This place is doing it right. The ambiance is just what you should expect from a busy Long Island deli. A huge showcase filled with salads, bagels, specialty cream cheeses, pastries, cookies, etc, a small dining area, the exterior walls lined with stocked refrigerators, and of course, a line literally out the door and onto the sidewalk. The lined moved pretty quickly, and it's obvious that these people know what they're doing. I could not even count the amount of staff they had running around in the back, but everyone was moving swiftly, and with a purpose. We ordered 10... yes 10... bacon, egg (over medium, for just the right amount of yolkiness) American cheese, S&P on a poppy seed roll. While I was waiting, I got a chance to chat with the owner, who was running the register. What a great dude! Anyway, the BEC's were fantastic! Just as they should be! They also make the poppy seed rolls in house, as I was informed. Whenever I'm in the area, I will return for the perfect combination of great food and hustle and bustle!

Don't order on uber eats from here, spent 22$ for a wrap. Had to pay extra for "3" egg whites extra for turkey and waited an hour for this to show up. Kind of insane that you set a base price for an egg sandwich but then have to pay extra to put anything in it. Wouldn't mind paying the extra if you actually filled the wrap. Instead I ate a stale tortilla. I'm hungover at work and just wanted a sandwich. Do better

    the proof

i have been going here for a decade, but this just made me mad! I ordered 1 (BEC) Bacon Egg & Cheese on a roll $8.45 pls tx, 1 Bacon and egg on a roll $8.45 pls tx, 1 Turkey Club @ $10.99 , 1 bottle of coke $3.25 (12-16oz not sure) and 2 bags of chips @ $2.69. @$46.13!!! now i got charged $1.30 for the cheese on 1st egg sandwich ok fine....i got charged$10.99 for the turkey club but then they charged me for the cheese the lettuce the tomato and the bacon on my turkey club??? What the heckkk....I reached out to the owner and after TALKING OVER ME and being combative and he even hung up on me said"" i owe you $1.55, i charged you for tomatoes when they came with the sandwich" funny part is if you owe me $1.55 what charge was that? cause the cheese was $1.30 and the lettuce and tomato was $1.99 and the bacon was $2.35? so where does $1.55 even equate from? Secondly you just charged me $10.99+1.30+1.99+2.35 for a Turkey Club on a ROLL!!!! bad service can be fixed and so can mistakes but trying to justify an almost 20 dollar turkey club is just next level disrespect and robbery!!!!

Most overpriced deli/ bagel place on Long Island. $13.14 for an egg sandwich on a bagel and they put it on a roll forgot the meat and look at the COMICAL JOKE of a sandwich in the photos.... I've also attached a picture of the price so you know I'm not lying supposed to be two eggs on a sunflower seed bagel with ham and cheese salt pepper, ketchup. Clearly a roll, barely any cheese no ham but at least there's ketchup in the eggs. Don't even fill the roll. Yelp asks "oh no what could improve" literally everything

The longish sort of line seemed promising, but the hold up wasn't because everyone needed a bagel from here, it was only because of a discrepancy of some sort. The staff was hustling, and eggs were being flipped right behind the counter and everything looked like it was kept clean. The service is a bit subpar. I was skipped over, which seemed to be an honest mistake so I didn't fuss. More pissed at the dude that speak up to say I was next. I guess chivalry is dying. The bagel itself was also subpar. I ordered an everything flagel with olive cream cheese. It wasn't bad by any means it just wasn't anything special. The star of the show was the cream cheese. Wasn't too olivey and you can tell it was pretty fresh. Nothing was labeled so I couldn't tell you what other cream cheeses they had. The menu was digital and was hung on the wall behind the counter. It didn't have much besides the list of bagels and before I could try to read more it would flash off. This place is fine in a pinch, but I'm not running back any time soon.

To start, I found The Turkish Pistachio on Yelp searching for a store that sells baklava! Its maybe a 15 minute drive at most from my home so I headed there after an appointment I had today! I walked in and was struck by their huge variation and selection of products. The refrigerators and freezers in the back carry ready made meals and items you would need to make your own! I saw everything except the baklava so I went to the counter to ask for help and was immediately greeted by the friendliest guy with the nicest smile named Art! The baklava was sitting right on the counter but it was pistachio baklava, not the type made with walnuts that I wanted! Art searched in the back for me and in the frozen section but no walnut baklava, only pistachio! A new shipment wasn't due to be delivered until Thursday, so being a wonderful employee, Art offered me samples of the chocolate covered nuts and raisins that were displayed in the front of the store. I tasted them all and all were so good but the milk chocolate covered almonds were the winner for me! After paying for my almonds, Art took out a little spray bottle he had near the register called Turistik (it has a very fresh lemony scent). Apparently there's a Turkish custom that you shake hands after any transaction and then you spray your hands after with this product to cleanse them. This is absolutely true, I googled it! I may not have found my baklava today but instead I discovered a real gem of a store, learned a Turkish custom, left with a pound of chocolate covered almonds, a bottle of Turistik and I made a new friend named Art. It was a win win for me in every way!

The sausage & egg were not large enough for the bagel. This was also one of the more expensive bagel sandwiches I've bought in the area and I don't think the quality matches the price. The place also felt messy and unclean. Maybe the quality and cleanliness would have been better if I got food first thing in the morning, but I don't think I'll be heading back here anytime soon given the other options in the area.

So I made my way over there to try em out. Long Island really rapes you on a bacon egg and cheese, or at least this crap-hole does. Paid something close to $9 and it was god awful. I have a hard time believing this ever could have been good. I see 80-90% of the pix on here are from one dude three years ago, some look good n all, but this place is anything but. Hard pass.
