Came here to get some donuts. Bakery Express has been around for over 50 years. I'm upset I just found out about it! There is plenty of parking out front of the building. I entered and it smelled so good! There was a wall of fresh donuts; assorted ones such as filled, glazed, etc. They were $9.99/dz and the top self donuts were $1.25 ea. We got a dozen and they were delicious! Goodbye Dunkin'! This is a full service bakery and they have assorted pastries, a full custom cake ordering area (the cakes were gorgeous), and they serve breakfast and lunch items as well. Bakery Express also is a Ms.Desserts provider and there was a wall of assorted refrigerated cakes to choose from as well. All in all, the donuts were fresh and delicious and I can't wait to come back to try some other pastries and the breakfast/lunch items:

Bakery express has great food and desserts, but I can't tell you how impressed I was with my son's 16th birthday cake! Great job Bakery Express!!! Thank you

Please go just for the experience. It's truly wonderful to see such an incredible amount of baked goods in one place- it's like if the Costco bakery was an entire warehouse. We got a variety of donuts, which were pretty tasty. They've got every other dessert you can think of and even stuff to bake at home. Great stop on our trip.

The variety alone is pure perfection. Got these for national donut day and now I will definitely consider going there to try more of their items.

**Craving satisfied and then some.** I stopped by Bakery Express in Halethorpe, MD on a mission for a really good donut and let's just say, they understood the assignment. I started with their "top shelf" Coffee Roll for $1.25, and it absolutely lived up to the name. It was huge, fresh, not too sweet, and incredibly filling. I also grabbed a Cheese Danish for $1.95 to go. It was soft, buttery, and bigger than my hand. For the price? Total steal. What I didn't expect was the full café experience tucked inside. Naturally, I ordered breakfast: a toasted egg and cheese croissant sandwich with cheddar and four strips of crispy bacon for just $8. Add in a refillable small coffee ($1.69) and my total came to $13.47. Worth every bite. I left full and happy. Service was smooth and mostly self-serve; I loved the attention to hygiene: handwashing stations, sanitizer, and even plastic gloves provided when selecting donuts. Tons of seating, clean restrooms, and yes handicap accessible throughout. They also offer grab-and-go items like salads and subs, which makes it super convenient if you're short on time. The coffee was hot, fresh, and tasted just right...no burnt aftertaste. And let's talk desserts: cupcakes, cookies, slices of cake in just about every flavor imaginable. There's also a custom cake section, which I didn't explore fully, but I'll definitely be back to try more. Overall: 5 out of 5. Cozy, clean, delicious, and priced right. A hidden gem worth revisiting.

BAKERY EXPRESS HAS NEVER LET ME DOWN. The team (bakers and staff) who do the custom cake orders are phenomenal. The photos speak for themselves. The cake is also delicious.

Let me tell you.... I got up early this morning to come try this place out. Didn't make it here til about 830am. Parking was easy and let me tell you they were busy. I didn't know they offered some things where you could dine in. Dining area was nice, clean and spacious. The selection of goods were great. I chose a lemon pound cake, chocolate chip cookies, snicker doodle cookies, red velvet cupcakes and a slice of strawberry smith island cake. Nothing disappointed. Everything was fresh. My favorite was the strawberry smith island cake slice. It didn't even make it home. I ate it in the car. The service was very pleasant. Next time I must try the fresh donuts. They were looking good as well

I stumbled upon Bakery Express while searching for dessert one day and was pleasantly surprised, though the experience had its quirks. At first, I thought my GPS had led me astray--it took me to an industrial-looking area, but sure enough, the bakery is right next to their corporate offices. Parking was plentiful, which was a nice plus. Walking in, I was shocked at how large the space was and the sheer number of desserts available. While I found the doughnut flavors a little underwhelming, the rest of their pastry selection more than made up for it. I tried a doughnut and a slice of cheesecake, both of which were good--just not amazing. I'd likely return, though, simply because of the incredible variety. If you're a dessert lover, it's worth a visit for the selection alone!

Bakery Express knocked it out of the park!!! The cake not only tasted amazing but looked fantastic!! My daughter was beyond excited and everyone at her party loved the cake as well. The team at Bakery Express really understood the vision for the cake and went above and beyond with the design. This is the second customized cake we've purchased from Bakery Express and it won't be the last. You can't go wrong with this bakery.

Good, basic, self serve donuts at the bakery express cafe. This is a corp bakery that supports multiple locations. The bakery on site is clean and donuts are good, but not "artisan" or homemade. You can taste the standardized process. -- still yummy. And a great price too!

Ever wake up one-morning craving donuts? Such was my morning, and a quick search on Yelp had me trekking Bakery Express. This donut shop is large, features a good-sized dining area, and offers sandwiches and breakfast items all day! I love toasted coconut donuts but settled for the one in-store, which was delicious. These are cake donuts, baked fresh and sized appropriately. The store also makes custom cakes, and the display almost had me ordering one...for research purposes, of course.

This place is awesome! Not only are they a giant bakery providing desserts, cakes, breads and more to many businesses but they also have an onsite restaurant. I love the donuts here! They are super fresh and have a lot of variety. I love the pb&j donut. Their sandwiches are awesome, make sure to request a pretzel bun. If you need a fancy cake or pastry for an event be sure to stop in!

If you like old time bakeries and not the grocery store kind, this is the place for you. They do bakery catering as well as one on one. The area where items are baked is kind of like the size of a small factory and Yet their items have not lost their taste of what a local bakery used to be. And their staff are GREAT. Very polite and friendly and knowledgeable about their products. They have fresh bread, huge danish like pastries, pies, cakes and a large variety of donuts. You can dine here! They have sandwiches and beverages and a few dine in tables. Flash back 40 years and enjoy this place. You will thank me.

BEST CAKE OR PIE TO PURCHASE FOR SOMEONE ELSE to show them how good this place is? (I usually only buy individual donuts, pretzels, etc for myself & family, want to give a dessert as a gift!)

It depends on what the person likes. My parents favorite is the carrot cake so we get that a lot. Everything is amazing!

Does anyone know the calorie information and how many grams of sugar are in one glazed donut? My job sells them but there's no info on the box. I saw that they are ordered from Bakery Express.

It's a really fun atmosphere, especially if you're going with a group! I came with four friends and we ordered the Bavarian pretzel and Caesar salad, which were both really good. I also got the Apricot Sour, and it was AMAZING! It's hard to find a really good sour, and this one definitely did not disappoint. My friends all tried different selections, and everyone enjoyed their drinks. The only reason I'm mentioning this is because there was a little confusion with the service. When you sit inside, you're told you can order through a waitress or online. Our waitress came over once but didn't come back, so we ended up ordering online. One of my friends ordered four half beers so she could make her own flight. When the beers came out, the waitress told us that you could only have two beers in front of you at a time. We were confused because this wasn't mentioned when we ordered or stated in the ordering app. We asked about it, but weren't really given an explanation beyond that we couldn't have more than two at a time. It was a little frustrating since we had already placed the order and she brought all four beers. After that, the waitress didn't come back, so we continued ordering online. Overall, though, we had a really nice time and I would definitely come back! The brewery itself is beautiful, there are tons of drink options, the food was good, and the Apricot Sour was one of my favorites. I just wish the ordering rules and expectations had been communicated more clearly from the beginning.

So in this season of yes, I accepted a date and he went all out! He picked me up and off we went on a small road trip to BMore! When I asked what we were doing, he said it was a surprise. When we got to Guinness Open Gate I was in shock that I had never seen this place and to be honest, never heard of it. It's huge! It's fun! And it's seriously a great place to do a first date like we did! We did brunch, which we will talk about below! But we also didn't want our date to end and went on the lawn and ordered finger foods just to sit and talk afterwards. There was a baby shower going on and it was super packed but we were able to find space on the lawn and chat. Meeting new people is great and within one date for me I know if I like you enough for date two or if a friendship is where it ends. Although this date ended here, I'm super appreciative of time given and the good meal! I'll be back just not with him, not in the business of wasting peoples time. Let's get into it! Oysters - I'm slowly learning to like slimy oysters. While not a fan these were yummy! Waffle - I enjoyed! Wings - Yummy! The brunch menu is limited and I wouldn't come here for brunch again but I would come back for game nights during their dinner menu! Apparently there is a seafood tower they can make but he wasn't able to order it. I didn't see it on the menu but the waiter seemed to know what it was. Definitely a chill spot! Beer drinkers this is your haven!

Perfect for burning a gift card but maybe not a regular spot. My wife and I had a gift card burning a hole in our pockets, so we decided to stop into the Linthicum Heights location for Sunday brunch. Overall, the experience was totally satisfactory, though it came with a few minor hiccups. Walking in, the menu is exactly how I remember it being from my last visit years ago, though like everything else these days, the prices are a tad more expensive. I opted for the Country Boy Breakfast, which comes with sirloin tips, biscuits, gravy, and my choice of sides. I went with the dumplings and the hashbrown casserole. The flavors themselves hit the spot and tasted exactly as I remembered from previous trips. The hashbrown casserole and biscuits were solid comfort food. However, the steak tip portion was a bit of a letdown. My wife ordered the steak and eggs, and her portion of steak was easily double to triple the size of mine. It felt a little mismatched considering both are hearty breakfast plates. We also ran into some standard Sunday crowd service hiccups. Our server fumbled our drink order right out of the gate and wasn't very attentive when it came to checking back for refills. At the end of the day, it is perfectly serviceable if you want a massive, nostalgic country breakfast. But if we did not have that leftover gift card balance to use up, it would probably be a few more years before we felt the need to return.

Ultimately we landed on the peach cobbler French toast, cinnamon roll French toast, and a 1/2 and 1/2 lunch special with chicken & waffles and a cup of jambalaya. I was told the peach cobbler French toast was really good. The cinnamon roll French toast was prepared perfectly. Not soggy which was surprising given how much syrup and melted cream was on the plate. It was just VERY sweet. It also came with a side of eggs and brown sugar sage sausage patties. I loved the sausage patties and 2 was just enough. The chicken and waffles were good, the chipotle honey that came on the side complimented the chicken really well. The presentation wasn't very good as it was just thrown on a plate and not really well presented to me. It tasted good it was very sweet but it was good. One of the things that reduced the star was both the presentation and the fact that the syrup that was presented to me in the cup had a layer of film over it and when I went to pour it over my French toast it wouldn't pour until I pierced the film covering the syrup. The eggs over medium and the well done bacon that I ordered came out perfectly and were very good. It was starting to get busy when I was ready to leave and it took a little longer for my server to bring my check and also then pick it up. All in all it was a good meal, and I will be back but I will try something else the next time I come in. I definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try.

This said, I came here on a Saturday morning with my fiancé and the wait was only 10-15 min (which was worth it for the food) Have a few indoor tables, a small bar-counter, and 2 outdoor tables as well. We were seated at the outdoor tables even though we didn't specify that we wanted to sit outside. We decided to take this rather than wait longer for indoor tables (which also looked somewhat cramped). The sidewalk outside is kind of tilted though, and there are a bunch of people waiting for tables outside, so it is a bit of a strange vibe. This all being said, the service was incredibly fast. Our orders were taken right away, the food came out pretty quick, and we were brought our check (which is payable via phone) as soon as we finished eating. You can tell that they run a really tight ship/well executed operation.
