    Banana Milk Tea with Boba
    Michelle O.

The combination Banh Mi was thick and fresh. It comes halved and can be quite messy to eat because there's so much filling. The banana milk tea was super sweet and reminds me of syrup, so I recommend halving the sugar. The boba was chewy and plentiful for 50 cents. For takeout, I was in around 12:20 and out by 12:30. The shredded pork had run out by then.

What a wonderful experience! The lady that helped me was so polite and friendly! She helped explain the menu and was suggesting menu items but was not pushy about it. The crispy pork belly is only severed on the weekend so she recommended that and I was like "why not!" If I can only get it on the weekend. We had a great talk about life and all as well. Packaged well for to-go and the flavor was bold and rich. I will definitely be coming back here again! Plenty of seating space and it seems like a new establishment. Very clean and organized.

I had been eyeing this place for a while and finally was able to stop by here and I regret waiting so long! The store was very clean and has some seating for 1- 4 people but I wouldn't suggest coming with a large group as space is limited. Many people had to-go orders and I could tell they have a lot of regulars. My husband and I both got a banh mi and a tea. They bake their own bread and make the sandwiches up front so you can see everything come together. Everything on our sandwiches was very fresh and they do no skimp on anything. The bread is filled to the brim and everything was delicious! While I do enjoy pate this was a little much for my personal taste because they do not skimp, but you can modify sandwiches as you like. The tea was very refreshing and honestly we can't wait to go back. Best banh mi we have had on this side of town!

Far from me but was worth the trip! I see why others love it here! Staff super friendly and the Banh Mi was stuffed and their house made baguette are the best!

This place is near me and this was my first time going. Quick service. Workers are pretty chill. Totally recommend their banh mi. The bread flakey on the outside and soft on the inside. They filled it up with meat, veggies, butter, and pate so you get your moneys worth. The Thai tea was okay tbh..light, not sweet, not much tea flavor.

Today I've discovered my new favorite Vietnamese sandwich place. This place has been on my yelp radar for quite some time. I finally got to try them today and I got three different sandwiches to share and some drinks. Walking into the place you can see their fresh bread that looks like to be made in house, so I understand their prices. This place does not skimp on meat or the veggies and condiments. Judging from the pictures they are consistent with that they serve. They cut it in half for you so I got to try all the sandwiches I gotta say they were all so good and the bread was nice and soft and not hard at all. The meat was tender and flavorful with a good amount not making you desire more. The service and ambiance felt like a quaint mom and pop shop, it was nice and quick service.

Best in Houston, they bake their own bread, fresh ingredients and not stingy with meats.

Always on the quest, for the best banh mi in Houston, this place has been mentioned several times as a solid contender. Unfortunately for me, it isn't on my side of town and far from Chinatown. It's all the way near 249 and the Beltway, amongst a small but growing Asian strip center. Price wise, it's a bit more expensive than your Chinatown banh mi, as that is usually the case. I ordered both the grilled pork and cold cut combo, my two favorites. There wasn't a need to ask them to cut it in half, as it already comes that way, which is nice. The banh mi comes in a styrofoam box, which is new to me. While I appreciate the extra protection, the environmental side of me frowns upon it. The first thing I noticed when preparing myself for a bite, was that the bread was not toasted. It was room temperature and without a flakey crust. Bummer. Good bread is essential to a good banh mi. The filling was delicious though. I love how they smear the pate on both the grilled pork and cold cut combo! The veggies and meat were portioned perfectly and fairly tasty. Best banh mi in Houston? Eh... if they could improve the quality of the bread, perhaps so. I want the crispy golden flakes to make a mess as I bite in. I'm not even sure there was any butter on the bread. Unfortunately it was a slight let down. The drinks looked pretty awesome at a great price, but I'm here strictly for the banh mi.

Came here friday just before noon and there were plenty of parking spaces in the plaza. There were also plenty of seatings inside and it was super clean and welcoming inside. I ordered #1 combination and it was so delicious. The sandwich had a generous portion of meat. The bread had a good balance of softness and crunchiness. The pate spread was the star of the show. It totally made the banh mi exceptional. I also ordered the Vietnamese coffee with boba. The boba was decent for a non dedicated boba shop. The Vietnamese coffee was on the sweeter side, which suits me. The wife was super friendly but the husband needed to work on his customer service. Husband initially did not want to give us tap water, but the wife correted him and gave us water.

I was actually browsing Facebook and saw someone post about this place near me claiming it's a great hidden gem. Good timing since I was craving Banh Mi and thought it would be good for dinner. Location is in a complex on Veterans Memorial near the Beltway. There is such a modge podge of different businesses, it took me a bit to see where this place was in the complex but I was able to find it. There's plenty of parking too. I arrived 30 minutes before closing and felt the service was good. Everything was quick and made to order. I also talked to the couple there for a bit. They both seem friendly. Our whole conversation was in English. The lady was very passionate when talking about the food so I took that as a positive sign. Inside, the place looked clean and modern. There are a few tables inside so folks could eat in too. For food, I ordered two Banh Mi Thit Nuong to go and a Kumquat Tea with Passion Fruit Jelly. I asked for one with the veggie fillings of the Banh Mi's to be kept on the side since that one was for my husband who was planning to eat it a little later than me. I appreciated that the female re-clarified my order. After a 6 minute drive home, I was ready to eat and WOW, the Banh Mi is excellent. It's obvious the bread is fresh. The outside was crunchy. I think I read in another review it's made in house. The filling was tasty and gracious. I was told to definitely keep the Pate in mind since it was made fresh there as well and OMG, I could just eat that with the bread alone. It's buttery and savory. My favorite is it oozes out with every bite. I don't recall pate in any Banh Mi Thit Nuong that I've ordered in the past from other places so I'm not sure if it's bc the lady wanted to make sure I tried it so fyi. The tea was tart and refreshing. It had a bit of a grapefruit like undertone. I had asked for no sugar but thought it had a good sweet taste to it so fyi on that too. The jelly was spot on. It tasted like the usual passion fruit jelly I've had before. I am definitely coming back to this place. Overall, 5 stars. Glad there's a good new Banh Mi spot near me!

Great portions, freshly made bread! Very good meat to bread ratios. Tasted great, meat was tender, fresh veggies, good pate and mayo. Mom and pop shop service was great, they were really friendly

I've been wanting to give this place a try for a minute and finally got there before closing. And I mean barely, diving in the door at 3:53 on Sunday. But even still, I was warmly greeted with a smile & a giggle. Most places would've been like nope not today LOL. Combo is my go-to for bahn mi & so happy I stuck with my gut. As you can see by the pics, there are no skimpy portions going on. The veggies, meats, bread oh my goodness gracious just everything was so fresh. I noticed the roll was crunchy enough but not hard or dry. I'll definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu, including the teas. If you're in the area give this place a try. The price is on point & it won't leave you hungry. Yelp on my friends!

I understood they were having power issues and were operating on a generator. Their tablet system appeared to be working, as I could see my order while placing it. I was making a large order for my coworkers and needed an itemized receipt. When I asked for one, I was told they couldn't provide it due to the power outage. I then asked if they could pull up my order on the tablet so I could take a photo of it, and I was told "yes, one second." However, after my order was ready and I followed up, the staff member seemed irritated and repeated that they couldn't provide a receipt because of the power issue. I clarified that I only needed to take a picture of the order on the screen, which I thought we had already agreed on. I also didn't realize that every add-on they offer comes with an extra charge. For example, when asked what kind of milk I wanted, it wasn't mentioned that 2% milk (which is typically the default) had an upcharge. Additionally, when a soft top was offered for an iced drink, it wasn't disclosed that it was a $1.50 extra charge. This was frustrating, as these add-ons were suggested by staff without clarifying the additional cost. While the issue was eventually resolved, I left feeling unhappy with the overall experience. I did return once afterward, but between the inconsistent beverages and the lack of transparency around pricing, I don't think I'll be coming back.
