ZERO response from this business! They performed a dryer vent cleaning back in October of 2021 in my Tucson home, I was happy with their services and tried contacting them again recently. I began trying to reach this business again mid-December 2022. I have left several detailed voice mail messages, tried contacting them via email, and even sent them a request here on Yelp, yet ZERO RESPONSE. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt thinking they may be on Holiday, but it is now a month later and still NO RESPONSE. I wonder if they are still in business??? I don't chase companies! Yelp forwarded my request to five companies; four responded, but not Baker's Mobile Aire. I hired DUCTZ instead, on the recommendation by one of the companies who responed to me here on Yelp (they didn't do dryer vent cleaning) and they were absolutely fabulous, even finding a potential problem area at the top of my roof vent that Baker's never mentioned back in 2021. read more

Just when things are bad and a lot of uncertainty in this world, I noticed our A/C unit wasn't blowing cool air. We've had Bakers mobile aire come to our home for many years now and have always been very happy with the service. We had them install our new unit a little over a year now, and so I called on a late Saturday afternoon, the day before Mother's Day. James was right on it, and over at my house in about an hour being the end of the day and in a emergency. James made my day by a simple and quick fix that was covered under the warranty. Bakers Mobile Aire has always been honest and the best I could find for my home even years ago when we were just renters, that's why we chose them for our new install of a Rheem unit just after buying our the house. Loved how quickly they came to take a look at our air conditioning unit! The technician they sent out was amazing! There's not enough words to describe him but I'll give you a few, friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working!!! He was great around my puppy also! We are renting our house. Our landlord trusts Bakers Mobile Aire... we have had issues with our AC last summer, 40 days ago (replaces a fried wire and motor) and last night. Contacted Bakers today at 8am as instructed by our landlord... Dick was extremely rude and disrespectful. Threw a fit about having to "drive so far." Told us he had 2 appointments ahead of us and they would take 2-6 h ours (meaning a potential 12 hour day) we asked if he could call us about and hour before he was heading to our house (as we had an appointment that was set in place prior to our AC going out) we proceeded with our appointment. 10 minutes after we got to our appointment he called and stated he was 30 minutes away from our house, we told him we weren't home but we would call as soon as we left. He then scolded us for not being home, asked where we were and why we made plans to go places after calling him, told us he had plans today and now his plans are ruined because of us. We told him we didn't have to divulge our personal information to him, reminded him he quoted us 2-6 hours per client (he then said "well one person canceled and that's how life works") and we would contact him as soon as we were done. He told us he may not be available to service our house until tomorrow then. We told him we would call when we were done. Said thanks and hung up. He then called us again stating he was 30 minutes away and asking our whereabouts (he was much nicer during that call) we told him we were almost done and would call when we left. We called the second we were done and informed him on the exact time we would be home.. 23 minutes per the maps. When we arrived home he was here waiting, much more pleasant conversation in person. But that doesn't make up for the Blayton disrespect and rudeness we dealt with today. We have already reached out to other AC companies and will be discussing taking our business and our landlords business to another company. The other two times we dealt with Bakers were very pleasant- we even had Dick the very first encounter. I understand people have bad days but this was just completely unprofessional and unacceptable. In customer service, your bad day is gone once you punch the clock. Customer always comes first- at least that's how many of my jobs have developed me to be. Very disappointed. read more

I needed a new heat pump for a home that I purchased to re-sell. I got bids from several companies that sell quality manufacturers like the Lennox unit I purchased. Baker's came in with a good price, but I was particularly impressed with their thorough, timely, and honest work. They sent three techs to do the install and all were delightful and willing to explain what was happening. They had to use some great skills to install in the small closet. I liked them so much that I started using them for my own home. They've done my spring and fall checkups at affordable rates during non-peak times. Since I was an existing customer, I got really quick response in mid summer when the 13 year old fan motor gave up. I appreciate how the techs I've met, Manny and Dick, are both willing to spend the time to really diagnose a problem and fix it rather than just replacing components until it works. I recommend these folks as a great business for your heating and cooling needs. read more

Superior service and response . I called for service at 1:00 PM and they had my a/c working in an hour and twenty minutes from my call. Their pricing was fair and reasonable. I am very happy to know a quality business like this and I will use them, and only them again. read more

Absolutely great service. The staff are honest and will not try to sell you a part you do not need (be warned - some other HVAC places will do this). I had an issue because my condo complex mislabeled the AC units on the roof (my upstairs neighbor unit was labeled as mine and vice versa). After their first repairman worked on the wrong unit (through no fault of his own), the owner personally came out for the next two mornings unti the issue was fixed. He gave me a discount and did a lot of extra work (including a free minor repair on my neighbors unit). Please note, despite the similarity in name, this company is NOT affiliated with Baker Bros, which I have heard some dubious reports about. read more

I have a beautiful rental home that has a second master bedroom on the second floor. However, the house has 2160 square feet of living space and the central air conditioning unit on the street level floor did not adequately cool the top floor. My excellent real estate property manager recommended this firm highly. They did an excellent and efficient job and now the master bedroom on the upper level floor is being cooled beautifully! Waking up in a house that no longer has air conditioning is never good, but it is especially bad during a Tucson summer! With young kids and a home-based business, we need our house to be livable, and it was quickly getting to the point where it wasn't. When I called Baker's yesterday morning, Todd was very helpful and managed to squeeze us in their busy schedule that day so we could get the problem looked at right away. James was the technician who came out and he was great. He quickly found the problem, explained it, and took care of it. I was so glad he had a replacement part on his truck so we didn't have to wait for the repair! Now our house is back to being a nice, cool escape from the heat! Thank you to Todd and your team! Great service from Manny Lagarda. use their website coupon and paid $70 for cleaning clothes dryer duct from lint, which was very competitive price compared to their competitors prices. paid $35 for cleaning one bathroom dryer exhaust duct. previous installer installed exhaust duct incorrectly; manny used his own hardware at no extra charge to correct. polite, cooperative, helpful, came on time. i will use them again. i recommend them without reservation read more

Fantastic service! We have been using Baker's Mobile Aire for a couple of years now for our quarterly AC maintenance with our business. The other day the AC went out and the temperature started to rise in the shop. We called Baker's Mobile Aire and Todd was able to re-schedule his technician. Within 2 hours his technician showed up and was able to diagnosed problem and got the unit up and running again.
