I waited almost 30 minutes for three snow cones and was gaslighted by the owner. I came to the drive through with my children. I pulled up in the line. There was only one car in front of me at the menu ordering, and nobody in front of them. I waited nearly 10 minutes. In hindsight, I should've left, but I thought the car in front of me had a really difficult order. After waiting a ridiculously long time, someone on the speaker said hello and took the order of the people in front of me. I eventually got to the speaker. They said, "will be with you in a few minutes." I clarified, "a few minutes?" She said, "yes, we are busy." I finally ordered. When I finally got to the window, I saw there were about 5 customers inside the building. She told me my total. I paid $13, which seemed a bit low for what I ordered. I waited. Eventually she tried to hand me 2 drinks that I didn't order. I said, "that's not my order." She asked me what I ordered. I told her. She disappeared. She came back later, and asked me again what I had ordered. I told her again. She went away. When she came back, she handed me a refund for my $13. She told me she needed my credit card again, that my order was $16. I said, "wow, I've been waiting almost 20 minutes already? You couldn't just let me pay the original amount?" She said, "unfortunately, no." I should have left! But my children wanted their snow-cones and had been waiting so long already! I paid the $16. I waited. We finally got the snow-cones 25-30 minutes after arriving at Bahama Bucks. It doesn't stop here! I pulled into a parking spot now that my children were happy. I immediately emailed this insane interaction to the information provided on the website for this location. The manager/owner Brandon Ruk emailed me that he had reviewed tapes, and I had only waited 12 minutes for my snowcones. He mentioned in the email that they are small business, and he was "sorry my experience didn't meet my expectations." I responded that his gaslighting my experience was on track with the service I received. I responded to him, that he had not taken into account the time waiting to order and then waiting to get my snow cones. He responded again with an apology. He told me he would send me a $10 gift card. Two weeks later, I still never received a $10 gift card. 12 minutes for a snow cone would be way too long. The reality of waiting 30 minutes for a snow cone is unacceptable. The tone of Mr. Ruk's email just reeked of arrogance. I am all for supporting small businesses, but being a small business doesn't give you an excuse to fail so hard at basic customer service. read more

After visiting Bahama Bucks in Frisco this past Saturday, I see why it gets 3 stars. We waited in line for an hour and 10 minutes. We saw the line of cars and thought a 15-20 minute wait would be okay. We got in line at 2:45 with enough time to get to the speaker and order the half price drinks before 3. We got to the speaker just shortly after 3 and ordered snow cones for my granddaughters and me, and an açaí bowl for my husband. We were at the window waiting for over 30 minutes. They couldn't find our order. The service was slow and they didn't seem to know what they were doing. They were serving customers inside before coming to help us. Interaction at the window was intermittent. They served our order 5 minutes apart (4 people). My granddaughters enjoyed their drinks. My snow cone was not good at all--not sweet just full of ice. My husband's bowl was okay. We waited far too long for overpriced drinks. They didn't offer a receipt. Had it not been for my granddaughters, I wouldn't have waited in line more than 15 minutes. There were several cars behind us that left and we determined their drinks were sitting on the counter. That brings up another point. The drinks were made for the cars behind us before ours were made. I'll find another place to get ice cream and snow cones when my granddaughters are visiting. I'll never come back to this restaurant. read more

As a first time experience it was horrible. Right off the bat, the entire inside smelled like rotten milk and vomit which obviously is concerning for a food establishment. On a Wednesday evening we waited 30 mins just for our orders to be incorrect. There was little to no line in the drive-thru and the inside was empty so absolutely no excuse to wait 30 mins for shaved ice... especially if there's 5 workers. We asked for the items to-go (flat top) because the smell inside was horrendously reminiscent of vomit but each item was not made to go. After the first item was given we asked kindly to remember to make them to-go. After 10 mins of waiting for the second item, she handed it not to-go again and no utensils with missing ingredients on top of it all (also no umbrellas picks). For a shaved ice experience yeah I might sound silly but in this day and age finding good customer/food service is terribly difficult. read more

Where to start... No I mean it... when I get there I never know where to start. Fruit smoothies, snow cones, lemonades, slushies, they can add, bomb pops, candy, cream rainbow this and that. All I can say is... it's always a tough decision. The ice for the snow cones is like snow, soft fluffy and just perfect. They even give you the flavors in groups like sour tropical and fruity, etc. I prefer the sours best and Tigers blood is my fav. Great now after writing this review I want to go get a snow cone. We really like this place! We tried it one time to see what it was. We get the Tropical Wavebender redbull drink which is delish! We've had a couple different baby-sized shaved ice, which were very full and plenty for even a preschooler to share! In September they had a scratch-off game that has been fun to play too! Prices may be a little high and the drive through line seems slow, if you can go get your order inside. read more

Really great shaved ice. They have all kinds of flavors: Tigers blood, blue coconut, and strawberry cheesecake; are some of our favorites, in addition they serve fruit based smoothies and ice cream shakes. The thing we love is the cream or condensed milk they put on the shaved ice, it really gives it a great flavor. The baby is the smallest size they have and honestly it's plenty big. Most of the flavors are extremely sweet! Lastly the place is decorated super nice, and has a Tropical vibe. Makes it feel like summer even in the middle of winter! Oh, they have a drive thru! Now that I've moved I've had to find a closer BB..this one was extremely packed Saturday and the line was wrapped around the building twice! Everything with my order was fine. Although, I did decide to try something new and that wasn't the best choice. I love BB though and always get a nice quality beverage from there so this review is more so on the service/location. I used to work for a BB so tbh I kinda always know what to expect in terms of wait times especially with a location like this that's very busy because it's the only one for another 20mins or more lol If you do go to this location just be aware that you may get blocked in the drive thru due to ppl not reading the lovely sign to stop at a certain point so that you can actually exit. I got blocked in & that was slightly annoying. Also it's a smaller BB so keep that in mind too if you maybe want to take a larger group it could be worth it to drive to a location that's a little larger. The staff was very nice however and working very hard. Just be patient with them if busy! Other than that it's great! I love BB and will always be a customer! read more

They close before the closing time it says 10:30 and they close by 9:30. They should be able to close at the time it says on the maps.

Enjoy the variety of options Bahama Buck's provides and the staff is very friendly. I appreciate the service they supplied. However, I would recommend management to determine how to reduce the wait time for 30 minutes when a customer is sitting in the drivers pick up lane. I noticed waiting my time frame of 30 minutes, persons who parked and went inside had faster service than those sitting in their cars. It could be the cars had multiple items compared to the ones inside. If I had the ability to back out and go inside I would have. This was my first time to this location since moving to this area. However, I will need to look for another spot until this issue is resolved. read more

This place is getting 3 stars because when you finally receive your snow cone, it is good. However, I still do not understand how snowcones and ice cream takes so long, each time I have gone the wait is extremely long. I've even tried to go inside to order to see if the wait time would improve ...it was the same long wait. There were 5-6 employees behind the counter and probably 2 of them were working. This is something that needs to improve this location...the line for snowcone/smoothie/ice cream should not be wrapped around the building like it's chick fi la ...you still would get your order faster at Chick-fil-A than here ). Love their product, hate their service. I have been coming to this location for several months and because they hire only young teenage workers, don't expect service to be timely or courteous. Asking for a receipt is even hard for them to produce. My only complaint about their smoothies are that they are not really smoothies. They are just cold drinks and super runny. We went on Sunday 5-15-22 at 5:47PM at 6:22PM we where in the outer of the two lanes barely in front of the store. People who went inside vs drive thru where blocked in. I called and a teenage girl answers and say's " please bare with us this store is run by teenagers we are doing our best" she then began to cry. I told her not her fault and to relax and got off the phone. The owners should be ashamed of themselves! Given the tension in the USA today we did not feel safe blocked in and blocking people in so I hopped the curb and we went to Handles in Little Elm and got great ice cream. Terrible service. My family and I waited almost 15 minutes in line and stopped at the menu board for almost five and no one came on over the speaker for us to order. So we waited and eventually made it up to the window where we were told that our order wasn't taken and we had to go to the back of the line. First, When I received 4/4 of my drinks they had barely any syrup in them. If i'm paying $21 for some snow cones I expect them to come correct. Mind you I ordered 4 smalls and I received 3 smalls and a regular size and I was charged when that was not what I ordered. When I asked if I could have more syrup after looking inside my snow cone (syrup was still not added) and STILL seeing the ice not even touched, the wrong syrup was put in my snow cone. This restaurant is clearly full of children who don't care or know how to do there job and management needs to do something about this before the whole place shuts down. Very disappointed. read more

They hire lazy irresponsible teenagers who had you a cup of ice with no syrup and call it a snow cone, or a smoothie that's just juice, or like today where they repeated my order at the speaker but apparently didn't pit it in the register.
