I had a leak in my rental property's roof, and I called several roofers to get an estimate to fix it. Two of the companies I called told me I'd have to open the roof up so they could asses the situation. This would cost me several thousand dollars. Bailey's sent over two guys to give an estimate, and one of them crawled all around the roof from one end to the other, looking at every corner and crevice. When he finished, they told me that it was a matter of re-gluing the area where the leak was coming from. This would cost a fraction of what the other companies were going to charge, and it made sense to me. I also thought it was honest. Bailey's fixed the leak, water tested it, and it's perfect. As a result of their honesty, I've had them re-roof my home in Alameda. One of the things I noticed about Bailey's is great communication; if you have a concern, even if you mention it to the work crew, Nick will get back to you within 24 hours. This crew was great!! My husband and I had been thinking of getting our roof done of the course of a year. We drove by a other house getting theirs done stoppwd and got a card from who turned out to be the owner. We got a quote compared 4 different roofing companies. When we received the quote from Baileys we had requested a couple of changes so we could compares prices. These changes were immediately made. When we discussed the prices we were given a few different options with a honest opinion of the choices. The work was schuduled a lot sooner than we originally thought it would be. We had a roof leak and contacted Nick to see if he could fix the leak quickly as more rains were forecast. He came over and quickly found the problem causing the leak. He showed me pictures of the area causing the roof leak and provided a written quote. He also showed me pictures of some other problem areas. I contracted him to do only the immediate repairs needed. The day Nick came to fix the problem, I asked him to give me a quote for cleaning the gutters as well since they were leaking at a couple of places. He gave me a quote but ended up cleaning my gutters for free. He fixed the roof leak before more rains came. A job well done at a very reasonable price and the gutters cleaned for free. So they had time to stop by and take pictures, but not do any actual work? They didn't even notify me that they would be coming by. I had a complete tear off and new roof installed with new skylight and gutters. I shopped around for many different quotes doing a full compare and contrast of the services offered. Bailey's was by far the best price with the most to offer. They had many options we could have gone with giving us a real choice in the replacement of our roof. We ended with the shingle color and style we wanted as well as they installed a ridge vent to help air out our attic and garage. They replaced all our roof venting as well as replaced our original sky light with a tinted one that fit perfectly. My wife has a large walk in closet with no natural light and they suggested installing a light tube/sky light into the closet and she was incredibly happy with the install. A once dim walk in closet is now beaming with natural light. They were very friendly and honest with their suggestions. When they had to access the walk in closet they went out of their way to clean up as they worked in the space. I cant say enough about how happy we are with them. Our gutters came out great and we got to pick the color we wanted to accent the roof nicely. These are the most professional, honest and hard workers you will come across. I wish I had found Bailey's Roofing before I was in contract with another roofer. I hired them to replace my old gutters and downspouts. Nick was quick to respond to my email. From then on we communicated through text, which was great for me. He came by my house to give me the bid. He didn't ask me to be present for that.
