Balance will always be a favorite for me. They usually do a great job of building your bowls exactly how you like and use fresh ingredients. I have had issues in the past with orders taking long periods of time but this trip they were perfect! Food was orders ahead of time to pick up and it was ready right when we requested. The food was great and the portions are big enough for me to make more than one meal out of it which I love! I built my own bowl and had the blood orange bubble tea.

I think I am done with Balance. Ordered the Beef Four Star, the beef was extremely chewy, as it was in the last 2 orders I placed. The vegetables were good however but everything was Luke warm. This location has only one option to pickup your meal and the is to use text messages, if you don't have a smartphone forget about getting your order. I ended up calling the location and having to tell them what my car looked like and what parking number I was in... I figured that is why they ask for your car description on the app. Anyways, I got my 1:32 meal at 1:47, which more than likely accounted for Luke warm. My suggestion is install a pickup window, the people in the 2 cars waiting with me in the lot agreed.

Again I came here on my lunch break for work and it was beyond packed! I should of ordered online and came in to pick it up, will for sure remember that for the next time. The only issue with the restaurant being so packed is that there was not enough chairs inside to accommodate everyone. If they were to add more chairs, or even have outside seating it would of been perfect. As always the food was delicious and very fulfilling! Can't wait to go back and try something new.

Came back yesterday. I'm not sure if it's just the cashier but everything kinda went downhill. I discovered they don't let you adjust your drink's sugar level (a big NO for me). The cashier the other day didn't tell me that when I asked him to cut the sugar down. But the drink tasted less sugary (probably in my mind). The food is amaze balls tho. We got the bang bang taco. It was good. The cream cheese wanton nothing too extraordinary about it. Just your average one. The ratio of the filling is good tho. AND our food came out as to go, even if we asked to dine in. I guess she likes extra trash. ‍ If they have more variety with their milk tea options (slushed etc.) and lets you adjust the sugar level, this place would be on the bottom list for milk tea. Food wise, I'll come back.

I had never ordered from this restaurant prior to Covid so I am unsure what they did before. But the app and ordering is top notch. The delivery to your car is on point and the food is absolutely delicious. We live 45 minutes away and I have driven twice this week to get their amazing food.

    Love Equally Butterfly Tea

The butterfly tea makes for the best bubble tea I've ever had HOWEVER, there is no option for light ice. The first time I ordered here, I finished the drink in about two minutes because there was hardly any liquid. I couldn't even move my straw around because it was packed full of ice. A ripoff for $5 if you ask me. So, the next time I went, I asked for light ice. They said they're not allowed to do light ice because they have a specific recipe they have to follow, but I pressed them. They did it and it was wayyy better! It actually took me a bit to finish the drink. The next time, the guy totally gave me sass and sighed at me. Reluctantly, he did it but said he couldn't promise me the same taste because the recipe would be off. Every time I come, it's like pulling teeth to get light ice. I've already bought the ingredients to make my own at home.

Their sign is easy to see as you drive by, but my friend did give me a heads up that their door was not obvious. You need to walk through a fence and then open a non deacript door. The artwork outside is awesome! When we walked in we received a friendly greeting and were quickly shown to our seats. We had made a reservation ahead of time and there was no delay to seat us upon our arrival. Our server was friendly and took our drink orders right away. I appreciated that they had multiple non alcoholic drinks and at a fair price. I started with the Thai Iced tea which was delicious, but I would have loved a glass 2x the size! We ordered multiple dishes to share amongst us. I did ask the server how many dishes they recommended that we order as I wasn't sure of the size. The items are brought out as they are made, so we had food being dropped off to is at random intervals. The only slight issue we experienced was when someone else tried to bring a plate of squid to our table. We let them know that we had not ordered it. They then went and talked to our server, who brought the squid back to our table. We also let them know that we had not ordered that dish. Our server did bring back our order slip and looked it over, and I believe at that point they realized that we really had not ordered that dish and just weren't rejecting it. I am not sure if it had been written wrong, communicated to the kitchen wrong, or what but we did have to state multiple times that we had not ordered it. The rest of our dishes arrived correctly. The crispy chive cakes were great, and the sticky spare ribs were AMAZING. The caramel glaze on the outside of the ribs was so good, and they were tender as well. The outside was super crispy. I would absolutely ordered these again. I would say that both of those dishes were only for 2 people. The sticky rice and jasmine rice were as to be expected, and I personally felt that the papaya salad was not as good as others I have had. The chilli noodles had an amazing broth and I would also recommend. Overall, I did enjoy our dinner but I am not sure that I would go out of my way to return. I am rounding up to 4 stars based on the sticly ribs alone, otherwise a 3.5 would be more fair. I have been hearing about Takoi for years, so maybe my epxections were too high but I was expecting a bit more.

Tonight was our lucky night as we were seated within minutes of our arrival. QQ Kitchen is very unassuming upon entry. Small sitting area that was filled with people waiting for their take-out orders. The dining area is small and decor is simple. There is one TV monitor and tonight, "Triple D" (Diners, Drive-Ins, Dives) was on. How appropriate, huh? Menu has a lot to offer making it challenging to arrive at a snap decision. Many great choices. We started off with Spring Rolls. Very refreshing taste and the peanut dipping sauce was quite tasty. Our dinner selections: Drunken Noodles; and Pad Thai w Shrimp. Both these dishes were excellent and very fairly priced for the food quality and portion size. A great deal of foot traffic for take-out orders during the entire time we were in the restaurant. Good sign. We had a fantastic meal and we will definitely be back yo visit QQ Kitchen. Well done!
