This is officially my new go-to spot for rolled taquitos! Their flautas are hands down some of the best I've had. Everything we've tried so far has been fresh, flavorful, and really delicious. They have a friendly staff and their service is fast, which is a huge plus. They have a casual taco shop with seating, plus a separate full bar area that's perfect for watching a game or hanging out with friends having some drinks. (Just make sure to have a designated driver or grab an Uber home!) Today on my search for the best breakfast burrito in the area, I stuck to the Bacon Breakfast Burrito to be able to compare evenly to others. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. I've door dashed this place a dozen times so it's good to get in and see it's very well kept. Wouldn't be a bad place to watch sports either, many TVs and lots of seating. 2 guys working the counter this morning were friendly and this is obviously a blue collar staple as several came through to get breakfast to-go. The salsa bar has 5 options and a bonus behind-the-counter by request only habanero! All were good, nothing jumped out as something I'd want a jar of. The habanero is definitely the only one you'll find any substantial heat. Sensitive palates will definitely feel it with the salsa bar "hot" options, but get the habanero is you like the excitement of a good burn. The burrito is a decent size, satisfying but not filling. Inside is everything I typically don't like in a bacon breakfast burrito, but this one held up and was enjoyable. First it has beans, which can really overwhelm a breakfast burrito. These were flavorful and subtly applied, not at all overwhelming. The eggs were more of a fresh griddle fold than a fluffy scramble, I prefer the scramble, but they cooked them in a way that created a nice layered effect. Cheese and hashbrown style-ish potatoes applied on the layer of egg and then bacon generously applied. The layering definitely made this an enjoyable burrito to eat despite my preferences generally being otherwise. 5 stars for location, parking, cleanliness and overall welcoming interior. 5 stars for the staff working this morning, orders were taken quickly and they were patient with a few difficult customers I saw come through. 4.6 stars for the burrito, and this is because I prefer it done differently. If I could rate my experience at half a star I would. Wreaked of old rotting trash upon entry. There was one table of two customers in there. The three ladies at the counters were just chatting and acted like I was interrupting them when I wanted to order. The young woman who took my order had major attitude rolled her eyes when I asked for fajita style carne asada and when I was confirming the meat I wanted in my burrito she acted my question was the stupidest question ever. When I requested a super taco as my husband had just had one the other day she said they had never had that. One of the other ladies came up to the counter and said that I needed to go to the other location if I wanted that because they don't do that type of taco. I left mid order. On the way out they were trashing me saying I must be dumb confusing the locations, in Spanish like I couldn't understand them. I am very very pale but come from a Hispanic background. I drove to the lake elsinore location, which is my normal place of business. Save yourself the horrible experience and go to the Lake Elsinore location instead of here, there they are actually happy to see customers and are always busy, not to mention they treat you with respect. I really want to like this place but something always disappoints. Let me start by saying that their customer service was awesome. They made me feel like a valued customer. What was disappointing was the California burrito that I ordered. I asked her to add guacamole. She did not charge me for it which is good because there was barely any guacamole in the burrito. The burrito was small, did not have much flavor and the fries were mushy. It wasn't the worst I have tried but not nearly one of the best. Stopped in while passing through Murrieta. Loved the decor and ambiance, great music and the service was great, it was of no importance or issue to me but you do have to serve your own ice and hand back the cup to the employees when ordering horchata. They don't have an ice machine on their end. Again it took all of 2 seconds to get ice and hand the cup back just a heads up though! They have an extensive menu and a small but delicious salsa bar. If you need lime, you have to ask for that as well, not a big deal to me either. The food was pretty good! I ordered two orders of beef taquitos, 2 chicken tacos and a large drink and it came out to just under $40. A bit pricier than what I normally pay for a similar meal but it was really good and filling. read more

Personally I wouldn't come here, food prices are too expensive for how small the dishes are, my friend got a California burrito that was small and was 50% just cheese that wasn't melted, I got the quesadilla supreme which two out of 3 pieces were all cheese and only 6 small pieces of meet. Customer service was bad it wasn't busy and while waiting for my food I decided to go back and order a horchata, the young lady gave me a the receipt with a number and walked away instead of turning around and serving it ‍. The food was always amazing but now so is the customer service. One employee who really stands out is Briana. She is so great at making sure customers are getting served quickly and with a smile. Went specifically to this location to get them, due to a really good NextDoor app posting / recommendation...even though we actually have one of these shops right on our own corner. No matter, because the nachos were SO filling that they could have been a stand-alone meal...and my hubby is a BIG guy, 6'3"; we just couldn't even finish the sopes. Too full! so I went in to El Ranchito in Murrieta because I have been a long time customer of the one in poway for over 25 years and can say over the 25 years have earned a 5 star rating with me and everyone I know from the customer service to the amazing food poway. El Ranchito = 5 stars So my friend order the carne asada nachos and I got a carne asada burritto. Upon ordering I asked if we could get the beans on the side like we do every time at the poway store with no problem, they put them in a cup that be said the cashier tells me he can put them on the side of the plate of the nachos because there will be a enough beans to put it a cup. Which is not what I wanted because the person eating the nachos didn't Want them on there plate so I was so shock since I have never had a Mexican restaurant ever tell me that especially after giving them a 5 dollars tip. The reason I bring that up the tip is because I ask for the beans on the side after I had tipped the cashier 5 dollars.when I was a server I would have never say that to a customer and especially not one just tipped me the worst customer service I've received easily in the last year. know I will never be coming back to this particular store again or any other ones this owner owns. read more
