I promise I'm not being harsh and Im also not someone that even bothers leaving reviews typically but I genuinely feel obligated to try and save people from going here. This is not a real restaurant. It's a tiny room being run by 3 people serving concession stand quality food. I mean it wasn't "bad" per se but it was "good" in the same way you'd congratulate your 12 year old for making you breakfast. I paid $20 for avocado toast that was literally an avocado sliced on top of a plain piece of bread. There was no seasoning AT ALL. The water was tap water in a plastic solo cup. I swear on my life, this establishment looks, feels and tastes like someone rented a room attached to a gas station and tried their hand at serving food to people. Then thought it was appropriate to charge 5 star prices for it. I seriously judge anyone who left here and took their time to go leave a 5 star review. I can't even imagine what kind of psychosis you'd have to be under to do that. Please go eat at any other restaurant in the area instead of here. You'll thank me later. read more

Clean, friendly proprietors, good coffee and food was fresh and well prepared. Huevos rancheros were perhaps the best we've had. The biscuits and gravy were excellent. I feel like Moose Cafe is under new ownership. We loved this place and the family who owned it. We just left and didn't see the original family, service is bad and the food didn't taste the same. I always order the chilaquiles with corn chips in lieu of the typical wheat. I confirmed with the waiter 5 times that they would be corn. The food came and I began eating, after several bites I realized that the chips were wheat (my allergy is pretty severe). I brought it to the waiter's attention and she insisted they were corn. I pointed to my husband's corn tortilla dish so she could visualize the difference and she agreed to make a new dish correctly. It come out grossly over salted and inedible. Then the staff charged us for both dishes, to which my husband disputed and they eventually dropped the extra charge. read more

We attempted this hole in the wall place for breakfast. Food was simple but incredibly over priced. Kids meals for 1 pancake 1 slice of bacon and eggs for $12 seems a lot steep. My breakfast sandwich was literally eggs bacon between to slices of toast and left a lot to be desired. My wife got $20 French toast combo which was on very thin bread and had almost no flavor. Service was fine. Water tasted funny, all that aside the bathrooms according to my son "where creepy" I investigated to see very poorly maintained bathrooms that confirmed the creepy feeling. We were hopeful for this place and the expectation we had after seeing it attached to a gas station and the lack of care regarding the ambiance were directly reflected into their food. You always have hopes for places like this but after an incredibly disappointing meal that cost $71+ for 2 children and 2 adults. I felt ripped off and underwhelmed! read more

Their bacon is very thick cut and arrived on the crispy side, just how we like it! Some of the best bacon ever! They have a little patio outside also. Just because it's a stop before leaving ski area ppl tend to stop by here and, I don't know whose been putting positive for this nasty place but the services is horrible and you have to serve ur self everything and also get charge for food that you've ordered but never got delivered to the table because they never made it in the first place! Good breakfast spot. Came here for breakfast recently and enjoyed the Breakfast Bowl, which was good and very filling. Three scrambled eggs served with ham, sausage, bacon, cheese, and perfectly crisped breakfast potatoes. I opted for corn tortillas on the side, and those were excellent, seemed like they had been made fresh that morning. Filled with ingredients from the Bowl and topped with chile sauce (your choice of red or green), these breakfast tacos made for a tasty and filling start to the day. Coffee was also good, smooth and strong. Service was very gracious and polite, and our waiter stopped by frequently to refill coffee mugs and water glasses. It seems like the place is family run, which I like. Prices were fair and fine. All in all a good spot, one I'll definitely return to. read more

They get one star for being the only place in Summit County still serving breakfast at 1pm on a Saturday, and one star because the owner is a very sweet lady. Now the bad. After the Moose Cafe took over this spot off the Summit Park exit, not only did they eliminate all sense of decor and atmosphere but the food has gone way down hill. The menu itself looks great. Many choices and tantalizing descriptions. However what you see and what you get are not the same. The breakfast potatoes are deep-fried not done on a grill and that's a major No-No for any breakfast connoisseur. My scrambled eggs were swimming in oil as were the vegetables that were on the side as a mix in. Our service came in the form of a teenage girl who barely spoke English and who forgot my bacon and my coffee. When your breakfast costs $18 for 2 eggs and potatoes (no bacon) and a cup of coffee you expect at least attentive service. I had to get up and walk over to the group of employees huddled in the corner minding their own business and ask for a refill. The table is covered with a thick piece of army green rubbery nylon- the kind you see at girl scout camp cookout and the chairs are what you might find at a conference room. It's also quite dark inside for a breakfast spot. There's nothing charming at all in the surroundings. The tiny women's bathroom is in desperate need of TLC and cleaning. Dirt in the corners, cracked tile, empty dispenser with the roll sitting free on the back of the toilet. My friend and I both agreed that the best brunch spot in Summit County these days is at our own home. read more

Do not come here! This is not the Moose Cafe we came to a few years ago. The food was okay but the service was horrible. Every order had something wrong! The server kept coming back to clarify our order and still got it all wrong! My son's burger order was a burger with lettuce and tomato only! It came with cheese and onions after she clarified the order twice! I even told her in Spanish! My son also asked for a straw...it took 18 minutes for her to drop a straw off when it wasn't even busy. Bacon and sausage CAME with two of orders but it didn't arrive at the table until 10 minutes after the food because I think they forgot! Wanted to give this place a shot in hopes of being able to support a local business, but I truly don't know how you mess up a plate of nachos. The overall flavor was super bland, the chicken seemed questionable and had a rubbery texture, and the cheese was a weird liquid consistency that seemed watered down. After the first bite I definitely wasn't even tempted to eat it which is a shame since I was starving. Besides the food, the waitress and door greater were nice. The wait staff is completely inept. When they brought out the food they held it ok a tray and refused to put it down for us. We had 2 small children so when we finally convinced them to put the food down for us they spilled a beverage all over my wife and only said oops and walked away. Additionally the food is very overpriced I could have gotten a higher quality food for a better price at McDonald's. I was driving through Utah for work and looked up somewhere for breakfast. We came to Moose Cafe and sweet baby Jesus it was the best breakfast I had in a long time! I'm Hispanic and have had huevos rancheros in several parts of Mexico and California. This was by far the best huevos rancheros I had ever had! Perfect amount of each ingredient. The pico de gallo was amazing and had the perfect tang. Three crispy corn tortillas layered with ingredients oh my goodness.... #foodporn anyway, thank you ladies from The Moose Cafe! Googled a breakfast spot on our way home from park city and this spot came up. Looked at some pics and it looked good so we stopped in. A little pricy but its park city so it made sense. Got our breakfast and I got two eggs, four shriveled up bacon strips, FRENCH FRIES for my potatoes and one small slice of toast. I had to go home and eat . Don't waste your time. read more

It was better than ok. The view was nice and I was glad to be able to eat outside and have the dog with us. Hubby has the eggs Benedict, which he said tasted good but was a little light on the hollandaise sauce. I had the American. The bacon was crazy good, The eggs had great flavor but my yolks were over done so They wasn't a runny yolk to dip into. The sourdough toast was very flavorful, but they didn't put any butter on it and when they brought me butter it was cold so my English muffin didn't melt it. I wasn't offered any jelly and our server was nice enough but not all that attentive. I'd still go back and try it again. read more

Started with the cheap plastic cutlery. A plastic 8 Oz glass of iced tea cost me $4.00! No refill, wasn't even asked. The "menu" was a two sided make it yourself item. Ordered a chicken sandwich. The waitress came by about 10 minutes later and asked if I wanted ham on my breakfast sandwich. Through limited English on her part, got that sorted out. Tried to use the restroom, women's out of order. With trepidation, I looked in the men's. No lock on the door and cleanliness wasn't a factor. No thank you. For the price, food was mediocre. We came here for breakfast, there wasn't a wait and the place seemed pretty dead. It's a little awkward when you walk in.. I think they are trying a little too hard. The food on the other hand was pretty good. Chicken fried steak is yummy. It doesn't have a great atmosphere. The tables are set up weird and there's no great place to sit. The only reason we came here was because No Worries had a super long wait and we were starving. That would probably be the only reason we would ever come back. read more
