My husband and I love bahama bucks, but we weren't thrilled with this visit. We went through the drive through, and it we were told our order would be taken shortly. About 4 minutes later we placed our order. Sat in the line for maybe 5 minutes and got to the window. Waited another 5 minutes after while they were making our ice. There were 5 girls working. One remained sitting on her phone the whole time. Two other girls were trying to whip each other with the towels. Two girls were actually working. Had all 5 girls been working it would have been a quick 5 minutes total. But no, more than half of the employees there were busy goofing off, which made the drive through take 15 minutes. Not pleased with this visit because of the employees and their behavior. It's fine to have fun at work, but at appropriate times, not when there is a line in the drive thru. read more

My granddaughter absolutely loves this place and now we know why! My son usually brings her but this time we all went together and it was amazing just how good the shaved ice is here! They're prepared with just the right amount of syrup and there are so many delicious flavors to choose from! My absolute favorites are pineapple and cherry. There are a wide range of sizes to choose from as well. There is even a baby size! We are excited to return again next week so we can try out some new flavors! read more

This is my favorite place to come for dessert. I've been going to Bahama Bucks since I was very little and was happy when they opened up right down the street from me. I would suggest asking for light syrup, because for awhile now it's been way too much. I have been waiting for a long time to come to Bahama Bucks. I was finally in the area and it did not disappoint. I have had shaved ice from the motherland and this is pretty close to Hawaiian Shaved Ice. I must say, the menu is slightly chaotic. I took me awhile to figure out that they offer more then just shaved ice. There is also a ton of flavor choices. I appreciated the fact that they had some suggested flavor combos. I was behind a family sampling almost every flavor, so I had a lot of time to figure out what I wanted to order. I could tell that the employees are used to people sampling a ton and they were all patient. Once I got my order, it was the perfect ratio of syrup to ice. My toddler who does not like cold things or sweets, loved the shaved ice at Bahama Bucks. As the weather starts to warm up, I can see myself finding a way to be in the neighborhood. read more

This is a solid dessert place. I feel like the shaved ice isn't quite as soft and fluffy as I like (i suppose I like it a little more air in my Hawaiian shaved ice) but the flavors are awesomely tasty! I think the texture is a little more "wet" and "dense". That's not to say I won't absolutely devour the thing because it is still great! but I suppose it doesn't have that lightness in texture that I've come to expect when seeking out this kind of dessert. My gf seems to like this place better than my favorite though... so all depends on your preference :-) read more

They have every flavor possible ..... Even chocolate ! I rarely stray from my norm of banana and blue bubblegum tho. It reminds me of being a kid on vacation in Hawaii . The drive thru is a bit slow. I had 3 cars ahead of me and it took close to 15 minutes. Sadly they didn't have large orders so I was lost for an excuse. The ice itself is very soft and fluffy. Went there today with my girlfriend, she wanted a ice thing from the drive thru. I don't eat the sugary garbage they serve. We placed the order in the drive thru, there was one car ahead of us and an empty restaurant. Must have waited 10 minutes, once we pull up the order still had not been made. 3 high school aged kids were "working", standing around talking, checking their phones. I asked the guy at the window what took so long and he said "my bad man". That's not an answer man! We paid with cash, and accidentally short changed him a dime and he didn't even notice. Man this place is the bomb for some shaved ice, never had been to this place, driven by it many times, about 3 months ago, my daughter Adrianna was head to "Bahama Bucks" and ask if I would like something from there, didn't know what it was, until she gave me the scoop. I'll take a large cherry. That was a mistake, "IN A GOOD WAY" I now go 2-3 times a week and get the "AVALANCHE" I'm hooked. Great customer service, very helpful with flavors, very nice and polite employees. They do have ice cream, floats etc., I'm hooked with shaved ice, lots of flavors to pick from, or you can get up to 4 different flavors with your order. Great job to Bahama Bucks. I always come here with my friend and he gets exceptional service. But, whenever I come in with him and I order, they don't act the same. They always punch a card for him and know exactly the order he wants but they don't even offer to give me a punch card until I actually give them mine. Bahama Bucks at Cooper and Warner is our favorite shaved ice ever. The way they shave their ice makes it smooth and fluffy and it melts in your mouth.
