Oh my gosh, I think I startled the girl when I told her that my snow cone was ridiculous. I had no other adjective to describe how ridiculously good and on point her suggestion was for a craving. I really didn't understand. Lol I ordered a white coconut and cherry Coke, with light flavor and she suggested I add cream, there will never be another snow cone for me. This is my new favorite dessert. And, they offer açai bowls, yogurt, bowls, and real fruit smoothies now! It's been quite a while since I visited a Bahama bucks, but the piña colada smoothie was absolutely amazing. It's obviously not like a smoothie you would get from Hawaii, just to be super clear, but the fruit is fresh and ripe, it is well blended, and I don't think they add any sweetener because it was very good. read more

I grew up in Hawaii where shave ice is a big deal, and Bahama Bucks is the only place I've found in Arizona that truly replicates my experience with the treat back home. The ice is so soft and shaved so finely that it melts in your mouth. I go to Bahama bucks every other day for my same order. Granted I have a favorite location where they know me and my order. They are always very friendly and accommodating. But I happened to be working in mesa and I seen this location was less than a mile from my job so I decided to pop in. I expected the same service I always get when I visit my Laveen location but unfortunately I did not. So I get Everest with Piccadilly with chili salt on the side which has NEVER been a problem because that is free and included in the Piccadilly. So I asked for some chili salt on side and instead of inquiring what I meant I was immediately met with no that's a waste of product, I then explained to him I am regular customer at Bahama bucks and I get the same order every time and it's NEVER been an issues. And he had all these reasons why he couldn't do it. First it was the cost of the cup then it was waste of product then it was he's only allowed to give this much then he offered to put more on top to which I explained I put it on which I'm eating it. He then help up a cup of how much he could give and I said that's about how much they give. He then said "oh I can do that, I thought you wanted me to fill the entire cup up" and I responded absolutely not but nor did you ask me how much. He just seemed to want to say no or find a reason why he didn't want to do that. And I had already tipped them but I so regret giving the tip because I felt like I had to beg and barter to get my order that I always get. So much so that I'm writing and review because I'm headed to Bahama bucks now and I remember my last visit and how crappy it was read more
