Bacon egg and cheese bagel with avocado!
    Hailey A.

We came here for breakfast on a rainy Saturday morning and it was so busy! The space is a little tight, but there's 3-4 tables outside to sit at, otherwise plan on taking your breakfast to the beach! Bagel was hot, a huge piece of egg, and the bacon was chewy and good! Recommend getting some cream cheese on the bagel because it was a little dry. I will say the sandwich was a little overpriced for me.

Delicious homemade pastries! Gigantic cinnamon roll with homemade cream cheese. Nilla cold brew was delicious too! Go early. Line forms quickly!

    Egg sandwich

DONT GO OVERPRICED Bad coffee sandwiches were bad too. We ordered iced vanilla lattes they came out black and watered down- we had to add sugar and milk. The place itself had safety issues, we thought it was cute from the outside but we're seriously let down with the coffee. Save your money! They charged us 10.75 for a breakfast sandwich with microwave eggs. We also ordered the veggie delight sandwich and it looked nothing at all like it does in the photo on the menu. 40 dollars for three coffees and two sandwiches A SCAMMMM.

    Bacon egg and cheese

I never leave reviews but this is by far the worst bacon egg and cheese I've ever had. The egg is horrible, the bagel is either frozen or bought in a bag from the supermarket. Not worth what they are charging.... Just don't do it

Stopped here off of highway 1 on our way home from a beach weekend. The selection of baked goods remind you that your eyes are bigger than your stomach. We had the coffee cake (moist!) and M&M cookie (melt in your mouth), and the coffee was solid. We would not recommend the breakfast sandwich or breakfast burrito, which were bland and lifeless in our opinion. Stick to the sweets.

    "iced mocha latte"

I can't say much about baked goods or desserts, so I won't comment on them, however, if you know anything about coffee, do not order your drinks from here. The product they consistently serve is not what's promised. I have been lucky enough to work in numerous cafes for a few years learning about all the intricacies of the coffee world, so when I came to visit Dewey, obviously, I was on the hunt for a solid coffee shop. I stumbled across Baked and was excited. My sister ordered an iced mocha (which should be comprised of espresso, chocolate, and milk) and I ordered a cold brew (which should be cold coffee steeped overnight). Both drinks tasted exactly the same, burnt and like water. We threw them both away as soon as we got home. The mocha was clearly not made with any espresso (I'm not even sure there was any sort of milk) and was drowned with chocolate syrup and whipped cream. The cold brew tasted like day-old gas station coffee poured over ice. Absolute disgrace. It's honestly a shame and an insult to any proper cafe or coffee lover. If you appreciate good coffee, head elsewhere.

Worst bacon, egg and cheese ever.

Stopping here was a mistake for so many reasons but do NOT get the bacon & egg & cheese -- it is inedible. They do not cook the bacon or the eggs and don't have sliced cheese. The "eggs" look like a brick. Everything is microwaved. Stick to a bagel and cream cheese (which did look good!). Also, don't come if you're in a rush. Waited an hour (they lost my order initially) and my coffee order was also wrong.

Bacon Egg and Cheese on a Plain

If I could give this place a 0/10 I would. First of all, it's dirty and there was actual debris on the $4 small can of La Croix. To make matters worse, they have actual 10 year old children making the food. To top it all off, the bagel is a disgusting joke. Bread is hard as a rock and they thought it was acceptable to put a piece of velveeta looking microwaved egg on a sandwich. Unacceptable prices and presentation. DO NOT waste your money or time on this dump.

Best Sweet Rolls and Sticky Buns around. A good variety of all sweets, and salads, breakfast and lunch sandwiches and always served with a smile. They will even ship for you. Try them out! See pictures. Yum!!

Fresh OJ, chocolate chip muffin, plain donut w/glaze
    Kate D.

While I was browsing at the baked good options someone walked out from the back and I was greeted with a friendly smile and a hello. The total price ( my order + my tip) was what I would expect for a freshly baked treat. I took a bite of each as soon as I got back to my rental. They were absolutely delicious! I almost forgot to take a photo. The baked goods are huge, I had already eaten over half when I took this photo. I personally don't have a huge sweet tooth and I don't like when things are too sweet. These are right at the edge, I love them! The muffin has the perfect amount of chocolate flavor, it's not mushy, it's cooked all the way throughout, and has a slight crunch on the top. The donut I personally like better than Dunkin' or Krispy Kreme. It's a little bit heavier and thicker than either of there's. The glaze isn't taking over the flavor of the donut itself. The orange juice tastes fresh. Overall a great experience.

I got a matcha latte and wasn't asked what kind of milk which I thought was odd. They ran out of cold brew as well and the iced americano was mid. When we walked in, there was an off putting smell, not sure if was due to the bathrooms being right there, nonetheless it was off putting. Would love to see them extend their breakfast items longer, albeit it'd be way past actual breakfast time. Was hoping to grab a burrito!

We made it there on our second day and it's clear that this seems to be a favorite to both locals and visitors. Upon arriving, it was pretty difficult to find parking as all of the spots were taken, so we quickly located a spot on the residential street nearby. Walking in, the line was almost to the front door, but I didn't mind as it gave me plenty of time to peruse the menu for coffee and breakfast options. I loved seeing the coffee beans available for purchase as well as some of their merchandise on my way to the counter, in addition to admiring the hand-painted murals and so many cool seating options. The tables have really beautiful woodworking, many of which have raw edges which add a lot of personality. Order up! I opted for an iced latte with an extra shot of espresso (because I definitely needed an energy boost that day) and coconut flavoring, frozen matcha, the breakfast sandwich, and a glazed doughnut. I was really intrigued by the coffee smoothie which was featured and highlighted in multiple spaces. The term "smoothie" threw me off but I discovered from a fellow patron that it's simply a frozen blended coffee and they order it all the time. Loved checking out the outdoor seating options as well as the bar that shares the same local, Mary and Margs (SUCH a great name). Since we came in later in the morning/early afternoon, there were already quite a few people flocking to the barstools, ordering espresso martinis, which looked divine. I have to say that my coffee was delightful, you can tell that the beans were freshly ground and the extra shot of espresso really did the trick for me. The frozen matcha was delicious, 10/10, no notes! Would definitely get that again and would try the coffee smoothie next time. I ate my entire breakfast sandwich because I was starving but was expecting a lot more. The homemade biscuit is what intrigued me the most but I think I've been spoiled with some really amazing housemaid biscuit sandwiches back home so this one really fell short for me; it was kind of hard, a little burnt. All in all, this is a really cute, trendy spot, which seems to attract people of all ages with a very robust menu from morning to evening. Definitely want to come back and check out more items!

Unfortunately, the breakfast sandwich wasn't where it was at: the egg tasted more like microwaved egg, definitely wasn't fresh and somewhere the bacon tasted bland and tough like cardboard. The highlights were the drinks for sure! The mango smoothie was deliciously frozen and refreshing; perfect for a hot summer day. The service was okay, decently welcoming but not the best. Since we ordered to go, we were given our food in bags and boxes not on plates; they were placed on a ledge hanging on the table for us to grab. The space was so cute, decorated with coffee signs and many places to sit and the ambience was lovely with some frequent regulars who striked up great conversation with our family.

The results are super fresh right out of the hot oil bath doughnuts full a warmth and strong flavors to excite your tongue. No wonder it is an institution in this part of the world. Their colors are mostly deep pastel, matched by strong flavors that really stand out. Perhaps because we stopped by on a snowy morning in early December, our box of a half dozen warmed my hands as I walked back to the car parked right in front. We drove a ways before opening the lavender box to sample the first ones. We found them soft and friable, so that they were difficult to pick up in one piece. They fell apart on touching, requiring us to remove them carefully to avoid further crumble onto car seats and floor. Should have grabbed more napkins. Still, despite the minor mess, they did excite the tongue due to their strong flavors and uber freshness. Eaten with hot Java as washdown, it was self explanatory why they were so popular and had been around in the same location of Coastal Highway for decades. Ownership still makes and serves the doughnuts, and was happy to shoot the sh*t with this stranger while working the assembly line. These cake dough boys are the real deal. If you're into Duck Donuts and Krispy Kremes, Fractured Prune will definitely float your boat. 5 Sweet Stars
