Came to Bahama Breeze, in order to meet up with a friend that I haven't seen for 40 years. We dined at the bar and our server/bartender, Matthew, did a fantastic job throughout the entire meal. My Cocorita (Sauza Silver Tequila, cream of coconut, pineapple and lime juices, and actual delicious pieces of coconut) was AMAZING. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this drink, it was served in a HUGE glass and it hit the spot. We had Bean & Guac Tacos and the Jerk Chicken Pasta. Both entrees were delicious, flavorful, and filling. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This was my first time sitting at Bahama Breeze's bar and I recommend doing the same. Especially, during Happy Hours (Monday-Friday: 4:00PM to 6:00PM and Sunday-Thursday: 9:00PM to 11:00PM).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

First time here, walked in unexpectedly & had a drink. I usually drink wine but decided to get something a lil different this time, so the awesome bartender recommended a bahama mama so that's what I got. It was delish, love the music & the atmosphere here!

My favorite chain restaurant. I love the yuca cheese sticks & pineapple chicken. My boyfriend recently tried the jerk pasta and it was great. It inspired me to make my own at home. I never have leftovers sadly, we always eat everything!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I came to this restaurant with another adult and two kids, and it was very accommodating in providing us a booth for the children.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waiter was kind and patient. There were so many options to choose from of different Caribbean dishes (primarily Jamaican). I loved seeing a chain restaurant with Jamaican food and other popular Caribbean dishes. I ordered the Jamaican stuffed rice bowl with orange juice, which was super super delicious and flavorful with cilantro on top. I highly recommend ordering it . The cocktail list is super expensive. I look forward to coming back with friends for happy hour or a cocktail night. Please keep in mind that the games on the electronic menu have a fee that will be added onto your receipt. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience is family, friendly, and island themed[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This is a review of the Bahama Breeze Happy Hour. Their Happy Hour runs from 4-6pm Mon-Fri and Sunday-Thursday from 9-11pm. This is a mind escape, as well as a restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Colorful Bahama ambiance both outside and inside[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], half-price appetizers, 14 oz. draft beers $3, and their signature Bahama Mama tropical drink.$5. The Bahama Mama is made with coconut rum, banana liqueur, and pineapple & orange juice. They offer firecracker shrimp, coconut shrimp, crab with a 3 cheese dip, beef empanada's and crispy fritters to name some other appetizers offered at half-price. Half price drinks during Happy Hour include: Bahamaritas, Ultimate Pina Colada, Mojito Cubano and Pineapple Coconut Martinis. All these drinks are $5. Their Happy Hour can turn a bad day at the office around.

Decent food. Great service. The dragonfruit margarita was very good. The meat was tender. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No one complained.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]A decent place for a family meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The paella was the only thing that didn't taste as great compared to local restaurants.

Stopped by after some Christmas exchanges/returns and it was a good experience! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was good, food was delicious, the place was spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the beef empanadas for an appetizer, which were very flavorful with a great dipping sauce. The grilled chicken with cilantro crema as my main was very, very flavorful. Loved that it came with plantain chips!

I will say we had two servers one was showing the other how's to become a server and they were both very great. They were up beat and thought we knew what we wanted to order they definitely were able to convince me and my boyfriend to get the pepper shrimp appetizer . That tasted way better than the three cheese crab app we decided to get. The three cheese crab was still good but their recommendation was in fact better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is really nice the food is really good and i love how it is an infusion of all the Caribbean places.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've been here before and is where i got my favorite drink that I order literally everyday "Bahama mama" i decided to show my boyfriend this place and he absolutely loved it.

Bahama Breeze is always a good meal experience with cordial service, and an outstanding personality cook at the Wayne, NJ location. The pop & Caribbean music and pineapple garnish dishes gives a wonderful ambience. Also, the outdoor dining with the beautiful island landscape is my daughter's favorite....enjoy for the price is right!

Bahama Breeze is one of my favorite places to dine...staff is friendly and service is good. Ample parking outside. Inside, the decor makes one feel like being in the Caribbean. The menu is huge from so many options to choose from. Love the spinach dip appetizer...a must have every time I'm here. Other favorites are the shrimp quesadilla and lobster and shrimp pasta. Both are very good. Onion rings are delicious as well. Full bar and a plenty of drinks to choose from - whether in the mood for a magarita, colada, or any of the drink specials. Save room for dessert if you can...or take it to go. Love that one can make reservations online and no long wait than if you come to dine without a reservation.

When we want a quick bite after shopping this is our go to place. The jerk wings are always fantastic. Big wings with lots of flavor. For dinner Sandra had coconut shrimp that were tender and delicious. I had the jerk shrimp. It's a big dish so there is definitely leftovers for tomorrow. Drinks are always good and prices are reasonable. Service is friendly and always pleasant. Enjoy

Good proportions and good service! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is very touristy/chain food adaptable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I liked the open kitchen concept at this location though.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is fairly priced. I really enjoyed the pineapple bowl but I like their shrimp tacos better. The bowl lacked a lil bit of flavor but overall it was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very family friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 8/10

Unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing due to poor service. Our server, a shorter male who I believe was named Ricardo, took our order. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese and yuca fries. After waiting 25 minutes, I asked a staff member serving steak to check on the order, and he agreed. After 45 minutes, I followed up again with another staff member, a woman with reddish hair in a ponytail, and asked her to check with the kitchen. After waiting over an hour with no update, when she passed back, I informed her that I no longer wanted the food, and she acknowledged my request. Throughout this entire time, our server never once checked in on us. When he finally came to the table, I confirmed that my order had been canceled, and he said yes. He then proceeded to tell us that cooking takes time and that we needed to be patient. I dine out regularly and understand reasonable wait times, but the lack of communication and follow-up was unacceptable. The comment made by our server felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially given the circumstances. Overall, this experience did not meet expectations, and I will likely just stick to New York in the future.

My husband put our name in for a party of four and gave his phone number for the text notification but the hostess accidentally entered us as a party of two. Thankfully, the table that was ready was large enough for four but it could have caused an issue. As a note, she remembered and realized she mistyped it and apologized immediately. Our waiter was friendly, though the service had a few hiccups. My chicken quesadilla (which I ordered as my entrée) came out well before everyone else's meals. When boxing leftovers, he asked whether I wanted the sides, sour cream, and salsa included. I said no, but when I opened the container the next day, everything had been packed together anyway. Food: The chicken quesadilla was delicious and generously filled with shredded chicken. Drinks: The frozen strawberry margarita was excellent. It was filled to the brim and stronger than what you typically get at a restaurant. Overall, I'm chalking the service issues up to it being a busy Saturday night. We'd still happily return to Jose Tejas whenever we're in the area.

The chain restaurant has been sinking for years, but what sure doesn't help it stay afloat is the service. Nice and friendly to our faces is all we'll get, especially when a group of over 8+ walk in and they see $$$ eyes for automatic gratuity. 15+ minutes to get drinks. Other tables taken care of in the meantime. The food came out, one order was not the intended order. The server was so persistent that "she pointed to it thats what she pointed to so thats what I rang in" and heavy on that mindset rather than fixing the problem. No repeat backs, our guest just said she wants salmon with baked potato and vegetables. It was a miscommunication, but the way the waitress handled it was crazy coming from someone who has over 12+ years in serving experience. We're not argumentative, and it was a celebration, so one guest barely touched their food as they were just displeased with it. Shrimp with sauce. Is that even the name for it? I had to spoon out at-least a 1 inch layer of oil for it to be even edible. Kitchen managers gave that an ok to be sent to a table? The best thing they have going is the crab legs/boils/lobster tails. The rest is straight trash, followed by 12am low ranked diner style service. I wish we had pics. We all just wanted to go. Our high school grad was happy to have their crab legs. For us adults, it's no go for us on this establishment. As a kid, I loved and cherished this place, sucks that it became this way.
