This is a hard review. Some people deserve a 5 star review and others a 1 star review so I did 3 stars. Bracken our initial contact was very friendly and helpful. We moved from UT to WA. The packing team in UT was fast and pretty good. However, of the team of four women, one of them was a bit older and seemed to talk more than work. She also asked for our help a few times. The reason we paid for packers was because our backs our bad. Also, she was hesitant to pack a few things which the others had no problem with. The gal who did my kitchen worked efficiently and fast and did an excellent job. The other two ladies did fairly well just some inconsistencies on what the would or wouldn't pack. Which ended up leaving us with a lot of misc. leftovers to cram in our car. Allan our driver for our first load was awesome. The only exception was blocking our neighbors driveway with the moving truck. Luckily our neighbors were understanding. Allan had our items at our new home in WA one day later. The movers who unloaded us in WA were very hard working. Mighty Mouse was the main movers name and he lived up to it. They guy did an amazing job and worked his heart out. He was friendly and so willing to please. He never complained just kept telling us no problem and would dive in and make the change we requested in furniture placement etc. His daughter and son-in-law were the other two movers. They did a pretty good job. Allan helped as well. Now we wait. They couldn't fit all of our items on Allans truck so a second truck had to lead our garage. These movers were a bit slower which was frustrating because we had a deadline to be out of our home by a certain time. We didn't plan on needing to stick around and wait for a second truck. It threw us off schedule and we left UT at about noon. We arrived in WA after midnight. We are now awaiting the delivery of this truck. Hopefully it will arrive this week. I will update my review then.

Load on 17 Nov, the last day I saw my household possessions. Posted on 29 Nov, 2600 miles away.

I hired Bailey's Moving and Storage for a cross country move. My initial interactions we good. The load assessor was great, and gave me a good price for the move. Upon loading, the crew that arrived did so on time, took good care of our household belongings, and worked expeditiously to get the truck loaded in a safe and caring manner. This was in Nov 17th. I had a delivery window of Nov 22nd to Dec 2nd. A reasonable window, so to be sure to be at our destination to receive the load, I packed up my family and made a 2600 mile drive to our new home. I was told by our move coordinator that I would be updated throughout the move as to where our belongings were, so I could plan accordingly. Great service I thought. On 22 Nov I still hadn't received any updates, so I called. I was told that the driver had decided on the 2nd of Dec for our delivery date. Not preferred by me, nor was I consulted, but with that being within our contract date, I accepted it for what it was. I was told that I would be updated the following Monday, a week away. The week went by, we made our journey to the East Coast with sunny weather except for Rain on the Friday and final day of travel, the 25th of Nov, a week since we loaded the moving truck. Monday came, and I expected a call. As the morning came and went, no call. Finally in mid-afternoon, I made a call to Bailey's move coordinator and left a message asking about an update. I got a call back from an audibly nervous move coordinator. She informed me that the drive was in Pennsylvania, but had loaded the wrong household, and mine was still in Utah. This was the 28th of Nov. 11 days after Bailey's took possession of our household. I was told that they were working on-a solution, and I would be receiving my load as soon as possible. Beings that I moved across country, I have a new job to begin. On The 29th, I was told to expect my load on the 5th of Dec, 3 days past our contract date of delivery, and my first day at a new job. Obviously, this is a problem for me, to which Baileys representative told me that I would need to be there to receive my load, have a representative, or incur storage costs for delays. I am paying $18,000 for this debacle, and the customer service rep has repeated expressed that it is my responsibility as a client to accept the delays, the inconvenience, and excess costs for accommodations for my family. No one at Bailey's has taken any responsibility or accountability for their negligence. It has all been put on me, the client. In one aspect they are correct. My part in this and my big mistake? Hiring Bailey's to make my cross country move. We are now 12 days since loading a truck, and as far as I know on Tuesday evening, my household is still in Utah, because now they have a snowstorm, and travel for delivery may be delayed. I don't know for sure, because I have not received any update as I was promised in the beginning. 12 days, 2600 miles and $18,000 later, I have no certain delivery date for our household items, and Bailey's has expressed nothing but blame on me, the client who has been waiting for 4 days and counting. Dec 1, I got an update call this afternoon. I was told my load left Denver earlier this morning. Appreciated update, considering it suppose to be on the East Coast tomorrow, but I suppose I just accept the incompetence, because seriously, when a truck has your household on it, as a client, I am at their mercy, right. Then cam the next step. A request for payment. The load coordinator, nice girl, I had to ask to speak with someone else, considering that paying the remainder seems a bit naive considering the level of ineptitude shown by Bailey's. I requested to speak with the GM, as this conversation was not something that a load coordinator should be having. In my opinion, asking the least involved person to ask for the remaining balance was an act of cowardice, knowing that I have been completely unsatisfied with the action of Bailey's, it says a lot about the leadership of the company. I then got a call from the gentleman that assessed my load. He tried to strong-arm me a bit, however when I pointed out that over the past week of sheer incompetence, I would need to put eyes on my belongings before I pay, which I fully intend to do, in full, upon validation that the contents of the trailer are mine. This was not received well, but he told me that he would get the final billing to me tomorrow so that I can have a certified check ready on the day of delivery. Seems that Bailey's and by extension, will hold your belongings hostage until they are paid upfront for piss poor service. This shows where their priorities are. Cash first, incompetence second, and care about the clients, dead last. Dec. 4th the last day I have before starting a new job. What do I have for $18,000? Nothing but stress and anxiety.

If you care about your furniture, your time, or basic human decency -- DO NOT HIRE THEM AND DO NOT BELIEVE THESE REVIEWS. I went out of my way to clearly communicate my expectations before the move: everything needed to be fully wrapped and handled with care. They acknowledged it. They agreed. And then they showed up and did the exact opposite. They didn't even bother to wrap my furniture properly. My dresser and my nightstand were rolled out on a dolly with just a blanket draped over the top -- the entire bottom fully exposed and unprotected. I have photo evidence. This wasn't a mistake. This was how they operate. One of their movers was missing for half the move, and the rest of the crew took 30 minutes to drive across the street. Yes, literally across the street. The level of carelessness and unprofessionalism was beyond anything I've ever experienced. When I confronted them with proof, they first admitted the crew took shortcuts -- then quickly flipped the script and tried to claim that throwing a blanket over a piece of furniture is their "standard practice." That's not a standard -- that's pure negligence, and they had the nerve to defend it. They refused to take accountability. They denied the damage was their fault. And instead of making it right, they offered me a half refund and called it a "goodwill gesture." This company is a scam. They cut corners, gaslight customers, and hide behind empty policies when they're called out. Avoid 801 Moving Company like your furniture depends on it -- because it does. I wouldn't trust them to move a cardboard box, let alone real furniture.

First of all, their Sales manager Todd definitely makes you think you can trust him but that certainly isn't the case at all. He has no idea what he's talking about or he's just blatantly lying to get a sale. He quoted us $2,100 and said we could fit about 20 more boxes if we wanted to with the space we have in the truck and it wouldn't cost much more. We didn't know until the day of when the movers would be there and he hadn't confirmed anything with us. Then the movers arrive and demand $1400 more than what was originally quoted because they said each additional box was an extra $140 (not what we were told at all and that's insane). After arguing for 30 minutes with them they refused to pack our things until we paid and we were left with no choice as we were moving the next day. Todd told us it would take at maximum 3-10 days for delivery, it ended up taking 17 days. In between pick up to delivery, he completed stopped answering my calls and was unable to get any help on the matter at all. When the delivery finally came all boxes were completely destroyed, broken kitchen supplies, broken TV, nothing was protected with packing supplies at all. This has been an experience from hell and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone even if you are on a budget it's not worth it because in the end you will get scammed.

We had a very disappointing experience with All Smiles Moving…read more My mother-in-law booked them based on an estimate provided ahead of time (03/26/26) and paid a deposit. However, on the day of the move (04/09/26), they presented a new estimate that was higher than what was originally agreed to. Before the movers even arrived, my husband had already done a significant amount of the work himself, he moved all the boxes into the garage and disconnected the washer and dryer. The only items left in the home were the large furniture pieces. When the two movers arrived, they even commented that this was going to be an "easy move" because of how much had already been done. We were told a crew of 3 movers would be handling the job, but only 2 showed up for most of the move. A third mover didn't arrive until the last couple of hours to help with the unloading. Because of this, the move took longer than it should have and since they charge hourly, that directly increased the total cost. This seems like normal practice for them, a bait and switch. They also spent an excessive amount of time (about an hour) just wrapping furniture, which again added to the bill. At the end, the total came out to nearly $1,000 significantly more than expected. On top of that, we received inconsistent paperwork with different versions of the agreement, which makes the charges even more questionable. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and misleading. Despite the amount of prep work done ahead of time, the job still took longer and cost more than it should have. If you're considering using this company, I would strongly recommend getting everything clearly locked in writing and confirming crew size before the move starts. Unfortunately, we would not use them again.

They did a great job wrapping our furniture and were careful with all the pieces while also working quickly and efficiently. The truck was packed snug as a bug to keep things from sliding around. In sum, they were real professionals. We completed the entire move in 4 1/2 hours which was outstanding considering we completely filled a 22 foot truck. A few issues with customer service and pricing: 1.) I booked a month in advance and was told I'd get a call the week before to confirm. I didn't get a call, so I had to call them myself and ended up giving all the same details over again. 2.) I requested 4 movers but only 3 showed up in the beginning. This ended up not being a problem, but I would have appreciated being communicated with about this. The fourth mover did show up for the last hour of work, but again I had no idea he was coming. This comes into play in #4 below. 3.) When the movers showed up, the rate was $10/hour more than what we'd agreed to on the phone. I called Giovanni and he took care of this right away. 4.) There is a travel fee equal to one extra hour per man on the job, essentially a paid commute. Since we were paying $40/hour and had 3 guys, we figured $120 for the travel fee. The bill we ended up with listed the price at $159, which meant we were being charged for the late-coming 4th man, meaning he worked for one hour and got paid for two. I called Giovanni to try to sort it out. It turns out that the while the bill did read $159, if you do the math manually we actually only paid $119, which was the appropriate amount. This ended up not hurting our bottom line, but I don't see why I should have to follow up with stuff like this. Overall among the best movers I've had. I've had some really sketchy characters show up in the past to do the actual moving, and they really milked the clock. These guys worked with purpose from start to finish, and really knew what they were doing. The customer service end needs some work, but I am willing to forgive a lot based on how awesome the movers were. I would recommend using them, but would suggest you get a good understanding in advance of how many guys will be there, how much they'll cost, how much their packing materials will cost, and what the travel fee will be, that way there shouldn't be any surprises.
