We agreed to a list of items to be done in 2 days with his 2 workers. He used "we" a lot, but there never was any evidence of other workers. He didn't show up the first day, and many other days. Joaquin never showed up when he said he would be on the job, and only worked a few of hours. He removed fascia boards from 2 sides of my house, along with other fascia broads later. This was way more than we had agreed to in writing. He disappeared for nearly 2 weeks and showed up at my front door wanting more money for supplies. He stripped my roof of most of the drip edges ripping paint off my roof and left it exposed to rain damage. He finally showed up with replacement fascia boards after money was lent to him by the man who recommended him. I lent him paint, brush, and sawhorses to paint the boards intended for the contracted amount, but it was double the amount of boards. Well he removed half of them after they were painted. He stripped my side porch of all it's fascia boards, but only one side was contracted for. He then abandoned my job after leaving me dangling for 6 weeks! I emailed him and was told I would have to pay an additional $2650 for the fascia board replacements?! In my opinion, this is extortion! He didn't complete anything. Did less than 10% of what was agreed to. Yet thought he should removed additional fascia boards without my permission and charge me more? Bottom line he is unprofessional, and the work he did was substandard. None of the fascia boards were cut square. Plus he left my side porch totally unsafe and 3/4 of my roof edges exposed to more damage. He also removed tile from my front porch, leaving this exposed to weather damage as well! His report confirmed what the original report stated and their price for repair was on the lower end of the bids we got. We had to delay the work due to a slow escrow but once everything was resolved, we gave DSR the green light. I was told Jaime the project and scheduling manager would reach out with a start date but I ended up having to call him. We finally got a date on the calendar and were excited to be moving ahead; however, that day no one showed up at 6 am as I was told. At 7:30, I tried calling but had to leave a voicemail. Jaime texted me saying they would have to delay the job until the following week due to the "recent rainfall" and forecast for the rest of the week. I understand weather affects the outcome of a roof coating like this but why wasn't I notified BEFORE the appointment? At 8 am the next Monday, I texted Jaime AGAIN to ask if the crew would be at my home and was told they were on their way. Knowing rain was forecast for the next day, I asked if they would be able to complete the job that day. Jaime told me it was a 3 day job and they would only be power washing that day; the primer and other two coats would be applied later in the week. Again, why wasn't I informed of this at the beginning? The crew was terrific and did a wonderful job. My roof looks beautiful and is now protected again the monsoons. BUT... I had to take away a star for such poor communication. I only spoke to a "live" person when I first called; each time after that when I tried to reach either Will or Jaime, I got a very pleasant AI voice who relayed my message. Afterwards, both Will and Jaime were quick to request I write a review- strange since neither was willing to return my calls while the work was being done.

Contacted several roofing companies, one of which was more interested in making the repair an insurance event. The owner Mr. Medina came to our house to get an idea of the work. Later that day I received an estimate and after comparing it to the others we had received we decided to have El Shaddai Roofing LLC do the job. There was no pressure and we were told up front what to expect and we were given a 10 year warranty with Bi-yearly inspections. The job took a week to complete and the crew cleaned the property at the end of each day. When the job was finished the owner Mr. Medina arrived for a final rooftop in section. I can highly recommend this company as they were polite and professional in their work. The material used was high quality.
