This place is a vibe lol. We were lucky and got a table right away on a Saturday evening. Customer service was awesome. They were very accommodating and checked on us a couple times. Highly recommend the tom kha soup. We got the hot pot size which was a couple dollars more but plenty for my group. I had leftovers enough for two more days lol. They were very generous with the chicken and mushrooms too. The soup was creamy and had a strong sweet/ sour flavoring. Crispy garlic chicken flavor was also delicious, tasted similar to fish sauce chicken wings. I liked the dry basil too. The only thing was the chicken was too dry and chewy. Pad Thai and papaya salad was good. Everything was 2 stars for spice but I did think papaya salad was a tad bit spicier. Mango sticky rice was alright. Mango was ripe but coconut sauce was too sweet. Thai iced tea was also too sweet. I loved that they were accommodating and made my Thai iced tea non-dairy by replacing it with coconut creamer. Overall, delicious food and great service! I've been to their Tukwila location before and had amazing experiences at both locations. They have a bar here with fun drinks too so I might be back to try it. I recently visited Bai Tong with three coworkers and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. When my meal arrived, it was not what I expected based on the menu description, so I politely asked if it could be sent back. The staff initially took it back without issue. Shortly after, one of my coworkers found a hair in her Pad Thai. She mentioned that the dish itself tasted very good and simply asked if it could be remade. Another coworker's meal was also not prepared as described on the menu, so she requested a different dish. Instead of working with us to resolve these concerns, our waiter returned and informed us that the Pad Thai would not be remade and ultimately refused service to our table. We were surprised by this response, as we remained respectful throughout the interaction and were only asking for issues with our meals to be corrected. To make matters worse, after refusing service, our waitress largely avoided our table for an extended period of time. We were trying to pay our bill and leave, but it felt as though we were being ignored. During this time, she spent several minutes engaged in conversation with another customer about topics unrelated to menu items or taking their order, while we continued waiting for assistance. Whether intentional or not, it gave the impression that helping our table was no longer a priority. We understand that mistakes can happen in any restaurant. Orders can be incorrect, and issues can arise from time to time. However, customer service is defined by how those situations are handled. Unfortunately, we left feeling unwelcome, frustrated, and disappointed by both the response to our concerns and the lack of attention afterward. read more

What a new gem I have discovered! Came here for my cousins birthday dinner and had the most fun cocktail experience - not only was the drink delicious, it came with nerd clusters and airheads sour belt and fresh watermelon. 10/10 and worth the $22. I unfortunately forgot the name but they have all their pride drinks on an iPad with pictures and descriptions. I also had their crab wontons and crispy garlic chicken, which was delicious. The crispy garlic chicken is probably a good pound worth of chicken so it's a great bang for your buck and a meal to share or have plenty of leftovers. While my family and I visited my best friends in Seattle, they recommended this Thai restaurant since it's not only delicious but also had a Harry Potter theme last they came. Sadly the theme's time had already expired. But they were still some drinks they were still making while they were transitioning to the next theme. I am typically allergic to alcohol but as a seasoned Pot head, I had to indulge. I landed on the Avada Kedavra. It had a delicious raspberry base topped with some fresh fruit. A dry ice cube placed inside gave off the perfect spooky vibes. The drink was accompanied by an adorable chocolate snitch stacked on top of jelly beans. The other show stopper was the mango sticky rice. The mango was perfectly cut and was perfectly ripe. Rice was cohesive and spongy without being stodgy. And the coconut sauce was not too runny and sweet. Service overall was average. Price is higher than similar Thai restaurants but everything we had was very good. I dont think I have had drinks with this much flair anywhere I have been. For the halloween season they had a myriad of extravagant drinks that had a variety of decorations. Mine had a Wednesday painting and easel while someone else had theirs nestled in its own wood structure with seasonal decorations. The drink itself was great as well. The coffee was smooth and rich and it even came with a bonus drink I wasnt expecting. I got a sampler option that came with a coconut soup, vegetarian stir fry and dessert. Surprisingly the coconut soup was what stood out. Usually I am not a big fan of those but the sweetness worked well with the veggies without overwhelming it. I had the opportunity to attend the Elite All Star dinner at Bai Tong Street Cafe. First time at this place and was I impressed the moment I arrived. It was such a big classy restaurant. Lots of tables to fit any party size. Food is great. I sampled the Thai Hainanese chicken rice and pork satay. Got to taste the spareribs, massaman curry with beef and cashew chicken. We stopped by on a Monday to have dinner after seeing some pretty great reviews on Yelp. Our waitress was very kind and helpful, and very quick to get our order. There's currently a special of different types of chicken and rice, which we tried and was delicious! The pad kee mao was also tasty-- it comes with broccoli and some bell peppers along with a protein. I felt the flat noodles and sauce were cooked perfectly and incredibly flavorful. I went with spice level 2 and it was perfect-- and I usually love spicy food! I found out about this place when I was invited as a yelp elite all star to dine here for a party for only stars. We had such a fun time back in September. Kay the GM said that I should come back to celebrate my birthday because they'll celebrate big. So I turned 62 on December 17th, had reservations for four. My husband and daughters took me there for my birthday. I knew what to expect as fat as amazing food and drinks, but my family didn't know what to expect. The place was all decorated so festively for Christmas. Everyone wearing a Christmas sweater. As soon as we got the drink menu my daughters were so excited to see what specialty drink were for the holidays. We mainly got mocktails because none of us really drinks, my husband just got a mule. But to see the drink we got you'd have to see the photos I posted because it's not easy to explain these spectacular spectacle of drinks we ordered. Then came the food. From the appetizers, to our main dishes. Everything came out hot with great presentations. At first we sat at a large table which was perfect for our larger than life drinks but we were really cold. We were glad we had early reservations because due to weather, and flooding around the place was pretty empty until later in the evening. So we were able to move to a warmer part of the restaurant. This bai tong is actually larger than their sister restaurant in tukwila, and their other sister place downtown Seattle called Noi Thai(not sure I spelled that correctly). This place is much more fun than the other two. Although the original in Tukwila has some different menu, it's just not easy to get in. I think if more people knew about this location it would be difficult to get in as well. Only downside to this location is parking. It took my husband a good 15 minutes to find parking. I can't imagine how the people who came to dine later would find parking when the late diners come around with lots of places to visit around this area. What put this place over the top was the service. Each one working greeted us, from the person taking our drink orders, to the one taking our meal orders, to even the ones clearing our table. My daughters said the best part of the night was when the whole staff came out to celebrate my birthday. Dessert, sparklers, singing with music, banners, ending with a massive confetti spread. My daughter forgot to press record so I didn't get to see what was happening behinds me, but at least I got 11 seconds on what was happening in front of me. Now that's a party!! Unfortunately for me Kay was on vacation so she didn't get to experience her awesome staff celebrate me turning 62. But fortunately for her she gets to go on vacation since she hasn't been in such a long time. I know it was close to an hour drive for us to get to downtown, but I'll always come back! Let's support our local businesses because I heard a lot of the ones in the ID will be closing down. Let's keep this Bai Tong open for a long time. They really do it up all year long. One of my favorite Thai restaurants in the Seattle area! Got the chance to stop in here with my fiancé before a show in the area, and it was delicious as always. I've been here before but this was his first time and he's now a fan! First off, love how it's always decorated fun in here. They clearly did some sort of Taylor Swift event recently because there was a bunch of fun, pink decor along with a lot of "Swiftie" touches throughout the restaurant. We came for an earlyish dinner around 4pm on a Wednesday and it was a ghost town. We were thankful that we didn't have to wait a long time and the service was on point! I forget our waitresses name (it started with a J) but she was so dang sweet. We started with a round of tequila shots and a beer (gotta pregame that concert) and we were happy to have been given happy hour prices. We also ordered an order of the crab rangoons (because duh) and those were delicious. I know crab rangoons HATE to see us coming because we demolished them. For my entree I went with the penang curry with beef. I almost opted for the yellow curry but our waitress chose the penang curry for me. So good! Three stars was the perfect kick on spice for me and the meat was tender and flavorful. The curry itself was also so good. My fiancé got the crispy garlic chicken and he was impressed. The abundance of great thai food options in Seattle makes me so happy. This is another great option for a fun event or even a more pricey casual dinner. We came here for my friends birthday as a party of 10 with a reservation. They weren't too busy on a Sunday night, so we would have been fine without the res. Our server was very quiet and she skipped me when it was time to order, but there were a lot of us so I don't blame her. All the food was exactly what you would expect it to taste like. We ordered spring rolls and crab rangoons to share, and they were good but nothing too crazy. I ordered the Pad Sei Ew with fried tofu which was yummy. I didn't love the fried tofu and it tasted kind of plain compared to what I've had in the past. I would probably try the soft tofu next time. The portion was good, but you could get the same thing for a smaller price elsewhere. The pineapple fried rice was also good but it felt like it was missing some flavor. Everyone else liked their food. One highlight was the Tom Kha soup. I loved the presentation of the dish, and it was delicious. There was a candle underneath to ensure it stayed warm as well. My one complaint about this place is the price, especially for the curry. You have to pay extra for rice, but the curry should come with rice - otherwise it isn't a complete meal. You're mostly paying for the ambiance here, and I love their interior design. I would defiantly come back for a birthday because they did a great song for our friend and it was a fantastic experience. The dessert was delicious as well. Aside from the great food of course, I was happy to mingle and meet fellow Yelp elite members who share the same passion of enjoying culinary experiences and writing about it. On to the food! I've been to Bai Tong before and I had a wonderful experience then, sharing some meals with my co-workers. The food continues to shine. I had the chicken satay which was tender, flavorful and had a nice peanut dipping sauce. The Khao Mon Gai chicken was moist, rice fragrant and the soup aromatic. The little bowl of Thom Yum was equally soothing, with perfect blend of sour and slight sweetness. All the drinks brought to the table were fun, creative and delicious, all show stoppers! You get a sense that a lot of thinking and concocting was put into each one. Bai Tong is beautifully decorated, each soaring space filled with native chandeliers and walls painted in beautiful design. The tables are comfortably spaced and the noise level adds to the energy the restaurant exudes. But it is the smiling faces of the servers that brighten this joint---attentive, warm and ever present. Kay, one of the managers is particularly welcoming and exhibits an infectious sense of joy and pride. Thank you to the Yelp staff. I had a lot of fun. We came here right around opening and were seated immediately. We were instructed to use the QR code to view the menu, but they also have physical menus if you need them. I ordered the crispy chicken Khao Mun Gai and my fiancé ordered the Swimming Rama with chicken. His order came out quickly, but after waiting for my food to come out, our server came over and apologized because the kitchen hadn't informed her that the ginger rice that comes with the Khao Mun Gai was not ready yet. I think we waited about 30-40 minutes for my dish to come out and our server had offered to bring the Swimming Rama to the back to keep warm so we could enjoy our meal together. I understand these things happen, but I did get a little hangry lol. When my meal arrived, I did enjoy it and the ginger rice was very fragrant. The ginger and sweet & spicy dipping sauces are definitely the star, I used up both and asked for more! +BBQ Pork and Cripsy Pork Belly with Egg Noodles (3.5 stars) - with asked for 4/5 spicy, and they definitely put a ton of chili flakes in the noodle. The BBQ pork was a bit dry, especially paired with the noodle. You have to have the flavorful soup. I enjoyed the crispy pork belly more. +Gai Hor Bai Toey aka chicken wrapped in pandan leaf and fried (3.5 stars) - tender chicken, I'm not a big fan of the sweet dipping sauce though.
