Joseph and his team at BajaRex are amazing. I messaged him and he was able to move things around to get me in next day. Long story short I had some work from another mechanic they cut some corners and Joseph was able to get everything fixed within a couple hours. They are fully equipped to do any job and they aren't trying to break the bank for labor. Make sure to consider them next time you are in need of a Motorsport mechanic.

Bajarex Motorsports is orange county's hidden gem. It's hard to find a place that won't try and take advantage of you for a quick buck. This is a shop that thrives on being transparent with the customer and really making you feel taken care of. They were able to help me with my suspension, wiring for my lights, a lot more. Another shop tried scamming me into paying $6000 in parts and labor with a turnaround time that was absurd. Bajarex did it for less than half of that along with sending me updates and pictures as each job was done. Saved me over $3500 and got it done in 3 days. If you want a shop that has a strong foundation on integrity, this is it. Thanks Joseph and the team for treating my vehicle as of it were your own. I will be coming back for future work to be done.

I want to give credit, where credit is due. I was able to contact him and schedule service quick and easy. The crew at Baja Rex Motorsports was able to promptly service my 2018 Toyota Tundra. He also took the time to complete a thorough bumper to bumper inspection and I was shocked. He was able to identify that my front brake pads were almost complete worn to the metal plate. I went with his recommendations and replaced them right away. He even took the time to go pick up the parts himself to ensure my truck was completed in a timely manner. Without his help... I could have been driving and then unable to stop in time resulting an accident or worse an injury. I will be returning to his shop for all of my truck service needs.

This shop was highly recommended to me by a fellow Tundra owner. I wanted to upgrade my upper control arms and get alignment. Tundras on bigger wheels have a special way to do alignment. I've had two other shops do alignment and it would be near perfect, but would pull to the right a little. Bajarex was the one who finally got it perfectly aligned. When I let go of the steering wheel on the freeway, the truck drives straight. Makes long rides much more comfortable.

Dropped my truck off for a few days to get some work done. Great prices and customer service. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants to get service on their trucks or upgrades for off-roading.

    Long travel set up

Great shop. Safe location. Thorough mechanics. The owner is an off-roader himself and knows his stuff. The shop is always spotless. I had my long travel installed on my tundra here as well as other work on my other vehicles. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone looking for a fair priced , knowledgeable staff.

They called me almost everyday to update me on the process, any costs, or timing concerns. Gino handles the front and was extremely personable, helpful, and honest throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything clearly and never made me feel pressured into unnecessary repairs. Jose did the actual work on my car and did a fantastic job -- my Fiat is running great! My ac was causing lots of issues and has been running cold for a week now! I am always hesitant to have just anyone work and the Fiat but he clearly knew the car and specific details. It's really refreshing to find a shop that feels trustworthy, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about their customers. I would absolutely recommend Gino and Jose, especially to anyone looking for someone comfortable working on European cars. I'll definitely be coming back!

After that repair, my check engine light suddenly came on--even though it wasn't on before. The first shop told me it was a problem with the mass air flow sensor and tried to charge me to fix it, which didn't feel right to me. So I decided to come here for a second opinion, and I'm really glad I did. The mechanic took the time to properly diagnose the issue and walked me through everything step by step. Within about an hour, he figured out that it wasn't the air flow sensor at all--it was just a blown fuse. That alone saved me a lot of money and potentially from being overcharged elsewhere. What really stood out was the honesty and communication. He explained clearly what went wrong, didn't try to upsell anything, and made sure I understood the situation. On top of that, he even aired up my tires for free, which was a nice touch. Fast, honest, and affordable service like this is hard to find. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this shop to others.

My car needed a full synthetic oil change. If you have a coupon, make sure to present it at check-in. The coupon I had was for an oil change starting at $39.90. It cost $79 after taxes for my oil change; which is about average price nowadays. Since I couldn't use their complimentary shuttle services, I decided to wait there. It took about an hour for them to finish. They take cash or card as a method of payment. Thankfully there's no extra fee for using card.

Jesse is the reason my cat is alive…read more Last weekend, during the Garden Grove toxic chemical evacuation, my tuxedo cat decided that the undercarriage of my cousin's Tesla Model Y was a great hiding spot. It was not. He was wedged in there for 12 hours with no food, no water, and zero litter box access. He was absolutely losing it. I ran through every option. Fire department? Busy with the actual chemical explosion rattling all of OC, fair. Animal control? Ghosted me. My cousin, currently out of the country, tried Tesla Roadside Assistance through the app. Tesla's answer: their technicians are not trained to rescue animals. Noted, but deeply unhelpful in the moment. Two other mechanics passed too. Jesse was my third Yelp attempt and my last real option. He showed up within two hours, no fuss, and got straight to work. He tried everything - the frunk, underneath, removing the right wheel - methodically working different angles for an hour and a half because my cat had chosen the most inconvenient possible position to be chonky in. Jesse stayed patient the entire time and got him out safely. My cat is home. He is fine. He is completely unbothered, as cats are. Jesse showed up when nobody else could. That is not something I will forget. Oh, and his prices are insanely reasonable. If you need a mechanic who will actually show up and problem-solve, Jesse is your guy.

I paid Jesse $120 toward motorcycle service, and apparently accepting payment was the only part of…read morethe job he was interested in completing. I had ordered a part and was waiting for it to arrive, so about a month passed. During that entire time, Jesse never contacted me to ask whether the part had arrived or to follow up on the work I had already paid him to do. I eventually had to reach out to him myself. Over the following three weeks, I sent multiple text messages and called several times, all of which were ignored. After getting nowhere, I called from a different number--and suddenly Jesse answered. His excuse was that he had been "busy." I asked him to send me my money back and he hung up and blocked my number. In total, nearly two months passed after he took my money with no communication, no follow-up, and no attempt to complete the service. Being busy may explain a delayed response. It does not explain ignoring a paying customer for over two months while continuing to keep their money. That is not poor time management; it is poor business practice. There was an $80 diagnostic fee, so technically I am only out $40. Financially, it is not a huge loss. Professionally, however, it says everything I need to know about this business. A reputable business does not take payment, fail to complete the agreed-upon service, ignore every attempt at communication, and then offer excuses only after being reached from a number it does not recognize. The motorcycle needed a diagnosis, but the bigger problem turned out to be the business itself: unreliable, unresponsive, and completely lacking in accountability. I would not trust Jesse with my motorcycle again, and I certainly would not recommend paying him anything upfront.
