    Chicken flautas

While visiting Park City we checked out the first farmer's market of the summer as the lifts and slide were closed. Planning a hike after lunch, we stopped in Baja Cantina right near the lift as the food smelled good and not much else was open around it. The restaurant has a fun atmosphere inside...lots of wall decorations, different rooms with different looks, good Hispanic motif. Our server was Grey and she took great care of us, being patient and helpful with questions. My wife ordered a plate of chicken flautas, my boys got a chicken and a shrimp fajitas, and I got a taco plate w/ rice and beans. The food was average...a tad on the bland side. Their prices were a tad high for the quality of the food, but not unreasonable given their location in a tourist area. It did provide us ample energy before going on a 3-hour hike up the adjacent mountain. Overall, we were satisfied with our lunch here. Thanks Baja Cantina!

Dropped in on a snow-less Tuesday (and my travel day) for a quick bite just to tide me over until Supper. Sat at the bar area and enjoyed chips and salsa before kindly server Paul brought me a Park City quesadilla which hit the spot. Don't love the salsa as I prefer Verde to chunky Red. A nice spot to try in the Mountain Village. Thankful Baja was open as operations shut down two days ago.

This was the bowl of tortilla soup. I was surprised with the size, I thought this would be the cup version, not the bigger size, the bowl. Expensive for the size... $11

Absolutely awful experience. Do not recommend! I ordered the Enchiladas Rancheros with a side of beans instead of rice. The beans were refrigerator cold. I tried my enchiladas and the beans in those too were cold. They took my order back to bake it, and the side of beans were warm but by the time I got half way into my enchilada I had cold beans again. My oldest daughter ordered the First Time Burrito and she too complained the beans were not warm enough. My husband ordered the Double Jack and had no issues. In fact he ate up his happily while my oldest & I waited for our meals to be reheated. He even was completely done before they brought ours back out it took that long! My youngest ordered the kids chicken strips and fries, and I tried both and they were fairly decent. The chips nor the salsa are fresh or good. The Cadillac margarita was meh. The prickly pear margarita was good. IMO: the best part was the tiniest bit of guacamole I had on my dish. The place was busy but I don't know how they stay in business with mediocre tasteless food. Sorry never got pics of the food due to my horrible experience.

Amazing cuisine and always a must go to when we are in PC! We have been visiting Baja for over a decade and love the Prospector. Fresh and made to perfection. Delicious beans, rice and cheese. Nice accent of greens. They have amazing mocktails and full of flavor and sugar. Good salsa! It includes chunky tomatoes. Plenty of seating. This last visit our waiter was being trained and missed our section for orders. We waited 1/2 an hour to place an order. Once I let someone know he was there quickly and the rest of the visit was smooth.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The prices were a bit much, but the portions were generous. I originally was going to order a margarita, but it was $15. So I got the virgin margarita and it was only $5. The waitress was very kind and patient as we took a while to decide what to order. The food was really good, but we probably wouldn't go again because it was pretty expensive.

We went for a bite after a long day of ski. The staff were very nice and tentative. The food is big portions and very yummy! Timu was our server and was super kind and helpful.

I've been a customer for a long time and the food is always good. Simple but good. I am however quite disappointed in this $20 salad that I just paid for. There's barely any lettuce and I just don't think the value is there anymore. I know food is more expensive now, but this is ridiculous. The portion is completely inadequate for what you're charging. You didn't even fill half the container.

This is our 3rd time here. We normally stop by for a margarita and some dinner after a day in the slopes. The food is usually pretty good but unfortunately the service is always hit or miss. This last time we were told it was too busy for us to be waited on but we could order "to go" and eat it at one of the tables. Totally fine, we placed our order, snagged a few drinks and waited. 5 mins later 2 more tables come in and are sat at the bar and taken care of. While I appreciate them allowing us to eat it was very off putting to see others being served while we weren't. The food is good. Drinks are good. Atmosphere is that of a mountain side ski town but mexican themed. We will likely give it another try because we love Mexican and it's one of only a few at the bottom of the mountain but if you're going be prepared for a wait.

The Cantina was closed due to electrical problems. I would have visited if open. The menu looked appetizing, I am sorry they had to close.

The music set the stage, and with a seat on the porch overlooking Main Street was fun. Once the food arrived, it looked mouthwatering. And the taste did not disappoint. The portion sizes were enough to fill you up, but not make you miserable if you ate the whole thing. I ordered the carne asada, build your own burrito with a side of chips and salsa. If you're trying to watch your portion size, this could easily be shared between two.

The main issue was the flavor. The toppings and salsa were extremely bland. No spice, no kick, and very little flavor overall, which was surprising for a Mexican restaurant. Everything felt like it needed seasoning. The service was fine but nothing memorable. Our table was a bit sticky when we sat down, and the soft drinks come from cans rather than fountain drinks, which felt a little odd for a sit-down restaurant. Fountain drinks are a huge part of going to a restaurant. I can have a Can soda at home. For four of us the bill came out to about $160, which felt pretty pricey for the overall experience. Not a terrible meal, but probably not somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit again.

The staff we interacted with were equally lovely. Biscuits and gravy is my go-to at any diner. I mean it when I say this was the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. The whole thing is one biscuit and the gravy is more of a bechamel with a peppery kick balanced by the sweet biscuit; more like a savory cake in the best way. My professional cook boyfriend is rarely ever impressed by food and we were equally blown away! There are no incorrect options on the menu. Bf also loved his huevos rancheros, but the biscuits and gravy were the star of the show. We cannot recommend it enough and couldn't stop talking about it the rest of our trip.

Customer service is rarely decent, staff seem disinterested in guests and are content being complacent, knowing that their business will survive strictly because of the popularity of the town. The Eating Establishment fell squarely into this category; slow, disinterested service, mediocre food and ridiculous prices. My partner and I ordered breakfast-I had eggs, potatoes and bacon. The eggs had a strange, burnt taste to them and the potatoes were cold. The ambience here is great, very mountain-vibe. I like the historic building and all the character that comes with it. Perhaps with a little "give a damn," they could make this a place that I'd love to return to.
