Zerorez came to my house to clean the carpet on Monday about 0900. I heard water dripping down from my downstairs shower about 450pm, hours after the technician left the location. I called the technician twice but no answer. I immediately ran upstairs and noticed that my kids bathroom was flooded. I immediately placed about 10 towels to soak up the water and plunged the toilet. About 30 minutes later the water that was dripping through the light in the downstairs shower started to slow down. I called Zerorez and told them that I had no knowledge of the technician using my upstairs restroom. He clogged the toilet which made the toilet overflow and tons of water in the upstairs bathroom dripping through the light in the downstairs shower. It's Friday evening and Zerorez management has yet to return my Six phone calls about the situation. The receptionist told me that the kids may have done it or I have a bad float in the bathroom. I told them my kids have been gone from 0730 to 430pm and if it was the float I would have heard the water running. I told them my floats were replaced in 2025 in all my bathrooms. I called two plumbers who both stated floats don't make your toilet to overflow; it continues to run causing your water bill to be high. Both plumbers said the only way the toilet will overflow is if its clogged and the water goes out the toilet onto the floor. Zerorez Management hasn't done anything, and the receptionist keeps stating that management says I have a bad float. I continue to tell them my floats were replaced in 2025 and the plumber's said floats don't cause your toilet to overflow. The only things that causes your toilets to overflow is if something is clogging the toilet or stopping the water to go down. These are the pictures that I sent Zerorez but nothing from management as of yet. Don't use Zerorez if you want you want to trust someone to be honest this is not the place. You'll be disappointed. The only time Zerorez was concerned about was when they were trying to get my business, I received two emais, phone calls and texts daily until they arrived. I give Zerorez 0 out of 0 stars. If you want someone trustworthy, honest or reliable DON'T USE ZEROREZ. read more

The quality of Zerorez's cleaning technology is very good. Unfortunately, their pricing and advertising practices leave a lot to be desired--and are the reason I can't recommend them. We admittedly have a lot of stairs in our home: 30, to be exact. Zerorez normally charges around $5 per stair, so when we received an advertisement offering two rooms for $149 plus "FREE STAIRS," we jumped at it. Great deal, right? Not quite. After contacting Zerorez to book the service--because, suspiciously, the advertised offer wasn't even available on their website--we learned that "FREE STAIRS" apparently means up to 15 stairs. The other 15? Those would cost extra. Here's the problem: the 15-stair limit was nowhere to be found in the promotional email. No asterisk. No fine print. No "up to 15 stairs." Just "FREE STAIRS." So Zerorez quite literally pulled the rug out from under us. (Sorry, that one was too easy.) If your promotion has a significant limitation, disclose it in the promotion. Advertising "free stairs" and only revealing after a customer contacts you that half of their stairs may not qualify feels remarkably close to classic bait-and-switch marketing. It's particularly frustrating because Zerorez does a good job cleaning carpets. They shouldn't need these kinds of pricing games to get customers through the door. Good cleaning technology. If I could give zero stars, I would. We contacted Zerorez regarding a deal that we could get 3 rooms and a hallway cleaned for $129. We have a larger basement living room and two bedrooms that needed carpet cleaning from pet urine. The rep walked the house with us and then let us know that the cleaning would actually be $700! $700! No where close to the $129 that was advertised. When we approached him out at his van where he was getting supplies to talk about the price, we were met with an extremely nasty attitude and the rep stating 'Then you shouldn't let your dogs pee on your carpet'. And then stated 'And it's actually going to be $800 since you have bigger dogs.' How the size of the dog has any impact on any quote is absurd. We immediately cancelled the service on the spot. This company is a fraud! They lure you in with a 'good price' and then charge over 5 times the price! Beware to anyone looking to use this company. read more

Horrible experience. We used to use ZeroRez for carpet cleaning before but after this last experience they will never be welcome in our home again. Where to even start! The worst part of this whole experience was Joe selling us on a UV light to put above our AC coils. He said our coils smelled moist. I have heard great things about UV lights and said okay, sure. I briefly looked up information about UV lights and asked him if this unit needed a shield so the heat would not impact anything around it. He said he never heard of that before and said no, it's fine. This is where I should have said NO. So he installs the unit (after pitching me that he installed one in their home for their new born baby who was having allergies) Anyway, after installation, a few weeks go by. Then we start getting this HORRID smell coming from our vents. I hired an HVAC professional to come look and as you will see in the photos, Joe put the UV light (that had no shielding) right next to the duct tape which will literally start melting after being exposed to very high heat. You need to put the UV light at least 3 feet away from anything it could impact and you need a shield. The HVAC company I hired to investigate said this was a total rookie mistake. We were literally breathing in TOXIC CHEMICALS due to the incompetence of ZeroRez and we should honestly SUE THEM. The UV light he installed was CHEAP, thus the reason it was only $300.00. The name of the unit was Breathe Clean. I even called the Breathe Clean company to get instructions on installation and the owner would not send it to me. Shady. If you get a UV light, DO NOT allow this company to install it, go with an HVAC professional and get a HALO LED with a shield cover. When I contacted ZeroRez about this, multiple times, I was reassured a manager would contact me. No manager ever contacted me and they just refunded me for the UV light (without even telling me, I noticed on CC card). But I received no phone call back. Most likely because they know this is a HUGE liability issue. Additionally, we have a relatively new house but decided to get our air ducts cleaned after a restoration company brought dirty blowers into our home. Our vents literally look way worse than they did prior to the cleaning. I specifically asked our service tech, Joe, to take before and after photos. He only took before photos. Why didn't he provide after photos? Well, because it looked worse. I also asked their receptionist prior to scheduling a vent cleaning, if they clean the air duct cleaning equipment after each home. She assured me they did. When Joe arrived, I once again asked him this. He said, well your my first house today so that's good and I dump the whip in a bucket. This is disgusting to me and it's pretty evident that they don't properly clean the equipment prior to using it at someone else's home. This leads to cross contamination issues. My advice to anyone reading this, HIRE A COMPANY THAT ACTUALLY CLEANS THEIR EQUIPMENT and specializes in duct cleaning, otherwise you risk adding bacteria, mold spores, dust, dirt into your vents!! Also, we had Joe clean our AC unit and he had to bring his manager out to help. They didn't put the screws in all the way and it was left making this ridiculously loud noise. Sloppy work. The tech was 2 hours late after the company gave us a time frame window, putting them 2 hours outside the time frame we were told. He spent nearly 5 hours in our home cleaning air ducts. They show you pictures after (he forgot to take one of our upstairs bedroom) so I assumed it was a job well done, until I recently looked inside of a vent and found tons of hair, dust, contact lens case and a toy from previous home owners. This vent was clearly not cleaned. This lead me to look inside all the vents which are all still filled with hair, dust, and small items. I'm not sure what Zerorez's standards are but this is not ok, especially for the time it takes and the price tag of $600. I do not feel comfortable having them back in my home as we are having a baby this week, and their only offering is to redo it. We have had our home cleaned this week and do not feel comfortable with workers coming inside after the fact. They offered next week as their last offer, but we will have a newborn. Not sure how that would even work with the noise from the equipment and the fact they have to take up the entire house with machinery. We had to sit outside when they came because of the lack of room in our small home and the noise (totally fine normally, but not with a newborn). We have asked for a refund at this point, which they are not willing to give. We took advantage of an "air duct cleaning special" with them. The job included a furnace cleaning and cost over $800. The job took several hours. Our furnace was not cleaned and the air ducts show residue and dirt remains. For several days after the service we were removing vent tape and general clean up from leftovers of service. Their customer service is to redo the service, noting it may take more than one trip? No! You showed us random pics and assured us our vents were cleaned. We do not want this company's inconveniences again, cleaning up your mess, blowing dirt on our cleaned carpets or touching our new furnace. WE DON'T TRUST THIS SERVICE FROM YOU. I normally don't write reviews, but our recent experience with Zerorez was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others. We scheduled a carpet cleaning and were talked into sending our rug out for a "deep, specialized cleaning" that was supposed to restore it to like-new condition. The representative made it sound essential, and worth the $1,000 cost associated with this special treatment. Against our better judgment, we agreed. What we got back was shockingly bad. The rug was returned looking worse than when it left our house--stiff, discolored, and with new uneven areas that hadn't existed before. When we questioned it, the responses were dismissive and unhelpful. Not once did anyone acknowledge the condition it was returned in or offer a real solution. We paid a premium for what was supposed to be professional care, and instead ended up with a damaged rug and zero accountability. In our experience, the service felt misleading, overpriced, and careless from start to finish. I strongly recommend avoiding their rug cleaning services, especially any upsell that promises a dramatic, high-end result. We certainly didn't get one. read more

I was scheduled for a duct cleaning today and had to call to find out why they had not arrived by the end of the 3 hour window they had scheduled for their arrival. I had spent the previous day prepping my home, per their directions, by removing furniture and items from around all vents plus clearing enough area around our furnace/air conditioning unit for their equipment. When I called, they informed me that their transport vehicle was broken and that they would have to reschedule me for another day. No one could explain why they had not contacted me earlier about the problem. My representative did a wonderful job and was very courteous, kind and 100% professional when talking with him and discussing the job. I wish I remembered his name, he was a great young man. I hired Zerorez on 7/15/2025 to clean 3 rooms, a hallway, and staircase. I clearly explained that several areas had cat urine and needed special attention. Their technician recommended a specific treatment, assuring me it would resolve the issue. Based on that recommendation, I paid $314 for the service. A few days later, the odor became worse--much stronger and more pungent than before they cleaned. When I contacted Zerorez, another technician came out on 7/28 and admitted the first rep used the wrong treatment. He even said, "I would never have had you do that," and that now the correct treatment likely wouldn't work because of the earlier mistake. Despite this, Zerorez refused to stand behind their work and only offered a partial refund of $157--which I did not authorize--or additional treatments at $80 each, with no guarantee. I've tried multiple times to speak with a supervisor (Keegan) but have yet to receive a call back. My wife and I have left several messages and are continually told he's unavailable. Zerorez's mistake has made my issue worse, and they've done nothing to properly make it right. I've filed complaints with the BBB, FTC, and DORA, and I strongly urge others to think twice before using this company. read more

I hired them thinking since they had been around a while certainly they would be able to clean a carpet. What a mistake, one of my rooms smells now like dirt and it had no oder before. They have said I need to replace it but are not offering to pay for it after they ruined it. The other 2 rooms are better after they had to come back twice but not what you would expect after it had been cleaned. I have hired many companies and never Had this issue. They offered me a $30 credit to my account but why would I call them again? Makes no sense, do not use them if you are even considering them move on. read more

No complaints using Zerorez this afternoon. Booked with ease using their website where they want you to be specific with what types of areas you want cleaned. Our tech gave us a call when he was on his way and showed up right at the beginning of our clean window which was really appreciated! We went around the areas to be cleaned with a black light and talked about a few options to spot clean where needed. He was in and out of 3 bedrooms, a hallway and a stair set after about an hour and forty five minutes. $386 total with two areas of spot cleaning ($65 each) and rooms/stairs with landing. The tech was very kind and thorough. Will use again in the future! read more

While I have used you in the past and was very happy, I wasn't pleased with service today. I just needed my living room and one stair case done. The cost was 165.00. How is it more costly than a three room special for 119.00? The three room special included 6 stairs and two other areas. So the living room and what? The rest of the stairs? Nope. No flexibility, no compromise and actually less carpet to clean. No logical explain action as to why the rest of the stairs couldn't be the third area. Just a hard no. I had a good experience with Zerorez. Scheduled online a couple days in advance and the team showed up early on the day of the appointment. They got out the pet stains and discoloration from my carpet with just the basic treatment (I declined the upsell for protector). Carpets look great. The cleaning crew was very courteous and wore booties and protected the floors en route to the carpet, as well as my wall corners. Thank you! read more

Don't use this company for pet odor...complete rip off! They get you booked at a low price then the tech said there were 6 stains he could spot remove and said it definitely would remove the pet odor. $600 later I come back to the house and it smelled worse than before. They did offer to redo but this was a move out clean so in the end my landlord will be charging me again for carpet cleaning out of my deposit. read more

So disappointed. I spent $568 to clean ONE bedroom. Actually I'm horrified. With tip, I dropped nearly $600 on the most aggressive cleaning package because we have a dog. The guy said he used some special "drops," at $50/each and which would address any pet stains/odor. Three days later and the carpet smells as bad as it ever did, if not worse. Complete waste of time and money. I lgot robbed. I could have paid around $125 for a regular cleaning with the same result, or maybe even better. Our pet has not been allowed to go in that room at all so there are definitely no new or fresh stains. I'm astounded that they can charge this much and provide zero positive results. Zerorez should be called Zerorezults. The guy that came was certainly nice enough but man we got taken for a ride. read more

The tech arrives and tells me there is road construction, which is fine, because there is a very large driveway. He claims he can't get past the blocked lane and it sounded like he just did not want to do the job. I called the office and the dispatcher Gregg hung up on me. I would like to say from the time of a estimate I could not have asked for more... They exceeded my expectations. The nice lady I spoke to on the phone was just so pleasant. The price, I thought was more than fare for what I was requesting done. Living room, one bedroom, one office/bedroom and a VERY high traffic area. I was told that the tech would be here between 1-3 pm and didn't miss his appointment with me. Called 25 minutes in advance to let me know he was on his way. The technician was more than pleasant upon arrival, he wore booties so he would not track... When I called to set an appointment I had spoken to the lady about my tile and how much that would cost for my kitchen and entry way. She stated it would have to be looked at which the technician did. He went out of his way and actually took the time to clean a small area to show me how it would look after being cleaned. I have used Zerorez several times in the past and they've always been excellent. Today was not up to the standard that they've always had. I had to ask the tech several times to put on shoe covers. (I had vacuumed very well before my appointment and had cleaned my wood floors). Dirt from outside was repeatedly tracked in. I spent at least 1/2 hour after the appointment was done cleaning up. I will probably look for another provider next time. I did call and talk to someone in the office. The tech that came out was very nice but may have just been in a hurry. I will say right away that I did not get my rugs cleaned by Zerorez. Why? I email them details of the rugs I want cleaned (two are 8x10 and under large furniture). I was given a range of $1.50-3.00 per square foot. That is a large range and can make a big difference in price with my larger rugs. The rep was insistent on setting up an appointment and I told her I needed to get an estimate so I knew exactly how much I was committing to pay. She informed me I could (1) take my rugs to them for an estimate at their location or (2) pay $113 for someone to come to my home and give me an estimate. That is crazy! I have never heard of a company charging that much to get a customer. Needless to day I told them no. So, know even getting an estimate from this company will cost you. read more

I didn't get my carpet cleaned, because Josh at Zerorez gave an honest opinion about the carpet that the tenants destroyed. After pulling out his blacklight and showing me all the dog urine stains he told me what he could do with various treatments, the costs associated with them and their limitations. He helped me come to the conclusion it needs to be replaced rather than cleaned. You don't get more honest than this, and says so much about a person and a business. I will definitely be using Zerorez for my home carpet cleaning and recommend that all people use a service that's as honest as this. read more

Had to pay more than originally estimated- should be by square feet, not by number of rooms. Because depending on the room size according to them you can be charged for two rooms or three if it is a big room. And carpet wetter than expected, didn't see a big difference from other big companies I have used. Should have stuck with the smaller local companies, less money, better job. But have to give points for the service man who came out, very friendly, just following company pricing. read more

Our carpets look great! We have an old dog in a new house and he is not happy. Damien and another tech came out to clean our carpets and did an excellent job. I was told they'd be at our home between 1-3. They arrived at 1! I'm so used to waiting around for hours for services. They really spent the extra time to get out problem spots. This has been the WORST customer service I have ever received - they overcharged me for my services (they charged me for 3 rooms plus stairs but only cleaned 2 rooms plus stairs.) We hired this company to clean a 400 square foot office space, with 4 month old, high quality carpet. They were running late, and since it's such a simple job we didn't think we needed to monitor and left. BIG MISTAKE. We walked in the next morning and our carpet is full of snags.
