I Had checked prices on line & saw tickets were $49 for 1-day passes. Looked great! However when we arrived in person at the ticket booth on April 9th & wanted to purchase 4 tickets, it was $85 per ticket for 1-day passes! $340 for 4 people I thought I had misread the on-line price. But we hadn't. Prices are NOT consistent. Most dates are $45. Some days were $53. For whatever reason 4/9 was $85. It made zero sense & I felt scammed! It would have been cheaper to drive ourselves & pay for parking & skip sites we had no little interest in. Or, get on the actual red San Diego Trolley & explore that way. Our driving "J" seemed nice, but commentary was a mix of really cheesy jokes & facts. When we got off & re-boarded again hours later, we were a bit bummed to have the same driver again. He seemed a bit..frazzled cause we were running a little late, traffic was building up around 4pm & some kids on the trolley were loud, which required him to talk over them. He frequently stopped & asked us all to lower our voices, even though it was 2 parents 3 unruly kids doing ALL the yapping disrupting the tour. Listening to them made me regret even more we paid $320 for this experience. IF you do this activity check/get tickets on-line so you can actually see the prices that specific day & avoid paying double & feeling ripped off. The overall experience wasnt work $320 & I'll never take visiting guest in this tour again

I've done this San Diego Seal Tour twice now and it's very much my vibe. The staff is always very…read morefriendly, giving a lot of great info, it's relaxing sailing on the water, and most importantly - you see a bunch of cute Sea Lions. That's one of the first things you learn on the tour, you won't see seals despite the name. Rather you see a bunch of adorable sea lions chilling out in their usual spot in the harbor. When I went in 2021, two adult tickets were $75.60. When I went this past weekend 2026, tickets were $118.04. I like meeting at their Seaport Village location as you can grab a coffee at Spill the Beans first or tacos after - tons of food and drink options nearby. Parking is rough though! If you get there early morning, you're golden. Otherwise, I'd suggest ridesharing as back when I went in 2021 I spent soooo much time circling trying to snag a parking spot. Check in is easy, then you are on their water & sea vehicle for the entire time of the tour about 1.5 hours. When you are driving to the harbor on the highway, it gets incredibly windy in the open air vehicle. So if you are concerned with hair, bring a hairtie or wear a hat, otherwise you gonna look crazzzzzzy. I loved the Seal Tour so much I came back to do it again! That's saying something.

I thought the demonstration was overwhelming and I would I loved some time to practice before getting out there . But my husband drove so that made it a non issue . The workers were kind , helpful and fun even took our photos. I would recommend if you run cold , wear sunglasses . put a blanket on your lap, wear a jacket and my husband would recommend wearing gloves when driving .There was a missing cup holder in our car so we needed to stuff our water near the back. There is a trunk which was nice and you can unplug the cars gps if you want to stop and walk around but our gps had a hard time reconnecting but when we called they were able to walk us through . The gps was a little delayed sometimes . But those cookies that were listed on the route from uncle Bill's killer cookies was amazing . Mine were fresher from the oven so would def recommend them.

The location is easy to find, and parking is easy to find ( there is a huge parking structure next door). We were met by Kevin who was our guide for the tour. Awesome personality with a friendly demeanor. His knowledge of the San Diego area is impressive. He was full of fun facts about the city. The course was delightful and the bikes were easy to ride. PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS. The guide will have some friendly trivia for a chance to win good cash prices, free drinks, gift cards, etc I think that was pretty fun to include in while getting a tour. If you are sensitive to getting seasick, I would recommend a Dramamine beforehand. Although the boat was spacious, it still felt the wakes from the other boats and you can go rocking. In addition there were slow times of moving and turning. Or you can just chuck down a few drinks and feel numb to it all! They have a Tiki Bar with a drink menu (no food) to purchase from and if you bring snacks to eat - you can't eat it on the boat. Drinks were good but their "house" made shots were pretty good! We had a couple rounds of those while on tour - paid round by a passenger or a free shot in the house by the staff. The awkward but not so awkward would be mingling with other folks on the boat that you don't know. One of my friends kept interjecting with another party and while they seem to not mind I could tell they were being polite but if it were me I'd probs be annoyed if someone kept interjecting while I'm having a good time with my friends. No one ever mentioned a deposit was required, so I assumed my reservation was confirmed. When I arrived, I was told they didn't have my gondola reserved. It was extremely upsetting and honestly ruined my birthday celebration. What made it more frustrating was that it made me feel like it was my fault for not paying a deposit, even though I was never asked to provide one. Unfortunately, there weren't any real solutions offered at the time, and my friends had work schedules, so we couldn't simply reschedule. It was a very disappointing experience. I hope to return in the future and have the experience I originally planned, but I do hope there is clearer communication moving forward so others don't experience the same issue.

We started out at the Our Lady of the Rosary Church for the history of the Italians coming to San Diego. It was stunning the day after Christmas and some of the Pastors were there too. Then we went through The Piazza to Davanti's where we had a cocktail, Pizza, Bruschetta and Ricotta cheese toast with honey ... SO YUMMY!!! We stayed here a bit long for all this food but they accommodate me having a pine nut allergy which was very nice. Then onward to Landini's (the upstairs restaurant) where we had meatballs and pancetta with mozzarella with a little red wine ... again incredible!! We were late for our last stop before dessert so he improvised in the best way possible and Monello's accommodated our party of 11 with a liqueur, bread with shaved amazing cheese then the mist heavenly lemon cheese homemade pasta stirred together in a cheese wheel. We were stuffed by this point but then we had dessert. Salunto bakery and gelato. I had coconut gelato. What a great night. We got history, a beautiful walk and the most food I've ever had on a food tour. Excellent job!!!
