Very convenient location. It is a quick walk from the Embassy suites. Bagels plus is an excellent location to get a breakfast bagel. Staff was very friendly and made my breakfast sandwich to order. I stepped next-door to the Dunkin' Donuts to get a coffee to go with my bagel also another excellent location with friendly staff. In these trying times I try to spread around where I spend my Perdiem and use local places rather than the big chain restaurants. I would highly recommend this deli especially for their breakfast sandwich. I was very satisfied. Walk to and from the hotel was also a moment to reflect. I've been coming to this area for 20+ years and to see lack of activity is disheartening. This is a glorified bagel spot. From the reviews I saw that this was a top bagel spot and I beg to differ. We got two bacon egg and cheese bagels one on a regular bagel and one cinnamon raisin. The bagels lacked freshness, there was no salt and pepper added to the egg and the eggs were under cooked. They give a decent proportion on the bagel but for $8 a bagel breakfast sandwich I expected it to be delicious. I've had better Bacon eggs and cheeses at bodegas. The two gentlemen behind the counter are in sync with eachother while one takes orders and prepare the bagels and the other guy makes the cooked portion of the sandwiches but it's very subpar food. We went for breakfast so hopefully their lunch menu is much better. The business is super cute but the food itself didn't sell me. I wouldn't make an extra drive to come back to this establishment but I guess it served its purpose for making a quick morning breakfast sandwich. read more

Most of the time there is so much cream cheese and barely any salmon. This sandwhich was overflowing with salmon. While out shopping with the wife yesterday I needed to get something to eat. I have been meaning to try Bagels Plus for quite awhile now after reading many good reviews. It is definitely tiny, with only 4 tables inside it is very tight. But don't let this distract you. There are plenty of tables/benches in the near by courtyard to have a nice lunch in nice weather. Check out the blackboard out front that have daily specials that are not on the menu. Off the daily menu I ordered the Tangy Roast Beef on whole wheat. It was piled high with hot roast beef, melted cheddar cheese and a creamy horseradish sauce. My wife went with the West Wood which was grilled chicken on an Italian roll with fresh mozzarella, roasted pepper, lettuce and tomato with balsamic dressing. Both sandwiches were a very decent size and reasonably priced. Whether shopping like we were, or going to a movie and want to stop to get a bite to eat before or after the movie, you need to check out Bagels Plus. The guy behind the counter was super nice, and the customer that came in talked to him for a while, it was nice to see.
