Arriving at the restaurant, it was very pleasant from the outside, somewhat of nicer or casual look and feel to it. As we sat down (family) we looked through the menu at an okay selection of food, drinks, appetizers, and desserts. However that was not the case as our waitress informed us (to what she thought was amusing) the incredibly long list of food items the restaurant was out of. This however is not amusing to the consumer as we were immediately contemplating leaving. Nearly one side was not available on all of our entrees. Including a long list of full entrees that was not available for order at all. Very disappointing, which can also go to show you how busy they actually are as a restaurant (meaning they don't stock much because they don't expect much). Even the fountain drinks were depleted! I mean honestly... who doesn't have any potato products... including french fries. My girlfriends entree even lacked green beans... sad. Not to mention the wait staff as well. Which consisted of many younger adults who talked loudly amongst themselves around customers and didn't have an appreciation for a fine dining experience. Our waitress referenced my mother and girlfriend as " honey", "sweetie", and etc. Which in my opinion is bad manners (talking down to your customers). I kind of expected my entree to come out crappy after all this (and not to mention ordering a steak at a primarily seafood restaurant is not a good idea in the first place). But for goodness sake I didn't expect it to be this bad... I ordered a New York Strip (12 oz. $19.49 Choice) at medium rare, only to have it arrive as a well done, lacking flavor and tender. However on an up note, the Mahi Mahi that my mother and girlfriend ordered was relatively good. Not to forget the appetizer as well (Firecracker Shrimp). So there are a few positive notes. However not enough for me to ever consider going back, as the prices do not match the quality at all. I would consider Bahama Breeze on the same level as T.G.I. I forgot this place was still around until my cousin suggested it. We met here for lunch and I remembered why I liked it so much. The ambiance obviously. Bad night. NO gluten free menu. Waitress send a woman over to "guide me" through the menu - and she assures me her father-in-law is Celiac and she knows all about it. No yellow rice, no seasonings on fish or meat, no pasta, she says. Everything else is safe. Order creole shrimp, which she says if fine with mashed potatoes. Sure? YES! Well if the foods were safe, then evidently the KITCHEN doesn't know how to prevent cross-contamination. 30 minutes after eating the hot skin, rash, burning & itching start. 30 minutes after that, the violent stomach issues begin. Food was good, I had a difficult time choosing between couple of entrees and this wasn't the first time here. Our server was bad, our server had a table of 16. So I expected the service to be a bit slow, but it took the server like 10-15 just to get our waters and she forgot the lemon in the water. We asked the server for the lemon again and she said she would bring it. The appetizers were delivered maybe by the manager and we asked her for the lemons and she got it quickly. The manager ended up taking our entrees order and entrees were served to us by the expediter. The sever did come back and check on how was the food. She came back and took our plates, didn't ask if we wanted to dessert or we wanted our check and she disappeared for like 15 min. And I could see her just counting money by the one of the computer. I ate here on a lunch break on a Wednesday. I was craving the chicken tortilla soup and decided to check the online menu before heading in since I had to get back to work. I called ahead and the staff told me business was slow and getting in and out wouldn't be a problem so off I went. I got sat immediately. Clean, refreshing atmosphere. I let the waitress know I was ready to order immediately. The waitress moved very leisurely and I ended up asking another server to check on my soup. He was very courteous and came back with my soup along with my entree. The meal was delicious! I ordered the portobello mushroom and veggie sandwich served on cuban bread with a sauce on the side, similar to an italian dressing. The sandwich came with mushrooms, asparagus, zucchini, spinach, red and green peppers, and melted cheese. The soup was a very light broth, roasted pepper and corn, hearty portions of chicken, avocado, and onion with tortilla strips. Nothing lacking in taste. When the waitress finally caught eye of me (much later) and noticed I already had my food, she came over. I told her everything was delicious and needed a box and the bill. By the time I was finally able to cash out, I hurried off and mistakenly left the delicious portion of food I had remaining. I think their food is great and the lunch menu was moderately priced, but Bahama Breeze can really improve on getting people in and out for lunch. I won't return before dinner again. read more

This place is terrible - we came in with our infant at 2pm and it was not busy - we waited for 20 min for a table (multiple people came in after us and were seated) finally the manager told us we couldn't have our baby in the stroller and had to take her out and put her in a high chair to be seated at a table. We order and got the Rum Raid (very good) and the Spinach Dip and Chips (also very good). He ordered the Steak Oscar and I ordered the Jerk Chicken Pasta. My pasta was very good and filling. However, his steak was atrocious. It was clearly put straight on the middle of the grill and charred on the outside and raw on the inside. The crab meat on top was very dry and stuck together. Went to dinner with a friend on a relatively busy Friday night, but were seated right away. The waitress was friendly, but seemed like she was rushing through the entire meal. She stopped by the table 4 times in the space of 5 minutes to ask if we were ready to order. Once we placed the order, the appetizers arrived promptly. Unfortunately we had barely started eating the appetizer before the main course was put on the table and the waitress started talking about take-out boxes. I have loved Bahama breeze for years. There wood grilled chicken breast has been my favorite food I can think of. Love the atmosphere, loved everything. Over the past year the chicken has been for the most part not edible. More than half the time I order it it is so old and rubbery it's disgusting. It feels like biting into nothing but cartilage. I go maybe twice a month so I have given it chance after chance and after maybe the 6th or 7th time I finally sent my food back and have given up on Bahama breeze. I think they may be holding chicken past the date they are supposed to. Hope it gets fixed but for now me and my friends are done with Bahama breeze. My date and I both got chicken and both were very bad but they only took mine off the bill. Not crazy about that either. read more
