Poor customer service. Ordered delivery at 7:30pm through a convenience app. Got a text at 8:19 that the delivery was on its way. At 8:40, called the restaurant and was told driver was already on his way. At 9:40 called to cancel thru app. Called restaurant and they just had excuse after excuse. Was staying at the Doubletree Fort Lee hotel and wanted to order in some pizza. Called this place as the reviews seemed pretty good. I miss the hot antipasto they used to have on the old menu... The thin-crust, perfectly cheesed pizza will make you think you are in Italy! Baggio's has also recently moved to their new location, just 2 doors down from where they used to be and now have a backyard. We ordered a large plain pie, which is $13 on the menu. What came was a white pie with mushrooms and onions, which cost $23. We paid with a credit card over the phone and tipped the delivery guy $6 before we got our food. I called to get the pie I asked for but the owner decided to be rude on the phone saying that there's 10 of them there and they can't be wrong. Basically telling me I ordered the wrong thing. I didn't I asked him plainly to refund the amount he charged and send out what I originally asked for, and he refused. So we're calling the credit card company and writing this review. Congratulations Baggio's, between me and my coworkers, we order from you guys at least once a week and I'm making sure that none of us will order from you guys. And btw, we work in a residential building and we'll make sure to give our honest opinion if anyone asks about your business. I have been a steady customer for about 3 years, but tonight was my last night. The eggplant Parmesan had undercooked eggplant. The tiramisu was drenched in cheap liquor and the delivery boy practically gave us the food upside down and it spilled everywhere! When I contacted them about replacing the sandwich they told me no, it is cooked! How do you know? Did you taste my sandwich, did you sample it? Baggio's has recently moved into a new premise but don't even have a proper website or proper menu printed online. The online menu is the old one and every time I call to order they abruptly tell me that, although they always fail to include a new menu in my delivery order. All in all the food and pizza is good but the customer service is poor. They also completely got my order wrong tonight and I didn't have the energy at the time to call them and tell them b/c again, they just wouldn't seem to care. I have the pleasure of attending Baggios at least once a week with my husband and our two children. My kids are very picky eaters but they absolutely LOVE the food here!! It used to be a lot better, not quite sure what happen with this place. The restaurant is always empty on a weekday and on a weekend. I never had a bad experience with their food. They are actually really good. The sizes for some people that are really hungry and like to eat, this is not the place for them since they will need to order two entrees since one won't be enough, which they are pretty pricey for their size. My favorite local pizza place. The crust is thin and crispy, the pizza is delicious. I would give 5 stars but I find that the pizza can differ depending on who is working that day. For instance, I like a pie with broccoli rabe and garlic, and depending on who is making it, you get either chucks, slices, or no garlic at all. The broccoli rabe amount also can vary. It is very intimate, very personal, good food (I personally love the pasta primavera and my mother loves the eggplant parm) and best of all--good service, which is very important to me. One of the best thin crust pizza around here. They moved to a new location, 2 doors down, little while ago. But their pizza didn't change.
