Next best thing to the no name saloon if you have children with you. Got the chicken pesto panini, it was very good! Had a balsamic Vinaigrette sauce with fresh tomatoes and nicely grilled chicken topped with pesto. I would get this again. We stopped in on March 11th after receiving a recommendation from a local on the ski lift. We always ask locals their opinions where to go in ski towns. They know best. I'm a little shocked at some of the reviews as we had a great experience at Annex and an delicious burger. We typically prefer to sit at the bar in a casual atmosphere when available if just the two of us. People at the bar are usually super friendly even if not in a chatty mood, everyone is just chill. We walked straight to the bar where we sat down with Javier as the bartender. There are only 5 seats at the bar so we were lucky to have 2 seats available. Javier was attentive and very nice. He gave advice on the menu as well as reminded us of the 'unique' liquor laws of UT we needed to follow when ordering more than one cocktail. I ordered a Moscow mule. I noticed in the Park City and Deer Valley area that not one of the bars or restaurants we dined at serve them in the copper mug, which honestly kind of takes away from the icy cold tasty drink if you know what I mean. It actually changes the taste in a way. Nonetheless, it was fine. We both ordered the Saloon burger which is a 1/2 Lb. buffalo burger with grilled onions, cheese, tomatoes, shredded lettuce & mayo on a fresh house made potato bun. We are always on the lookout for an amazing burger and this did not disappoint! So flavorful and the bun was one of the freshest buns I've ever had. It was really tasty. They serve house made chips on the side which were crunch and flavorful. I would call them kettle chips. I've noticed most the restaurants in Park City/Deer Valley area served kettle type chips with salsa instead of tortilla chips and salsa. Must be their style here. Overall we had a great experience. Let's start with the obvious - The Annex serves bar food, though it does so without being a bar under Utah law. Crazy state that we live in! This is the the smaller relative of "No Name" (which is a bar under our whacky laws) so no children are allowed there. The Annex is where you go when want to the same food as The Spur serves, plus a kids menu and still have a cocktail or wine but do it with children by your side. The menu has the usual burgers, sandwiches and salads with various sides and apps including onion rings, tater tots and fries. The kids menu is solid and is pretty much a scaled down version of the grownup menu but with smaller portion sizes and lower prices. The place is a sensory overload for little ones due to the fact that it has multiple TV's on the wall and shows a variety of channels, including Nickelodeon. We take our five year old grandson and who is usually a total chatterbox but here he is overwhelmed (in kind of a good way) with all that is going on in the space. What about the food you ask? It is tasty, sometimes messy with a bit two much sauce or dressing and just plain good. Between my wife and I we have had the chicken wrap, the chicken panini, their pork carnitas tacos, their famous buffalo burgers (incredibly messy and incredibly good!) and almost all the sides / appetizers. Would I go here without children in tow? No way; I would go next door to the No Name. The food is the same but the atmosphere is more fun for grown ups. But when dining with friends with kids or if we have our grandchildren with us, we consider The Annex to be the "go to" spot on Main Street. read more

One of the worst services I have ever received in my life. I came with 6 friends. There was a reasonable wait that we stayed for. No problem. A smaller table opened up, so four of my friends sat down, and myself and two other waited an additional five minutes. Understandable. My group of other friends seemed to receive standard service, got beers, waters, and food in a normal time. My table ordered beers, and ended up being denied because "their scanner was having an issue with our ids. I am 25 years old and have a horizontal Virginia id. The same type of id that all my other friends have. No other table had problems with the scanner. Upon being denied beers, we ordered waters and food. After 10 minutes we had to ask for the waters again as we never received them. 5 minutes later they finally came. We then waited a very long time for our food before we had to ask about that. The table of my other friends who sat 5 minutes earlier had already received their food, finished it, and waited around before we asked. Several tables with larger groups who arrived after us also received their food. When asked, the server was very apologetic, but it seemed like our order was never even input. Burgers arrived another 5-10 minutes later. The food was good, and the server did comp the price of one meal, however i would not say these were worth our experience at all. Of the three things i ordered: 1) denied beer because my current and legal VA id "wouldn't scan) 2) waited 15 minutes to recieve a water, which I was very thirsty for after being denied my original beer. 3) waited 45 minutes for a hamburger, because I believe our order was never entered. I am not sure if my table was targeted for some reason and purposely given poor service, or if this was just one off incident, but I've truly never had a worse restaurant experience. Took a day trip to Park City for Range Rover house. Was hungry before the dinner portion at 7:00. Decided to check out Annex Burger as there wasn't a wait to get in. Ordered the nachos, mozzarella sticks and Caesar salad. Caesar salad was delicious, also the mozzarella sticks. The nachos were okay. Wasn't a big fan of the queso, and the ground beef had a yucky taste to it, as if it was canned meat. Overall a great place to grab a quick bite. read more

It's a toss up between 3-4 stars on this one. The decor was neat and the menu has a little bit of something for everyone. It's kid friendly and right on Main Street. It's not bad it just isn't exactly good either, not the kind of place you go back to. Our waitress was polite and the service was quick. I had the Buffalo nachos which were ok and my husband had the chicken sandwich which he said was good but it looked kind of disappointing to me. Horrible service and bland food. Waited 30 minutes before anyone even came to our table. Waitress put order in one of the dishes twice, and it came to the table that way. No big deal, it was a mistake. But then when it was pointed out to them that they brought an extra dish they didn't remove it from the bill. Had to point it out to them when we got the bill. Never got any refills on any drinks. Waitress stood around at the bar not doing anything. Was handling several tables, but seemed very disinterested in our table while servicing a much larger party several times over ours. The food was ALL very bland. Buffalo nachos, bland. Even the bacon on BLT was bland. Not sure how you make bacon taste bland, but they found a way. Nuggets were not seasoned at all. Corn chips were stale. Buffalo chips were crispy, but bland. Advertised "9 napkin" Burger only need 9 napkins because the bun fell apart so badly. Had nothing to do with the burger being juicy for sure. Would not recommend at all. In general a $28 hamburgers is just crazy. this place takes full advantage of that, food wasn't bad but... my 2 biggest problems with this place is $11 for a pint of johnnys? Apparently there is a law that says you can drink at a bar, but if it is a restaurant, you have to order food while at the bar of the restaurant. Can't go into the politics cause I really don't know, but this seems silly! However if it is a "law" guess we have to follow until it is changed. Well we sat at the restaurant bar and order (we were there to eat) 2 guys sat down next to us, order a beer and shot each stating they were having a quick drink before their dinner reservation. Bar tender Anna, poured their beer poured their shot, they did the shot started to sip the beer and asked for their bill, it was at this point, Anna, decided to tell them they need to order some food! Really?? The guys, ordered some of their chips, paid and left. A few moments later, a lady walked in asked if she could sit at the stool next to me stating I'm only here for a drink. Finally Anna showed back up and asked the lady what she wanted, she ordered a glass of wine. Anna turned around grab a wine glass and as she reached for the bottle, I asked Anna, " Are you going to tell her?" Wow either Anna is stupid or the culture is sneaky. And quite honestly wasn't a very good bartender. Alcohol prices seem a bit higher than everywhere else. I'd be very weary of this place. read more

Ok Annex burger is the kid friendly portion of No Name saloon. 1st the burgers are only buffalo which would be fine if they were cooked. The bartender who waited on us didn't offer an option on how you would like it done. Ultimately ours was raw...not pink but bleeding and soft. 1 of the kid's got the pasta with marinara, it was elbow macaroni and not good as it was over microwaved. The other got wings which were good but the traditional hot is hot. I had to walk to the bar for anything including ketchup as the table was out. We never got checked on or any refills of drinks. With the "Utah" bar laws that limits the options to eat with your kids in PC this wasn't good for a 20.00 burger. It wasn't good for a 10.00 burger. Ultimately they are counting on the majority of thier customers not being repeat business, but they made our choice of the 1 and done a very easy option. It was about 85 degrees inside as well, which didn't help either. . It could have been so much better with just a little bit of management or oversight. A bit pricy for a burger, but it makes sense given it is a half pound of buffalo meat. We ordered the steak chili bowl, mac and cheese, artichoke dip, fries and a burger. The burger was perfect, and the kettle chips were a nice homemade touch, but everything else was kinda mediocre. The artichoke dip was really salty, the chili bowl was more like a cup of chili than a bowl, in a sourdough roll, and the mac and cheese was almost like butter noodles with shredded Parmesan on top. I will say the staff was amazing. Very friendly, attentive, and great with families. We were seated within 20 mins, which isn't bad for Saturday on Main St. And they had coloring pages for kids. Annex has a bar in it, and it does smell a bit like beer and wet wood when you walk in. If we ever come back I may try a cocktail, but just as a food spot it was a bit overpriced. read more

Went to Park Silly days and decided to try Annex Burgers. We had buffalo wings with bbq sauce which was delicious. Came with Blue cheese dressing and lots of fresh carrots and celery. I had the Pulled pork sandwich with upgraded to onion rings. The sandwich was huge with lots of meat and homemade coleslaw underneath. The onion rings were delicious. I've never seen such perfectly breaded and fried rings. Bbq sauce condiment on the table. Hubby had the Buffalo burger sliders and devoured them with upgraded side of chili. Odd experience. After we ordered, multiple people came and left, because they didn't get helped, in any way. The food itself is very expensive. I understand that it's Buffalo, and not cow beef, but it shouldn't cost $17 for a basic burger and potato chips. The food itself tasted okay.
