There were two associates there, helping out customers, making sure customers are checking out in quick time, while also restocking the cakes. Of course we love their new mix match feature where we get to pick the flavors we wanted among 8 different flavors of mini cupcakes. I was able to pull up my rewards account using my email, got the points for my purchase. The cup cakes are tiny and delicious. My 5 yo loves to have a pair of them as her snack. I visited the Paramus location. I didn't realize it is a kiosk. Nevertheless, I got the OG favorite six pack. They were very fresh and the service was friendly. The mall itself is also very nice. Baked by Melissa is a perennial favorite of mine. My favorite flavor is peanut butter and jelly and I like that they come out with different flavors each month. The difficult part about the Paramus kiosk is that you cannot choose the flavors individually. You must purchase them prepackaged. The cupcakes are a bit pricey, but I really enjoy them and ship them nationwide to friends. They are a very nice option for parties because they are small and you can try a lot of them. read more

Okay here I am, brought in by Tik Tok en route from NJ to NYC. We made a little side trip to get these cupcakes before getting into city bc who knows what parking is like. This location is in the mall. I got the The Oh My Gluten-Free Cupcakes pack of 25 and paid a whopping 44 which is 1.75 per cupcake for something the size of a quarter haha. My husband and I were both a little shook when she said 44, but when in Rome! Cup cakes were tasty, but not amazing. Really liked the red velvet and cinnamon ones. Baked by Melissa is an absolute treat, always. Pre-covid I always frequented this location while at GSP. A small sleeve of 3 cupcakes is the perfect amount for a pick me up snack. Though all flavors are good, I'm partial to the peanut butter and jelly and cookie dough. I could exclusively eat these two flavors with no others and never get bored. They also are continuously adding on new flavors and seasonal specials. On special occasions my hubby will get me a 25 pack and it's THE BEST. Though dangerous because of how teeny and easy to eat they are. They have different 25 pack combos but my go-to is always the classics because they have most of my favorites. You can also opt to try the latest and greatest if you want some new flavors. During Covid I've been ordering through their website and have sent gifts to friends for different occasions. Obviously it's hard when you can't be at special life events IRL, so their speedy delivery has been really appreciated. You can even select your date of delivery so you know exactly when it'll arrive. The packaging is super cute and they have all sorts of boxes for different occasions. I've sent a few boxes to friends with new babies, and though they do have special boxes I don't love that they only come with all pink or blue, so I've been opting for a general Congrats box with a variety. But, nice to know that you can order a special blue or pink cupcake box if you think the recipient would enjoy. As expected, the price for the special treat is a bit hefty. A box of 25 minis will run you nearly $60, and close to half of the cost is shipping. But, the cupcakes are quality, the packaging is beautiful and it's been a nice way to send some sweet (quite literally) long distance love to some of my new mama pals. Highly suggest if you have a reason to send someone a sweet treat. It will put a smile on their face. read more

Purchased the 25 pack of mini gluten free cupcakes from Melissa's in Lower Manhattan for my wife and sons birthday. Both have Celiac Disease and the two local bakeries that I usually buy from were closed. The price of the 25 pack was $49.00, what you would pay for a box of quality chocolate. Add on the packaging and a tip it came to $70.00. Now I can't comment on the non gluten free cupcakes but I would avoid the G.F. ones. You pay almost $15.00 more for a tasteless and possibly previously frozen product that was so miniscule that one person could eat all 25 and still have room for more. read more

These cupcakes are definitely very cute and tasty but you're really just paying a premium for the hype more so than anything else (and such is the world we live in). Maybe it's just me but I feel like they've gotten even smaller over the years. They used at least be shaped like normal cupcakes but now they're basically flat pieces of dough, almost like a small, dough-y cookie. Whether or not it's worth it is up to you to decide but I see nothing wrong with stopping by here once in a while to grab a few while you're at the mall. They have a variety of different flavors, my favorites have always been the PB&J and Cookie Dough ones. You can probably eat a half dozen of them (if not more) and it would equal one regular sized cupcake (calories-wise). read more

Super yummy and sweet! The perfect little bites. The salted caramel macaroons and PB n J cupcakes were my favorite! I could eat a dozen PB n J in a matter of seconds. Really cool concept, tons of kids hanging out begging parents to buy them. They are pretty small and the price is a little high at $1/piece (that's part of surviving as a small business though, so I get it); but they are extremely delicious. The pack came with 25 mini cupcakes with several flavors. The cake is super moist that it left a liquid residue on my thumb and forefinger and the icing is pretty good. Every time I go to Garden State Plaza, I always end up getting cupcakes here because my daughter is obsessed with them. They have a decent variety, they always taste like they are fresh from the oven and I like that they add new cupcake flavors every month. My daughter and I always get the tie dye (hands down our favorite) and any other that's new. The service is always nice and I love how they always have tattoos or stickers for my daughter. I don't know what it is that she likes more: the decoration/colors of the cupcakes, the taste or the free sticker/tattoo. My only complain is that the cupcakes are extremely small and pricey. 4 of these cupcakes would make a regular mini-cupcake, they are waaay to small. I used to work in GSP so I loved being a batch of these home to have with a tall glass of milk!!! They have so many different flavors. Some with fillings some without. Didn't complain but later that night I wish I did when I brought them to a party and was in shock of how soggy they were and had condensation droplets on them. I have been coming here almost weekly for cupcakes for ever. A few weeks ago I had an issue where an employee completely ignored me to speak to her friend, even put her hand up to her face to make sure I got the picture. At first I just left and then I turned around and saw her laughing. I went right back up there and spoke to the manager Bonnie, who is the entire reason I keep going here. She handled the issue respectfully, apologized to me and handled it with class. She spoke to the employee privately after I left, which I respect even more.
