There's limited seating inside, but the shop is a quick walk from the bay, which has some benches. Their coffee offerings are limited, but they have a cooler full of other drinks. My boyfriend and I decided to stop by here since I was craving a bagel with lox. We decided to get a bagel with lox on an everything bagel which tasted really good; the only downside is that the bagel was not toasted which would have made it perfect! We also got a turkey with lettuce and tomatoes and a roll which was also delicious. The sandwich itself was packed full of turkey and it was definitely worth it. Last we decided to get a bacon egg and cheese and a egg and cheese on a roll which was pretty standard (nothing too special but still good)! The price was fair, similar prices to other bagel places in the area. They do have a decent amount of bagel options, definitely none of the crazy flavors but all the usual options were there. I think this is a solid spot for breakfast and I do see myself coming back in the future whenever I am craving a bagel or a breakfast sandwich. read more

Horrible customer service. I ordered a bagel with scrambled eggs and cheese. I pick up my order it's a fried egg. When I tell the workers, one gets combative and yells I just made it. It's scrambled. I say no it isn't. I can't eat this. Instead of offering to remake it or refund me I get an "oh well" too bad. I gave them there food back and I'll now fight the charge. Had enough.... I have to bring the reviews down here where they belong. This place has a half a** selection of bagels consistently. They never have the kind you want and they are frequently small hard hockey pucks. They overcharge from everything including bagels to drinks. I can't believe this place uses the word Bagel in the title / name of their store, they shouldn't be allowed to. What a disgrace. It's relatively clean here - however good luck parking outside because unless you want to leave it in front of the fire hydrant there is no parking. Decent bagel store, not many bagels to offer I guess if you come after 9am there pretty much all sold out. People who worked here were pretty decent and nice. My partner paid for my bagel so I wouldn't of known how much it cost me. (he's a gem) They offer breakfast and lunch menus. I'm not an easy grader on Yelp. But I had to write a review after I saw some of the negative ones and it actually prevented me from going there for lunch the other day. Still haven't been there for lunch but been there a bunch of times for breakfast. Don't know why anyone would give this place a bad review. They always get your order right. Breakfast sandwiches come out piping hot. They write down your order - not like most delis where they trick themselves into thinking they can remember it. (They can't). And they call you by name. Its a nice, neighborhoody type place. Super South shore nautical theme. No frills. I love this place. I don't know what the negative Nelly's are talking about. And you have all the older gentlemen there during the week that probably go every day. Zero down side to this spot. UPDATE: I am here right now for lunch. Italian hero is great. They have very nice Bagels here (although not rated by me to be in my top 5 on Staten Island) they are certainly the best bagels in the area that they are located in, as in that part of the North Shore, one would need to travel a bit to Forest Avenue, or up to Hylan, to find any other decent little holed gems.
