We went for lunch and the restaurant was not busy at all. Our waitress was very accommodating, suggesting she could make the dish I wanted less spicy to suit my taste. It was perfect when it came out. The acoustics in PF Chang's is usually pretty noisy if it's busy, but it was fairly quiet to be able to easily converse without yelling. Made a reservation for 2 people and table wasn't when we arrived. We decided to sit at a high top in the bar and despite telling the hostess to cancel our reservation, they were calling our name 10 minutes later when I guess a table was ready. Food was good, and came out nicely paced with ordering multiple courses. They have many gluten free options clearly marked on the menu but you must tell them when you order that you are gluten free because the dishes are then prepared with different sauces in different pans. Glad we decided to sit in the bar as the dining area seemed crowded and noisy. read more

I had a really disappointing experience at P.F. Chang's today. Honestly, all the food we ordered was just bad. I ordered the Kung Pao beef, and it tasted burnt. On top of that, my plate wasn't even hot--it felt like it had been sitting around and was just reheated. I tried a few bites hoping maybe it was just me, but my wife agreed it tasted off. As a side, I had fried rice, and it was awful--it honestly tasted spoiled or rotten. My wife ordered the Chang's Spicy Chicken, and she had the same experience: bad flavor, and her fried rice tasted just as bad as mine. What made it worse was the service at the end. We left almost all of our food untouched, and no one even bothered to ask if something was wrong. NEVER COMING BACK!!! read more

I have visited with my wife and with friends on a number of occasions. But I just attended with a group of almost 30 and was responsible for the event.  The food was quite good, the service was excellent and we would certainly recommend PF Changs to others, not only for personal dining but for a Group experience.  The Group experience simply took things to another level.  This was set up by an Event Manager but both he and the General Manager were very accommodating.  The servers were simply wonderful with the kids as well as the adults.  We couldn't have asked for more.  As far as the food, there are highs and lows but I feel that in general, their food is by and large on point. In apps, they are known for their Lettuce Wraps which are simply excellent. Others love their Edamame while that's not my love. I recently had their Hot and Sour soup which is different from some but if flavorful and which I enjoy. I am a fan of quite a number of their entree's, too many to list but I will say that their Pad Thai is not on my list. That sure didn't detract from my rating! PF Changs will vary from one location to another. This one is well managed, clean and the kitchen puts out food that you will enjoy. read more

Firecracker shrimp were amazing! The edemame was great, the sushi was mediocre . Waitress did a good job but checked in TOO MUCH, I didn't need anything the last 5 times! Of course I was nice lol. Portion size was as expected for the price , quality above average. Overall, a great value! read more

We have been here in the past and it was decent. Wanted something different for a change and decided to give this a try again. We sat at a bar high top and the manager finally came over wiped it down and said it will dry, that's how we sanitize our tables. We were like ok she will they dry? Answer about four to five minutes later. Finally he came and asked for our drink order and he went and got those for us. Now let me tell you he was kinda rude and seemed put off for doing his job. The bartender comes over takes our appetizer order and ask if we need anything else. Then he comes back over to take our order. All is good kinda so far. The appetizer comes out and no plates or eating utensils. So, my wife seems where they are and so goes and gets them. Never did get plates. Now the expo brings out our main dishes and sets them in front of us and then we realize he took off with our appetizer and never came back with it. Planned on taking it home since it was only half eaten. Then one of our orders was to have peanuts on it and nope! Had to ask for those as well. Over all not someplace I'm wanting to go back, smaller portions, higher prices and bad customer service. I would have rather order takeout from the Chinese restaurant near my house and had better food and service. read more

We met another couple for dinner. We had no trouble getting seated with our reservation. The hostess was very nice. Our server, Reed did an excellent job. Everyone was very pleased with our meals and the excellent service we received. The restaurant was not so busy when we arrived, but by the time we finished, there were many people waiting for tables to open up. They have a nice full bar I saw when we came in and I did see quite a few people pay it a visit while they were waiting. The restaurant is clean and inviting. We will be back! read more

At 3 o'clock on a Wednesday there were a few occupied tables. Service was very good. The food was delicious. The bathroom was clean. Parking was across the street, or you can drop off/pickup at the door. We ordered the dragon roll without the hot sauce. It needed the sauce as there was little flavor. The crispy green beans were our favorite. Dumplings and spring rolls were small plates which we liked. The four items we ordered were plenty of food for two. Had a nice dessert menu, too. read more

Visiting family from out of town and we chose PF Changs for dinner. We had 10 people, 4 being kiddos. Very good service, food came out perfectly timed, and we really liked almost everything. First of all, the entire table loved the fried green beans! Get extra sauce for them. The lettuce wraps were also a huge hit, with the chicken favored over the veggie wraps. Everyone who had the egg rolls enjoyed them and the peanut sauce. I was not a huge fan of the crab Rangoon, but they are loaded with crab. Main dishes were kung pow chicken, orange chicken, chicken and shrimp lo mein and shrimp with lobster sauce. King pow was the best by far. Didn't try the orange chicken, but others enjoyed it. Lo mein was a miss for me. Enjoyed the flavor of the shrimp dish, but the sauce is off putting visually. Good garlic flavor though. Kids meals were awesome, with fresh fruit as a nice touch. Overall, it was a great experience and I would come back! I'll be craving those appetizers for sure. read more

We had the best experience with Tony at dinner last night! Tony is so kind and truly cares about his guests' experiences. He was knowledgeable about the menu, gave us ample time to look over and consider items, throughly answered all questions, and very quick if something was needed. We booked a reservation for 2 to celebrate a birthday and the entire staff checked in with birthday wishes - management, server, and host. It was a quiet evening in the restaurant, allowing for enjoyable conversation in a comfortable setting. Our table was beautifully set with placemats, golden chopsticks, and even warm towels to clean up after dinner. And of course, the food - amazing as always! So just to start off our server was Taylor and she was amazing. Our food however was so bad price we were paying. It tasted like it belongs in a shitty Panda Express. I got the Kung Pao Chicken and it was dry and tasted like a frozen meal I'd get from Kroger but without the sauce and the rice that came with it was some how dry? My brother got the Fire Braised Short Ribs the meat was fine, the glaze tasted bland and like the meat drippings. the pineapple rice was overwhelming sweet. we also got Sweet and Sour soup and it was neither hot or sour. This is closer to a 4.5 star review then a straight 4 star review. I have come here multiple times to have "linner" with my parents and my brother and sister in law. PF Changs at this location provides a mostly healthy option about halfway between where we all live. We normally come in for a late lunch or early dinner and we spend a couple of hours here. We have yet to have a bad wait staff person. Our beverages never get low even if al we are drinking is water. The food comes out in a timely manner. Which basically means that even when we order appetizers and or soup, our main course does not come out until we are done. This is our typical location for celebrating birthday's that aren't by a major holiday. The wait staff has no issues with rerunning our bill because somehow we always decide to get dessert. The downgrade in stars is based on the fact that PF Changs has a decent, though no large gluten free menu, however they only have ice cream for dessert. This is my number one complaint; there used to be this amazing chocolate flourless cake and they removed it. I will definitely be coming back here in the future. read more

I ordered carryout and it was overpriced and very tiny portion. I typically do not eat here but asked wife who was there eating with her friends to bring me home a meal. I asked for chicken and noodles which was charged $24. I got the small part of carryout contained half full of noodles and about 8 very small chunk of chicken in large part of container. I will never eat here again because I feel ripped off and they seem to feel that they can get away with it because it was a carry out. My wife said her portion in restaurant was more that double what I received. My portion would not have been enough for a very young child. read more

Food - if you like food that has WAY too much salt and sugar, then this is for you. The salt will really make you flush your bowels. I will say that the chicken lettuce wraps were ok, as long as you mix your own sauce (they used to bring sauces and let you mix, now they have pre-mixed sauce that is not good, but you can ask for sauces to mix your own. Much better than I had recalled. I typically never make it an objective to go to P. F. Changs, not because it's a little pricey or because of service or taste, more in line with it being just another Americanised franchise. That said, even though I had a reservation for Granite City (they didn't seem to bother informing me that the time I set would have had the kitchen closed), PF Changs was the lucky winner that night. As yet another sign from the ether, I found someone's wallet outside the location, in which I managed to make it my good deed of the day. Unfortunately the girl didn't seem to pay any attention to the kind act, not giving any indication of thanks or gratitude. There was even a reaction to my (what I thought to be) creative jest, "Drinks are on me tonight" as I handed the wallet over. But oh, well. Changs was very welcoming to seat us and get our food out quite rapidly. I made it my goal to already order my drinks, sushi, and main course within the first 5 minutes, as to sympathise with their soon approaching closing time. Both the California rolls and the wonton soup were better than I had expected, by quite a bit. It may have just been that last time I went to a Changs (back in CA), it was just a bad service day. This visit was the complete opposite. An incredibly attentive waitress, who never rushed us, and made us feel as if we had all the time in the day to look, order, and talk. She also only placed the infamous bill "I'm just gonna leave this here, no rush." after we asked for it. I love when restaurants know when to place the bill, just as much as I hate when they put it down right as our food arrives! I kept it simple to aid the closing kitchen. I ordered the chicken/shrimp fried rice and a phenomenal ginger lime beer (non-alcoholic this time). The smells alone as the dishes arrived, reminded me of some family cooking, and I can't really explain why. I don't know if I was feeling nostalgic that day, or my senses were just that excited that this visit to Changs was actually memorable, but I could not wait to start eating the dish that I could easily make at home. The rice could be better, and I'm always irritated when an Asian cuisine establishment doesn't have a solid base foundation, the rice. As for the chicken and the shrimp, they were terrific! The chicken was clean all white breast meat, in generous chunks. As the shrimp was perfectly crispy and succulent to the juicy bite. It sat very well, and was a perfect way to top movie night (Creed 2). This location's service and promptness may have rekindled my chances with PF Changs, as I would not mind returning to this Fallen Timbers location. read more
