Horrible experience with BAI Connect. I switched to BAI connect due to its popular in my apartment. I got a special promotion for $49.99 a month, but I realized I was overcharged with $68.51 each month for the last five months. I tried to contact accounting department for multiple times without any response. They dont have any website for you to manage your billing information, just have to manually call in each time. If you leave voicemail, no one will return your call as well. Btw they don't offer any receipt for their monthly charge. ( I don't know if that's even legal) Please pick another Internet company that's more responsive if possible. read more

Got a message from our apartment complex that our internet was switching. We had the choice to stay or go elsewhere with our services! Yusef was the gentleman who picked up our phone call, and helped us along the way! He is not only very knowledgeable, but took his time to explain everything that was happening and guide us to make sure we were all set up! I have to say, this is one of the best internet companies I have ever worked with! First, when transferring from one place to another, it was so seamless and their customer service was amazing. Also, their prices were recently adjusted, so that I paid about 6$ more for about 300 up and 300 down. My building in KTown uses Bai Connect for internet and I needed to call today to get things set up. For some reason, I always dread calling utility companies but had such a seamless call today. I've been a customer of BAI Connect for over 4 years, and I can confidently say I've never had better internet service at any other building in LA. Their fiber internet is consistently reliable. In all these years, I've only experienced 2 outages, both of which were due to power outages in the building, not the service itself. Recently, I decided to upgrade to the 500x500 Mbps plan. The process was seamless, thanks to Johana. She was incredibly helpful and made the entire experience effortless. I've been a customer for 10 years. They've always been really responsive and helpful. You will always get a person on the phone and hardly spend any time on hold, while they help you out. The service people are on time with installs and folks are very nice there if you ever have an outage. I've recommended them to everyone in my neighborhood and had them install most units in my building and most of the neighboring lofts through my recommendations because they're so much better than the cable companies. This was previously AerioConnect. The service is just as bad as before the name change, if not worse. We have WiFi for our entire building downtown LA and the service often just stops working. My neighbors have been calling for over a week and they won't send out anyone with them paying. One was told to get an ether cable! One called and one finally got put on hold for an hour when she threatened to cancel the service for the whole building. A customer shouldn't have to do that to get service. Still the wifi is down. And the company o assume has another service where they don't cRe about their wifi customers! Just get Spectrum. read more

Setup was awesome with these guys, except for some miscommunication. When I called to get new service, it was a holiday and I asked if the techs would be off for the holiday, they said no. Then they called me a week before install to say in fact the service techs would be off and we needed to move my appointment. Lucky for me, in my case, that wasn't an issue. Juan Gaytan was my installer and he was early, fast and super understanding when I asked if he had shoe covers cause I have carpet/rugs. He had me up and running quickly, helped me setup the app, etc. Since having the service, I have had some issues with my phone connecting and some lag. I do VERY basic stuff (scroll, wfh, and occasionally stream a show or movie, no games, so I don't think I should have any lag, but it hasn't been super frustrating, yet, so I only dropped the rating by one star. I have had a wonderful experience with BAI connect. The sign on process was as easy as could be, and they were out to install my internet the next day. We just moved into our apartment and things are a but messy, but the service tech, Juan Gaytan, couldn't have been more friendly, patient and professional. I also have a big dog who was crated during his visit, but made sure Juan knew how loud he can be Fortunately he calmed down after a few minutes after realizing he wasn't a threat. I am very happy with my experience at this company because of their value and affordability and also because of the professionalism of Juan Gaytan, the service technician who installed the internet in my home and helped me set up the easy-to-navigate app on my phone. I recently discovered that my apartment's internet provider has recently switched to this company. Ever since the switch, this service has been unreliable, unprofessional and extremely disorganized. I am having the worst experience with WIFI, with recent "environment outage" thats on going with several apartment complexes around my area, if a service provider can't handle some"rain" then how do you expect to run a business? It's been more than 60 hours since the outage and I am having TROUBLE since I work from home. I called the line and they simply think that setting up a voice recording that "there is an outage" would solve this issue, because I wanted to call a representative and they just hung up. I am absolutely frustrated and stressed out since it's the holidays-- are we expecting to keep this outage till the end of the year? If you are thinking about taking this service non-commercially then i highly suggest you switch your mind. Do your research and listen to others who write this review. I will keep this review up regardless BAI fixes this "outage" because they need to learn how to take their customers seriously. ***UPDATE*** I called the. up again and they had "updated their voicemail", the message was along the lines: "A rapid fire occurring at a distribution point" According to their Yelp Page, they seem to advertise themselves with a 24/7 NOC service, yet no one was able to catch the smell of smoke during the weekends? Aren't weekends included in 24/7 hours? Looks like a result of poor management to me. Unless there are transparency behind this issue, I will leave my negative review up here until a. your customers receive a real appropriate response to your poor management / service. Some people have been drastically impacted by this issue and demand financial aid in return. b. A real response from the manager / CEO of this company that involves an apology WITH a statement of improvement for future causes like this. For the representatives in customer service, I respect the frustration you are receiving from your customers. But it's the leaders of this company who need to stand up and act. 3 day outage is not a backyard-problem, this is an embarrassment. ***2nd Update*** WOW! The person who manages their yelp page literally COPIED and PASTE the SAME message to everyone who has been complaining regarding this outage problem.
