Ice & drinks were good but service is poor. This is a relatively new location and the workers are not yet up to par. Took forever for them to take my order and even longer to receive my food. Watching them work was also very chaotic. They messed my order up (twice...). Hopefully with time they will sort out the bugs and get this place running more smoothly. Nice, clean store. read more

Honestly, this shaved ice place isn't that great. It is great to try, but I probably won't go back. The store is nice and clean and the workers are nice and friendly. It has a beachy hawaiian theme, but the shaved ice is not good. The ice is good, but the flavors taste artificial and bad. In Hawaii, the shaved ice is usually fresh and made from scratch, the shaved ice here is a want-to-be shaved ice place. I probably wouldn't recommend this place to other people. If you do decide to come here though, I would recommend getting the smallest size "baby" because the size "small" was too big for me. read more

The worst branch. I dont know how they make they shaved ice, but they prepare it really different from other Bahama Buck's branch or maybe it depends on who's working. Went to this place twice to give it a chance, but both times was disappointing. I recommend going to power rd or mesa dr branch, they make the best bahama buck's shaved ice, or anywhere except this one. read more

Love their drinks. Service is the slowest drive through of anyplace. It usually takes 10 minutes to make one smoothie!! I realize other customers may be inside but every time I go here I have to allow 10 minutes or more extra time just for their super slow service read more

2 stars, but only because the product tastes good, not for the service. Yet, I still find myself coming back for more..of the product, not the lack of service. I frequently receive the wrong order, (I've only used the drive-thru) just to avoid "being THAT Customer" I choose to simply let it go and allow the cars behind me to receive their orders quicker. This recent time I purposely waited before pulling up to the Menu/Speaker to allow the workers inside to catch up with the couple of cars ahead of me. This way they weren't scrambling or in panic - mode when listening to or making our order. Less chance of making a mistake or hearing the wrong thing. I turn my vehicle off and slowly, clearly began naming off each one and its respective size, you get the idea. I pull up to the window and somehow they read the order back to me and low and behold it was still wrong. So again, I have to repeat my order. The guy, was hard to understand himself (No offense). 50/50 chance of a good Product. It depends on who is working. On a good day its a 5 star most days a 1 or 2 star. Today i ended up with 70% white ice and 30% light dark cherry flavor. Completely Trash. My dogs would not eat it but at $8 iy cooled their water off. On s good day with the right person you get an smazing product. Today was trash. read more

The most disappointing location by far. Waiting 45 minutes in the drive through only to be given a smoothie that was clearly left on the counter to melt and a shave ice with little to no flavoring is ridiculous. the continuous lack of customer service is straight up disgusting seeing as how much feedback is given. We came back on a few occasions for the drive through, that being it's only redeeming quality but it's not even worth it anymore. read more

Worst one yet I went here and order a strawberry daiquiri ice with pineapple didn't receive it instead I got something I completely didn't order also I order a ice cream bowl with fruit in it and it was melted as if it was sitting on the counter I also order a watermelon lemonade and completely didn't get that but was charged for 3 cups and a bowl the only thing that was right on the order was the ice cup I order for my son that's the Only thing they got right read more

Store needs to update their current hours of operation online. They're hours are listed in multiple places as 11am- 11pm yet they have a sign at the store saying 1pm-10pm. As a business a little due diligence goes a long ways for their clientele. read more

This is one of our favorite desert places to go to as a family. Their shaved ice is done so well that it just melts in your mouth. There is very rarely a crunch to it that you will find in other snow cone type of places. They offer many different flavors that you can mix and match and even get it Bahama Rama mama style by adding ice cream. If you are in the East Valley you need to check this place out, especially if you have kids. read more

This Location was very slow,run down, and all around not very clean. This lady was totally rude to me when I tried to order I think her name was Arlene? I believe she was the manager. Well.. after a few disappointing visits, tonight was the one that has led me to write this review. I waited almost 30 minutes for ordering only 5 shaved ice. Not only was the time ridiculous, my order was not right. They completely got my order wrong, none of the shaved ice were right. I asked for the shaved ice to be flat top, but instead I got them in the original cup size but flat top. Along with that, they weren't even filled to the top. If you want shaved ice, go to the southern location. read more

I went here on recommendation from a local and went with low expectations but I was so pleasantly surprised I came back for a second time on our 3 day trip to Mesa. FOOD: I ordered the baby size of the Banana Colada with Cream and loved it! Husband got passion fruit and he enjoyed his too. The ice is so light and it was the perfect amount of flavoring, my ice didn't melt at all! The second trip I went back the girl wasn't very friendly and poured waaaay too much syrup, I couldn't finish it. I'd suggest asking light syrup if you have to bank on it being inconsistent. SERVICE: Seems like it's all high school students working there. Takes a long time to make these but they do freshly shave the ice as you order. Store was really clean and lots of tables to sit and enjoy your treat and looked like there were table games you could borrow and play with. TIPS: I'd recommend just getting the baby size, it's enough for an afternoon treat. Always get cream! read more

Just went there with my husband and kids and we waited for over 40 minutes. While we waited (mind you we never actually got our shaved ice) we saw at least 4 people ask for refunds. By the time we asked for our money back there were alot of angry people. At one point there were only 2 people in the kitchen while the rest were in the back. Side note there was absolutely no toilet paper in the bathrooms (yes plural) we definitely aren't going to that Bahamas again. OH and one more thing. None of the employees seemed to actually get along. Alot of bitching behind the scenes. read more

Ordered a small acai bowl. They charged $8.99 each which is a LOT of money for what we received. It was served in a small clear plastic bowl (not the Styrofoam like previously). They were about 1/2 the size that they were previously - before they offered 2 sizes. We used to buy the acai bowls frequently. The frozen blended acai was on the bottom and it was topped with miniscule amounts of granola, shaved coconut, and bananas. No strawberries or other fruit. They raised their prices and cut back on the serving sizes. We will not be returning to Bahama Bucks! read more

Bahama bucks never fails to get our order wrong. One time I went with my buy one get one coupon and they took my coupon but still charged me for two? Make it make sense. I ordered a simple shaved ice and I somehow got a Bahama Rama mama which up charged me about $4. The workers always seem like their only customers are an inconvenience to them. read more

We had one here for a Fund raiser for my sons school. Nice atmosphere. Te Employees were nice. Games to play while you enjoy your treat. love the decorations Feels like you're at the beach. Only thing I would have to say is,the employees are young and have a tendency to group up and talk. It took me a few times, moving around the counter to get their attention for a lid But other than that, it was great. read more

I'm at Bahama Buck's with my best friends from high school, which has basically always been our little meeting spot,,,, so this already felt nostalgic. I also worked at a Bahama Buck's almost a decade ago!!! & it genuinely made me so happy to see that the employees are still some of the nicest people on earth lol HUGE shoutout to Laine, Paige, and Ben!! they were SO friendly, everything was super clean, service was fast, & they really went above and beyond for us. they even made mine exactly the way I used to make it for myself when I worked there, & somehow nobody else has ever nailed it quite like they did. such a small thing, but it honestly made my whole trip. great service, great shaved ice, and all the nostalgia 10/10 read more

We love this place! Best shaved ice.. not little chunks of ice and a puddle of syrup.. ice is shaved so small that it's creamy. So many flavors to choose from and smoothies are good as well. I went a few days ago with my daughter and we were very satisfied with our visit. The girl working, Marisa, was by herself and she still had our snocones out quick. She was very patient and understanding when taking our order. She recommended the sugar cookie with cinnamon sugar and it was so good. The store was also clean, not super crowded either. They served us melted shaved ice. we had to wait a LONG AMOUNT OF OUR TIME for our shaved ice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The taller worker looked at me several times as if I was supposed to make my presence known. I stood there for another 3 minutes while this worker kept looking at me, then when I thought was coming to take my order, she grabbed a sponge and started wiping up her work space. Not even as so much as a "someone will be with you in a moment". She kept on cleaning up as she periodically scanned my way to see if I was still there or going to say something. Clarke's finally came over and took my order. She didn't give me a greeting but she was nice. I can't say that for whoever was working with her. She definitely needs a course on customer relations for sure. I'd rather go out of my way to the one on Val Vista and Williamsfield if this is how they are going to treat their patrons. It may be substituted for apple pear strawberry mango juice blend in some stores and may contain passion fruit juice. The ingredients were blended finely so it was a smooth drink with no chunks. Just as I like it. I didn't feel like I could taste any other flavors besides the mango and no texture besides the powder and mango fibers. Sometimes mango has fibers in the fruit.
