hash brown, bacon, sausage, and ham on a toasted sesame bagel. He asked if he could substitute double bacon instead of the sausage, but they weren't able to accommodate that. I ordered the Morning Glory on a sesame bagel, which comes with eggs, bacon, American cheese, scallion cream cheese, and mike's hot Honey. After ordering, it took another 15-20 minutes to get our food. Unfortunately, my boyfriend had asked for his eggs scrambled well done, but they came out over medium, so he had to send it back and wait an additional few minutes. As for the food, my sandwich was good, the bacon was nice and crispy, but I could have done without the hot honey, as it made it a bit too sweet for my taste. My boyfriend said his sandwich was pretty good overall, but they only put one strip of bacon on it, which was disappointing since that was the main meat he was looking forward to. Overall, it was okay. There's definitely some good flavor here, but between the wait time, small issues with the order, and limited customization, there are other bagel spots we prefer. read more

I have been waiting for this place to open for several months, so I was pleased to see it finally open about two weeks ago. I was able to visit early this morning to bring home a toasted bagel and cream cheese with coffee. Bagels & Co is in a strip mall in Pompano across from the large park on Federal Highway. This strip mall has a couple of excellent places, and now we're adding a third one to its list of hits! There is ample parking in front. Upon entering, I received a friendly greeting, and I was happy to find the shop bright and clean. The way they display all their fresh bagels and cream cheese spreads is very inviting. The kind worker behind the counter suggested that I download their app. Once there, I was able to access a fantastic coupon offer. (I'm not sure how long the offer will be there, but if you are a new customer, you should check it out.) Their menu provides several breakfast options, including breakfast sandwiches. But for my first visit, I decided to go with a classic - toasted everything bagel and a salmon dill schmear. I was very impressed with their variety of bagels options, ranging from classic to savory to sweet. There are gluten-free, too. The same can be said about the cream cheese schmears. I don't think I've ever seen a place have as many options as they do. If you have a sweet tooth, the sweeter spreads look incredible! Perhaps I need to have a dessert bagel one day. They also appear to have two vegan spreads as well. They are made with tofu, but I would inquire with staff to ensure they are 100% plant-based. The customer service I received was excellent and friendly. My regular coffee was good and not at all bitter. Their bagels are quite large, and they provide a generous helping of the spread. My everything bagel was very well seasoned and not weak. (Sometimes when you order that type of bagel elsewhere, there's barely any flavor which can be disappointing.) a nice balance between the salmon and the dill and the spread, and it was quite delicious. This new bagel and breakfast spot is certainly a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I'm sure as word catches on, this place will become part of many people's morning routines. This spot is a 10/10 experience! The woman at the register , Tasha, immediately greeted us with a smile and such welcoming energy, she even shouted "welcome in!" As we walked in. The bagels looked so fresh and the smells in there are delicious. It was super busy so you know it's good! A short wait for our order and they were very nice. As we were leaving in our car we saw another employee come out and help a woman with a brand new baby walk her order to her car and handed her the order after she strapped the baby into the car with such patience. This is 10/10 customer service that's hard to find these days and we are so grateful for this encounter at this location. They are definitely doing something right! When you sleep late and don't feel like going out it's Door Dash to the rescue. Bage & Co was nearby and our food came quickly. Thanks Harry! He hands me the bag and it was really heavy. These bagels are the biggest I've ever seen. They are that nice balance between soft and chewy and the generous serving of veggie cream cheese schmear was a nice complement. Need a bagel fix? This is my 4th time trying this location because it's so close to home, but disappointed every single time. The bagel is smashed into nothing (I saw them absolutely crush it when they cut it) & so hard to chew from the bad bake. It's not burnt just truly not a good bagel. We also ordered right when we came in and it took 20 minutes to get the bagel. Not sure how it's so slow and subpar every time. read more

What a neighborhood gem. Service is ten stars. Super nice people and working quite hard to keep up this busy Father's Day morning. But despite the bustle they were smiling and clearly enjoying themselves which always raises the atmosphere in any establishment. Yes it's a small place. A few small tables inside and some more outside, and the majority of the business was counter service or deliveries. The bagels may not be "traditional New York style". (Sorry I'm a northeasterner and also make my own bagels), but they are flavorful (a French toast that tastes like French toas!) and fluffier than normal but still have a chew. Different but delish, They also have a huge variety of very interesting cream cheeses. I was feeling the need for protein just off the red eye and the bagel sandwiches are really good! But hubby braved the apple cinnamon. I wasn't sure what to expect but they balanced the flavors perfectly. Hope to be in the area again! I enjoy the bagels and they have a good selection of cream cheese spreads. My only complaint would be they do not carry any tea selections, only decaf Lipton. I think that would be a nice addition to a very nice bagel place. read more

I was a total a-hole on my 1st visit today & want to apologize for my attitude & short fuse. Needed to say that! The bagels are huge. Toast one side at a time because you may not be able to eat the other half. I had an issue with the cashier & was already in a shitty mood. So I was haven't it. The other two employees were fine. I was surprised to see they didn't have a bagel slicer but they quickly sliced up a dozen. As others have said, they have some work to do in a very competitive market. I wish them luck read more

I say this because I ordered from them saying my name was the hash slinging slasher from SpongeBob and they called my name and even said "the sash ringing the flash singing the bash pinging the hash slinging slasher. Walked in w 2 people in line and waited 25 minutes for Bacon egg and cheese and a Muffin. And Im still waiting for it. I dont really care if its the best BEC ever eat at this point 25 minutes is absurd. Dont come here, drive an extra 10-15 minutes somewhere else where they do business like a Normal bagel spot.
