The combo options are rice, Spanish rice, refried beans, and black beans. I chose the Spanish rice and black beans. The tacos were so good! A bit on the smaller side, but the perfect portion for the combo. I saw some people have the quesadillas and they looked soo good. If I'm back in the area, I plan to try them. This place is really a hidden gem in Temecula. They use the freshest ingredients and every item on their menu is so flavorful! By far my favorite is the chicken Al pastor and surf and turf tacos but the Ensenada fries really take the cake, i can't go back to normal asada fries after this. The owner victor and his crew put their hearts into making some of the best Mexican food you'll have in the entire city. My buddy and I proceeded to order and we got each two tacos, and a carne asada quesadilla. He asked for a Modelo and I asked for a Michelada as it was only a dollar more for a 20 oz beer. The lady at the register said I could pick whatever beer I'd like so I told her I'd like Modelo as well. The staff was friendly, there was nobody else in the restaurant so therefore the food came out on time and looked good. I don't know if I'd give it a 4.5 star rating but it was Ok. I was visiting as I'm from North San Diego County and the Mexican food and tacos down there are really hard to beat in quality and size. I wanted to take a glance at my receipt as I thought it might have been a little high priced. As I looked at my receipt I noticed that I was charged $8 for a modelo beer and was added $3 for a chamoya michelada. This clearly wasn't what I ordered. I went to the front cashier and I told them that I ordered a 20 oz michelada with a Modelo and was charged $11. The cashier at the front register was a different cashier that rang me up and made my michelada. The cashier told me that yes they know that is not the right price on the menu and this issue has come up many times but the Ownership has not fixed the menu price. At this point I was a little frustrated but I didn't want to argue and make a scene with anybody, however the cashier just kept saying they know, they know, they're sorry, they're sorry but wouldn't correct the situation at all. I was looking for a refund of $5 or at least some type of credit for the future, but nothing at all was said from the cashier and just went along doing her own business. This in my opinion is terrible Customer Service not to acknowledge a customer and address the issue to alleviate further problems in the future. Moreover this is poor management that continues to leave an issue that is incorrect for consumers to interpret and further to be taken advantage of. It is so easy to just put a piece of paper over the price to correct it on the spot as a short-term action until you can scrape up enough money to buy another menu panel for your restaurant. For this action I will not be coming back to this taco shop in the future. read more

Ordered 3 tacos (Birria, shrimp, and battered fish) extremely bland! Also ordered the TJ corn never thought you could actually ruin corn! It was burnt and tasted extremely over cooked! Cashier is super friendly. Absolutely love walking in and seeing a smiling face. The location is small but just perfect for a fish taco place. They do have a couple TVs if you want to watch a game. We ordered the shrimp burrito, bean and cheese burrito, chicken enchilada with chicken taco and chips and guacamole. I just moved here from San Diego and I'm so happy I found this place, absolutely delicious. I really like this place because it's very fresh and it's not greasy and the beans don't taste like pig fat. I've been getting the shrimp tacos and the Baja fish taco with a side of rice and beans. This is our favorite place for burritos & tacos. So many seafood options & even a carne Asada for the meat eaters. My husband ordered the 1000 burrito. It's basically like a California burrito, carne asada, fries, pico, guac & a special sauce. The carne is tender & flavorful. I got the 4 fish tacos. Half grilled, half battered. At first I thought it was a little bland, but the bottled sauces they have just takes it to a whole new level & makes it amazing. The white sauce is the mild, a garlicky, slightly tangy sour cream. The peach colored sauce is the medium, probably a chipotle sour cream. The green sauce is the hot. Maybe a jalapeño sour cream? Spicy, but has a great flavor. I also tried their marlin crisp. I thought it was corned beef at first. Lol but I googled it and it's fish. Has a stronger flavor, tons of flavor. It was tasty. They have taco tuesdays. Either your choice of 2 tacos with a side of beer or fountain drink for $5. Or the 4 fish tacos for $6. You can order the fish taco special from Tuesday-Thursday. Service is always great. My first night in Temecula and everyone said go get tacos. Off we went. I looked on yelp for trusty reviews and found Baja and was ready to venture in and have an experience. I ordered a burrito, daughter got a quesadilla and partner got fish tacos. My burrito was huge! Her quesadilla was huge and the tacos were also large portions. I was impressed with the fresh ingredients. They offer homemade sauces which you need to try. I was in heaven trying the mild and spicy. They also brought out some refrigerated sauces and I don't recall the names but they were tasty! It's in a tiny spot but there's a bit of seating and plenty of tvs to keep you entertained while waiting. We couldn't finish our meal and for the piece we were surprised! One of the cheapest meals we had for the week and we recommended to our friends. When I am back I want to try the tacos as I was told they are fabulous! read more

We had the mahi tacos meal and a chicken enchilada meal (which I am happy to report was lovely, shredded, all white meat chicken! ). Everything tasted fresh and was really good. I don't think the enchilada sauce was homemade, but I can't knock them for it .. since it was still flavorful and enchiladas are probably not the main attraction here.
