They are located in a prime location at the corner of Main Street and the bridge to PA. If you time it right, the outdoor patio will provide an awesome view of the sunset. A nice space that has been renovated from the prior Mexican restaurant. Parking is on the street, and it's unclear where any handicapped parking is. Friday night and we didn't have reservations but they had "cancellations" and could accommodate us - the main dining room was about 2/3 full the entire time we were there. Service from our server, Lexi, was great... she was friendly, warm, and took time with us to explain and answer any questions we had. I'd ordered the clam chowder cup as an appetizer. What arrived was a creamy chicken-ish soup with overcooked potatoes and overcooked carrots. OK, not a big deal, maybe an error in the kitchen. My wife ordered the Haddock special which was an oven roasted haddock with a side salad. I chose the special prime rib and mashed potatoes. To cut to the chase, the haddock arrived and the fish had been assaulted at some point in the kitchen. It was dry as a bone and so overcooked that it was bordering on inedible. It also arrived at the table sporting a fishy smell. Now - qualification if you've read my other reviews - I grew up on the east coast in a fishing town, worked on a lobster boat as a sternman. Fresh and well prepared fish should NEVER smell fishy. Ultimately, she sent the dish back to the kitchen after trying two bites. I tried it as well and honestly it was really unpleasant. My prime rib was served at the correct temperature (medium rare), but it was advertised as Prime grade beef prime rib. What they served was absolutely not prime grade - it was choice - I've done enough work with rib primals to see the difference. Flavor was good - but don't misrepresent what you're selling. The Au jus for the prime rib was significantly over salted, as was the seasoning on the "crust" for the prime rib. The mashed potatoes were pretty good, but had sour cream folded in to them which wasn't described on the menu or by waitstaff. Long story short - waitstaff was lovely and friendly, and very concerned when we raised polite concerns about our food. Downside is that the kitchen allowed the food we received to leave the kitchen. Further downside is that after an entree went back to the kitchen (and there was not a replacement order of another entree) the co-owner who was working as the host didn't come by the table to inquire of what the concern is. We chatted with him on our way out and he was generally dismissive of our feedback. To be clear, we are not restaurant whiners or constant complainers. In this case there were two bites taken from the meal and then we requested it to be taken back... so it's clear we're not trying to scam a free meal. IDK what to say here, I want them to be successful in this small town, but in order to do so the food needs to be solid, and the management needs to be willing to engage and receive feedback about the experience and food. They've had six months in this location and have operated other restaurants in the area, so being new to the business isn't a valid excuse.

When I asked her about it she was pretty rude and defensive saying she never recalled saying there was no extra charge even though the whole table did in fact hear her say it wouldn't be extra. Then she walked away with the checks and didn't take the extra charge off the bill. Her not coming to the table throughout the meal, fine, I'll find someone else and ask them for what I need, but the fact that she was rude about the miscommunication and then didn't even offer to take the charge off the bill ON TOP of that is what really made me mad.

I'm not even sure the burger was made with real beef. I'd bet they ran out of beef too and gave me a soy burger. It was the driest most pathetic burger I have ever eaten in my 55 years and trust me I've eaten many. Tried to meet friends for drinks there, but The system they use does not scan out of state licenses or federal Identification. So although my husband both had his Real ID FL license and his military spouse ID, he was totally denied service, and was told he can't even be in the bar. Unfortunately they lost customers tonight because of it. While I understand PA licenses have to be scanned, it is a huge flaw that they don't scan any other ID's, especially those that you can even fly through airports and enter federal property with. For a town that relies heavily on tourism in the summertime, I feel that it's a massive flaw to not accept out of state licenses.
