Tucson, Arizona Holy cow! Those were my first thoughts when I saw the prices on the menu board. All you get is a sandwich for $14-$16. Everything else cost extra. It's a lot of money for a lunch that is a walk up order yourself deli sandwich restaurant. The restaurant is clean with many tables. The drinks are served behind the counter, so there is no walk up area to refill your drinks. I ordered the sundown turkey sandwich. It is an 8 inch sandwich that has turkey stuffing, cranberries, mayonnaise. At 11:30 AM they had no iced tea yet made. So I chose to have water. They holler out your name when your food is ready. Then they bring it to your table. My first thought of the food it was that the bread is delicious. It is very soft and has great flavor. The sandwich came with turkey, cranberries, lettuce, and mayonnaise and stuffing. I thought it was a good sandwich overall but I think it is overpriced. There are too many sandwich shops in town that are accompanied with sides for the price that I am paying for this. You do get a miniature chocolate chip cookie with your sandwich. I would give this place four stars for their sandwich. I would give this place two stars for their price. Overall. 3.7 stars.

Baggins, in my opinion is one of the best sandwich shops in Tucson. This Baggins is by the airport. I have never been disappointed by any of their sandwiches. Inside has a southwestern flair. There is plenty of seating and great for groups. The staff were all friendly.

The unforgettable sandwich I had here was very satisfying after a long week of working in the dessert sun. It's loaded with Turkey, the cream cheese is a great addition and the star, in my opinion, is the squaw bread they use. It takes the sandwich to the next level because it's soft and sweet. I wish they had Baggins where I lived because I'd love to come back and try some of the deli sides and certainly more of their bakery sweets since the chocolate chip cookie that came with my sandwich was so delicious! The staff was friendly and having a great time as well which gave the whole place a good vibe. I'm surprised it was so dead inside when I went in at 4 pm but maybe I beat the dinner rush? I'd expect this place to be very popular. Next time I'm back in AZ, I'll remember to come here again.

The waitress was great and attentive. The food was middle of the road. I had a turkey sandwich and soup. Very salty and mediocre.

The unassuming run down strip mall facade I hope offers a low rent lot for them to keep business going forever, and also offers customers pretty reliable free parking. Take a menu and order first at the register before finding a seat within the bare bones interior. Yes, there's a cool wall mural of a kung fu noodle girl and a LOT of (hopefully) ironic quips about working, but otherwise it's just some tables, the glass storefront, the register, and the kitchen. It's fortunately pretty spacious so you won't have to feel the heat radiating from your neighbor or their soup bowl. I like a focused menu, and Noodleholics has just a few different options that they do and do well. We opted for the spicy Chaoshou Dumplings as well as a bowl of the Taiwanese Beef and The Guilin. The Chaoshou Dumplings were good but just okay, with me hoping for an oilier type sauce to better coat each dumpling, though the sauce definitely has a kick. The noodle soups though... Wow. Both soup bases were savory rich and nourishing, packed full of fresh protein and veggies. I liked the wide wheat noodles more than the thinner rice noodles in the Guilin, but really enjoyed the mixture of pickled veggies and crunchy peanuts that often don't make it into dishes outside of a true Chinese restaurant. I do think the beef and pork could be more tender, but they really perfected the crispy skin of the pork. This is a great affordable, casual meal that just feeds your soul, and I like that once they bring your food out, everything else is self-serve so you're not waiting around for a takeout box or refilling water, which is all located at a convenient counter. Another mark of an authentic Asian restaurant is a toothpick dispenser (check!). If they ever opened a location in my area, I know I'd be a regular!

You order at the register and can choose to sit anywhere. Our food came out quickly. We ordered the Guilin dried style and the other bowl with broth. The noodle bowl includes rice noodles. meat-based spiced sauce, spicy pickled greens & bamboo, pickled long beans, roasted peanuts, and you can choose between 2 proteins. For my two proteins, I chose crispy pork belly and pork intestine. I wish they gave a little more because it was so good. I personally loved the dry one because the noodles soaked well with the sauce. The sauce was sooo gooodddd. The noodles were perfectly cooked - had a good soft bounce to it. The guilin with broth was also so good. The broth was perfectly cooked chicken broth. The pickled greens were a nice touch to balance the flavors. I wish this place was closer to me because I literally would go every week. This is one of the best noodle bowls I had in such a long time. Next time when I am in Tucson, I am going to try their other menu items because everything looked so good. Very reasonable price and great portions. There were lots of tables inside. Restaurant was clean. Parking was spacious. You have to try this!!

For entrees, we got Curry Chicken and Cumin Lamb. I'd never had Cumin Lamb before, and it rocketed to the top of my favorites list! It was gorgeously flavorful, fragrant, and spicy, warming as I ate. The spiced oil soaked into the rice, spreading the flavor to every last grain. It's really lovely and I highly recommend it. The restaurant is bigger than it appears from the outside, with a bright, cheerful ambience. Despite being busy, it never felt too loud, which was nice.
