I was craving an Italian sandwich, was in the area, and made a solid decision to come to Baldinos. Ohh man did it hit the spot! I haven't been here in years so it's changed quite a bit since last I came (you can actually pay with card now so it's no longer cash only) and they serve beer. I ordered the #24 Italian Battalion with everything on it along with a side cucumber crab salad. My sandwich was legit. Exactly what you'd want from an Italian sandwich. Stacked with thinly sliced ham, salami, capicola, pepperoni, and provolone. I didn't care for the crab salad because it was slightly fishy and was more pickled tasting than I cared for. Well first of all how does a sub place don't offer salt and pepper? The sandwich was okay but not as good as the wrightsboro rd location. The lettuce wasn't shredded and the onions was poorly chopped. The kicker was how do you charge for extra mayo. read more

I decided to go to Baldinos on my lunch break today. I was the only person in line and waited for minutes before deciding to leave. There were three employees in the building, two of them were cleaning and the other lady was finishing up an order for a customer. After the lady behind the counter gave the customer his food, she walks to the front and started cleaning tables. Eventually the older woman acknowledged me by simply saying just a minute while she had been sweeping the floor since I walked in, but then she proceeded to clean off the tables in the waiting area also instead of taking my order. I ended up just leaving because I wasn't going to spend my entire break waiting in line while the employees cleaned up. Just like no one spoke to me as I walked in, neither of them said anything as I left or even attempted to stop me. The customer service at this location is horrible. I completely understand having to make sure the waiting area at the restaurant remains clean, but when a customer walks in, you stop and tend to the customer. read more

I love eating here. The sandwiches are delicious There's something for everyone and plenty to choose from on sides. It's a quiet little Shop or heavy in foot traffic after 3 (only times I've been). They are a bit slow in the sandwich making department, but that is probably because they make the sandwiches really neat and not all thrown together sloppy looking. I love Baldinos, but not this location! Went a few years ago and got yelled at by the lady when I asked for more lettuce and tomatoes. Went back, figured I'd give them a few years to get it right, even worse. The Italian Battalion is supposed to have more meat on it, it didn't. And why are they so afraid to put vegetables on their damn sandwiches? I'll never go back to the Tobacco Rd location again. I'll drive the extra 10 miles to Wrightsboro Rd from now on. read more

Oh how I miss this GA military delight. The only place I can seek one is near a GA installation. It's similar to Jersey Mike's but better. The subs are simple but they're delicious. Just the right amount of everything. The smoked turkey with provolone is my favorite. Also their family subs are genius. They come in handy for family dinner during the weekday. I used them for catering a military ceremony and the sandwiches were gone in a matter of minutes. Honestly it's the best place to get a sub and beats more sandwich chains. read more

This location has been around for a long time. At first it was good, but with new ownership, it has went downhill.

No shredded lettuce..... This place has changed since I used to go. The cashier was rude EVERY sandwich shop lets you walk them through the process of making your sandwich EVEN with a line 'THIS BALDINOS' did not have a line and she said NO I'll write how you want it RUDELY... I will never visit this establishment again I refuse to pay for service from rude owners. STEP YOUR GAME UP BALDINOS TOBACCO ROAD we have options. FYI I don't stay in that area so if this is how they treat their customers I can't believe they are still open. I never experienced this type of service in Columbia County where I reside. read more

I have heard great things about this restaurant, and went in tonight to go and give it a shot. I ordered a Sicilian sandwich, the order came out quickly after ordering. Once at home, I opened the packaging and began eating. I quickly found multiple black hairs in between the lettuce and the bread on the sandwich. I highly don't recommend eating here. read more

The one on wrightsboro rd is a whole lot better. Tobacco rd location is stingy with the meat, bread isn't as fresh as the other one and they don't take debit/credit cards with the exception of this suspiciously seedy looking ATM thingy that doesn't give you any cash they have stashed in the dining area. Cross your fingers and say a Hail Mary before and immediately check your bank account after using that taped up wanna be ATM. Serves Hot and Cold Subs. Much better than Subway. It's also a bit more expensive but a half sub is bigger than a Subway 6". Quick service, plenty of choices. I always get mine to go and I am usually in and out in 5 minutes. No credit cards accepted but they have a ATM that prints receipt to get cash at register. read more

Delicious! My husband had the Italian battalion and I had the American army sub. They were both amazing and so fresh.

Doesn't get much better than Baldinos Subs!!! No debit cards is obviously a minor thing. Once you know, it's real simple, TAKE CASH!!! Carrying cash is smarter anyway!! I can't wait to try another sub on the menu, and then cross it off my list! read more

Today for lunch a colleague and I went to Baldinos on Tobacco rd. to grab some lunch. We heard of their great salads and sandwiches. I ordered the Turkey salad, it was a regular turkey salad nothing to write home about. I was eating my salad and half-way through, I found a long piece of hair...grossed out immediately. I went up to the counter to express my discontent and when I explained myself in a low voice. Instead of the owner apologizing for the inconvenience, he told me "hair comes in lettuce". I said what, "hair comes in lettuce sometimes if it is not washed well". I was taken back, at that time I'm thinking he takes me for a fool. Never again, his wife caught an attitude with me for bringing the incident up. It was like I was inconveniencing them, who is the customer? The way that they handled my case makes me nervous as to how they handle other things. Eat at baldinos on Tobacco road at your own risk...health that is! I will not visit that restaurant every again.
