Cool restaurant. I've only had apps but very good and a fresh spin on fusion. We were in a larger party with a dedicated server, but the service was quick.

They had a unique and interesting menu, so I really wanted to try, especially the Seattle Dog Musubi, Tikka Tonkatsu Don, and the Loco Moco Scotch Egg, which we did order all of. My bf and I ended up making it in during happy hour, so we did get to also try some happy hour items. Everything was good and tasty. Cute place, and and service was excellent.

The only dessert on the menu, and it's incredible.

there's some excellent stuff here in the cocktails, appetizers, and dessert. And it really makes me realize that unless I'm going to a place for a specific kind of entree, that most restaurants work best when they're like a family style chinese restaurant: you share a bunch of dishes large and small and never get burdened with a choice that may not fit your taste at that time. I think itsumono benefits greatly from this, as its dishes are all delightful in smaller portions. Waitress and bartender couldn't have been sweeter, and I would add this to the list of places like Rondo and Tamari bar that compose the best Japanese fare in Seattle.

Exceeded Expectations! My husband and I came for SRW on a weekday and were seated promptly. Service was extremely kind and friendly. For appetizer, we ordered the hamachi crudo and patatas brava okonomiyaki. The hamachi was served as thick slices and I can understand why some folks say it's fishy but I think it's bc of the sauce. I liked the mint though. I enjoyed the patatas brava a lot! They do potatoes really well. For main, we got the wagyudon, which was loaded up with so much wagyu I thought it was great value and it was delicious too, and the rib sando, which felt like an elevated McRib. We enjoyed both. For dessert, we got the sticky toffee mochi pudding and tiramisuade. Loved both desserts. The toffee was most excellent.

Came here after dinner just for their dessert and it did not disappoint. We were seated at the table and told the server that we came here only for dessert so asked them if we should sit at the bar and they were OK with wherever we would like to sit. Ordered their toffee mochi ($16) and got served quite promptly so that'd good. Vanilla ice cream on too, with warm toffee caramel and mochi. The Mochi is hard-ish crunchy on the outside, but the inside is like cakey-mochi consistency. Not soft mochi, but sake, but between the two! The treacle caramel has a nutty flavor to it which I think works well with the mochi. The edible(?) flower on top is a nice touch, but didn't do much to the overall dish other than just for the visuals. The inside of the restaurant is mainly dark-wood tone and somewhat dark-ish with some spotlights to each table. Overall, great experience! The bill came out to $22 which is decent-ish considering the shareable size for two.

The food was pretty unique and tasty. The drinks were also good. The server did the best he could but they seemed pretty short staffed for an event night. They do take reservations too which is nice. The inside is pretty packed and feels like a bar meets little family restaurant. Overall would recommend because they have lots of different dietary options despite a more compact menu and everything is well labeled.

We drove from San Francisco to Seattle and arrived just in time for a late dinner. We made reservations ahead of time and were seated immediately. It's a fun spot with ample seating and a little bar area. Our servers were attentive was friendly and knowledgeable. We started with a yellowtail sashimi dish that was served with seaweed snacks- so clever! We ordered the waygu dish which was delicious and the pork loin dish. We were impressed by the clever mash up of cuisines- the tikka masala sauce on the pork cutlet served over cabbage and rice was excellent. We'll definitely return and try some other menu offerings.

Went during HH. Got the Distiller's day off which is butterfly pea flower infused tequila, watermelon soda, ginger beer, lime. It was refreshing, and alcohol ratio was decent. For food, I tried the seattle dog musubi, cauliflower karaage, and potato takoyaki. All were pretty tasty. And of course, outside HH i had to get the sticky toffee mochi again. This seems to remain consistent and the combo of toffee, cake, and mochi with the ice cream is the best. HH or not i think the price is a bit on the high end. Service is pretty good and server was friendly.

What a fun spot. We love the vibe at the bar, the artwork, and the creative menu. Expect casual fusion fare here, and changes to the menu from time to time. Cocktails are so-so for me but it depends on what we order. Also love the recent "Michelbin" rating sign up front. lol!

Came here for my birthday dinner! For starters we got the Cauliflower Karaage, Hamachi Crudo, Seattle Dog Musubi, Eggplant Dengaku, Chicken Bake Lumpia, and the Itsumono Salad. For mains we had the sweet and sour pork ribs, the loco moco scotch egg, and the tikka masala katsu don. For six people it was just the right amount of food with a little leftovers. Out of everything we tried I highly recommend the cauliflower Karaage which had a crispy/crunchy sugared outside almost reminiscent of a lighter tanghulu with a perfectly cooked and not mushy inside as well as the hamachi crudo which I thought the pairing of nuoc cham was very inventive and delicious. I also enjoyed the sweet and sour pork ribs as well as the chicken bake lumpia although the lumpia was a little soggy and lacked the usual crunch that I expect. I also had the Shiso Salty cocktail which was amazing and after tasting everyone's drink at the table was certainly the most balanced. I would not recommend the scotch egg or the tikka masala as both lacked flavor and were tepid when they came out, unfortunately the rice was over cooked as well. I also felt the filipino red hot dog choice for the seattle dog musubi while interesting didn't pair well with the other toppings and was overly sweet with the warming spices. Overall I would recommend sticking to the starters and small plates here which you can definitely make a meal out of. The staff give great recommendations as well.

Went here for Seattle restaurant week with two of my friends. We made a reservation at 7 on a Thursday and were promptly seated when we got there. The service was always very nice and friendly and quick. We decided to get two Seattle restaurant week meals and a few extra appetizers to share between the 3 of us which was more than enough food. Overall the food was pretty good, just small portions for the price. The Seattle dog was warm and creamy and I surprisingly really liked it. I thought the hamachi was good, more tangy than I expected. I thought the rib burger was just okay, I wish there was a crunch or something to it as it was just a bit mushy. The wayugon meat was good and the rice was good. We got a few cocktails and they were good too, we got the distillers day off and Sakura lemonade and I personally preferred the lemonade.

Perfect spot for a late dinner! Establishment - the space is a bigger than I thought. You see a few booths on either sides of the walls when you first walk in so it seems small, but there's a separate room where there's a bar and plenty of other tables and booth seating. The place was dimly lit, but I'm not sure if it's because we went close to 830p/9p. The front of the restaurant gave a bit more of an intimate feel, while the back felt like it was a bar/grill type ambiance. Service - nothing significant to note, the host and server were both friendly and kind. Food - I noticed there were vegan options on the menu, which I thought was nice. Not a ton, but at least there were a few options. The yuzu cauliflower karage was surprisingly delicious. Loved the citrusy tang that blended with the batter, made the dish feel a bit lighter. I ordered the bolognese that had a blend of mushrooms and eggplant. The noodles that were used was udon, which I loved the texture of. It's actually a vegan dish but you can have it made with butter and add parm to it, which I obviously did. My friend ordered the katsu entree that I tasted; it had a twist on the traditional Japanese katsu curry as they used masala curry and it worked wonderfully. My other friend ordered the scotch egg dish, which I also tried. Personally not a big fan, but it was packed with flavor. For a Friday night, it was quiet in the restaurant, but I assume most people don't go out in this area at that time of night. Overall a good experience, and would recommend if you're up for a Japanese fusion spot or a late dinner in a pinch.

Our party of 4 went without reservations on a Saturday night and got a seat after about 40min. Nice servers. It's a bit dark in there (no windows) and smells a bit musty. We ordered: 1) cauliflower - 3/5. When it came to the table, we got a sour whiff that was not very appetizing. It smelled very vinegary like bad sweat. But it tasted better than it smelled. Would almost give it a 4, but I just don't think I'd order it again. 2) shrimp gumbo - 3/5. Couldn't really taste the shrimp. Lots of batter and the shrimp had no bite. The gumbo itself was fine. 3) corn congee - 4/5. Probably the best of the bunch. 4) eggplant - 3/5. Too mushy tho I liked the spicy kick. 5) loco moco - 4/5. New take with the egg in the middle. Would order again. 6) mochi dessert - 4/5. Good consistency of mochi, but too sweet for my taste. We had decent cocktails and the pricing is reasonable, but I wouldn't necessarily return to try anything else or recommend it.

The space is elegant, unique, and lives up to the photos. I also want to recognize the manager, who was polite, professional, and kindly explained that reservations were required. I completely understand and respect that policy. Unfortunately, my interaction with the bartender before speaking with the manager was the complete opposite. As I tried to get her attention, I felt like she repeatedly looked at me with annoyance and made me feel unwelcome. Rather than simply explaining the reservation policy herself, she went to get the manager instead. She had a problem with Hispanics. She refused to engaged at all. The way I was treated left me feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed, especially as someone who was genuinely excited to visit. A beautiful venue can only go so far when the hospitality doesn't match. I would have happily accepted that reservations were required if I had simply been treated with basic kindness and respect from the start. I truly hope this was an isolated incident because the location itself is stunning, and the manager handled the situation professionally. Unfortunately, because of my interaction with the bartender I've added in the photos, I don't see myself returning. Sadly they have a Prejudice bartender.

They also have standard as well as unique takes on tiki drinks. We were surprised to find so many options with vodka and tequila which isn't common in a more traditional tiki bar We had the: - "Kiki Premier Mai Tai" which wasn't as rum forward as we would have thought, especially given how many rums it had in it; but overall it was a classic style Mai Tai and tasty with quality rums - "One Eyed Willy" which has a fun presentation in a chest with smoking dry ice.
