They came out prior to install temporary wood shingles until the project could get started, these were to prevent any more leaks. No charge for this. Once project began, his foreman checked in daily with me to see if any questions or concerns I may have. The team cleaned up every day very meticulously with blower and magnet on a rod to pick up any loose metal nails, etc. They even brought my garbage cans in for me on garbage day! With the previous rainstorm and those coming, it seemed like every roofing company was unavailable. Nick responded to my Yelp request within a few hours and he was able to get his crew out the same day. They fixed the leak as well as other work done improperly by the previous roofing contractor. They worked non stop for hours to fix the roof. They were very thorough and actually looked for the leak from the inside by tapping on the ceiling where the leak was located while someone on the roof was tracking the sound and locating the cause of the leak. No other roofing contractor we've hired has ever done that. They just tried guessing the roof location based upon the leak location. Nick and his crew did some work for us, replacing a roof on top of a closet addition to the house. They also cleaned out all the gutters around the house and resealed all the heat and plumbing jacks for the entire house as well. I had a leak in my rental property's roof, and I called several roofers to get an estimate to fix it. Two of the companies I called told me I'd have to open the roof up so they could asses the situation. This would cost me several thousand dollars. Bailey's sent over two guys to give an estimate, and one of them crawled all around the roof from one end to the other, looking at every corner and crevice. When he finished, they told me that it was a matter of re-gluing the area where the leak was coming from. This would cost a fraction of what the other companies were going to charge, and it made sense to me. I also thought it was honest. Bailey's fixed the leak, water tested it, and it's perfect. As a result of their honesty, I've had them re-roof my home in Alameda. This crew was great!! My husband and I had been thinking of getting our roof done of the course of a year. We drove by a other house getting theirs done stoppwd and got a card from who turned out to be the owner. We got a quote compared 4 different roofing companies. When we received the quote from Baileys we had requested a couple of changes so we could compares prices. These changes were immediately made. We had a roof leak and contacted Nick to see if he could fix the leak quickly as more rains were forecast. He came over and quickly found the problem causing the leak. He showed me pictures of the area causing the roof leak and provided a written quote. He also showed me pictures of some other problem areas. I contracted him to do only the immediate repairs needed. The day Nick came to fix the problem, I asked him to give me a quote for cleaning the gutters as well since they were leaking at a couple of places. I had a complete tear off and new roof installed with new skylight and gutters. I shopped around for many different quotes doing a full compare and contrast of the services offered. Bailey's was by far the best price with the most to offer. They had many options we could have gone with giving us a real choice in the replacement of our roof. We ended with the shingle color and style we wanted as well as they installed a ridge vent to help air out our attic and garage. They replaced all our roof venting as well as replaced our original sky light with a tinted one that fit perfectly. My wife has a large walk in closet with no natural light and they suggested installing a light tube/sky light into the closet and she was incredibly happy with the install. A once dim walk in closet is now beaming with natural light. They were very friendly and honest with their suggestions. When they had to access the walk in closet they went out of their way to clean up as they worked in the space. I cant say enough about how happy we are with them.
