I would not recommend visiting this location due to the terrible experiences I've had.. During my summer visit, the air conditioning was broken, which should have been a red flag. We were sweating bullets while there and management didn't offer a discount or free desert. However, I decided to give them another chance recently, and unfortunately, my experience was even worse. The wait for a table was over an hour, and the overflowing garbage can at the hostess stand was a disturbing sight. The tables were too close together, making it challenging for us to move around. Our server was initially friendly but became increasingly inattentive and made several mistakes. I wondered if these errors were genuine or intentional. He failed to refill our drinks, clean the table, or accurately process our order. It appeared he prioritized other tables over ours. I noticed the manager similarly neglecting our table while attending to others. When we asked for to-go containers, the server provided small ones when he saw we had a lot of food left.We also had to request a bag. He automatically gave the other tables bags w/o them needing to ask. My father's request for a veteran's discount was overlooked. The server presented the check and departed without addressing our concerns. After waiting for an extended period, I requested the manager's assistance. Although she corrected the discount issue, she failed to apologize or provide any further help. She saw the table was overflowing with dishes and didn't bother to take anything away. I was disappointed withy visit. I ordered a medium filet mignon and it came rare and it has sort of odd taste of spices I didn't expect. I ordered a side of corn and I received a grilled corn on the cob that was just dreadful. They were nice enough to take it off my bill though. We went here for a family dinner and it was great. Our server was very friendly and on top of her game. She took our drink orders right away and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. I ordered the pork chops with seasoned rice and seasoned fries and they were very good. I even took home what was left because they gave me three pork chops and I could only finish one. We stopped in for lunch and I ordered the Chicken Tender Lunch and my husband go the "Longhorn" their biggest steak. I really liked the chicken tenders as they were hand dipped fresh chicken. The tenders had a good crispy crust and I enjoyed them with some honey mustard dipping sauce. We did not have steak this time but ordered the lunch special which is an amazing deal. My mom got the buttermilk chicken sandwich with the shrimp soup and she was very happy with it. I got the burger and it is one of the better burgers I've had and for less than $10 you also get a soup which is very good value. The service was excellent. Did not get to taste any food. The service was lacking and truly shocked by their lack of same. We waited bout 14 minutes for someone to come and take our beverage order and that was an ordeal as I had to go to the host and ask if anyone was going to help us. Someone else came to take our order and then another 9 minutes for our beverages to arrive, then after 11 minutes we place our order for three soups and three ny strips. Literally 28 minutes passed and no soup or anyone checking on us. By this time 53 minutes have been wasted, so I went up to the host booth where everyone was congregating and simply asked for my bill for the drinks as I was leaving. Host came out about 2 minutes after my check request stating nothing is owed. All I can say is that if I am the owner of this establishment, I would have fired all on the spot and get a temp crew. He said it would be ready within 15 minutes of me getting there and I'm still sitting here an hour later. The waitstaff was super nice and friendly. The food was better than I expected as well. I ordered a steak and the lobster tail, which came with a side of rice. The steak, amazing and super juicy with a lot of flavor. The lobster was great. However the rice tasted like it wasn't fully cooked and was hard...needless to say neither one of us finished our side dishes. When I was dining here. Someone throw up all over the carpet. I witnessed it. The employees were very polite about the situation and helped the gentleman ASAP. The police and ambulance arrived saying that he got sick from the seafood because it wasn't cook correctly. I ignored what happened and tried my best to continue on with my meal. We ordered the wild West shrimp for an appetizer, which had decent flavor but was nothing spectacular. I got the filet & salmon while my husband got the prime rib sandwich/ bowl of chili. The filet & salmon were cooked well but bland and portions were very small for a dinner sized entrée. My husband said his sandwich tasted like a bootleg version of a cheesesteak sandwich and the chili tasted like a Wendy's chili. Started off with an appetizer selection of Fried Pickles and since it was a very cold night, I ordered a bowl of the shrimp and lobster chowder. Both were delicious and piping hot. The first problem was that it was overly and uncomfortably warm. The AC was just not able to keep up with the warm temperature outside and the number of people inside. The second problem was that service was SLOW. My husband ordered a beer. The first one was fine. The second one took 20 minutes to get and was warm by the time it got to the table. This place is really good steak for a good price. It may not be as tender as a steak you can get for $50 but this for around $15-20 you'll get the next best thing. I've been here a couple of times and it's really busy is the evening but this time for lunch, it was empty and they had good lunch specials. The steak was really tender and moist and I'm glad I went for the corn since its unlike any I've ever had, with Parmesan and butter on it. We also went for the chocolate stampede dessert.
