The service was great everyone was really friendly, polite and they were fast to bring our order out. The restaurant itself wasn't very clean each booth and table was dirty. I used to love Bakers! They had awesome fries on par with McDonalds, good portions, tasty tortillas great burgers that were almost in-n-out good. The prices were always on par too. That's all changed. The fries are different, the portions are small. My chicken burrito barely had chicken in it, all rice! Whoever changed the menu messed up big time. I can't see myself coming back. I know it's hard on restaurants right now, but they can either raise prices or have smaller portions or less quality. Not all 3, such a shame. We came to this location, like we do most Tuesdays. There was a customer that came in and wasted 20 min of the supervisors day arguing about an order that was incorrect. She was yelling at the staff, so loud that we could hear her clearly from the back of the restaurant. Customers even walked out because the lady was monopolizing the staff and the counter space. She spoke without allowing the employee to respond, the Bakers employee did not react to the unruly customer. They told her that she needed to leave or they would call the police. So excited to learn they have vegetarian tacos on the menu! I like hard shells so I got the Original Tacos, but you can also get the veg option in their Soft Tacos and Texas Tacos (flour tortilla). The dining room was half full and there were several cars in the drive thru, but I got my meal in about 7 minutes, which I don't consider a long wait. The restaurant was very clean and the employees friendly and efficient. My meal was delivered to my table by a very nice lady who asked if I needed anything else and wished me a good evening. The tacos were made right, just like pictured on the menu board, and they were well seasoned, filling and delicious. I've only eaten at Baker's a few times and always got burritos, but no more. The quality of the food taste and size here is amazing. The service was swift and the establishment was clean... as well as the bathrooms. If you are ever in the neighborhood this Bakers is hidden behind a jack in the box... go around and come here. Literally the taste of the burrito brought me back to my teen years. Watch out for what you are getting in your order. This location was doing so good once upon a time however, lately I have gone and the fries are soggy, maybe half cooked. Having been coming to bakers for years quality and quantity have plummeted. While prices have skyrocketed $45 dollars worth of food got home to find 5 hot sauce packets in the bag and that was after asking for extra. I absolutely love the habanero ketchup, seems like I can't get enough of it. The guacamole and chips are a joke. Almost $5 bucks for a few chips and a small cup of guac. Not worth it.
