Please tell me why I bothered to order from here again? I don't know the answer. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs and chicken Scarpariello. It Was $64. That's ridiculous enough, but the meatballs were beyond disgusting. Filled with more breadcrumbs than I can imagine. And they were gray inside, so you know it's not high-quality meat And there's too much filler. They quoted me $54 and delivery guy charged $61. They did apologize but lousy customer service on top of crappy food. Chicken was ok. But very average. Not worth another try. read more

Had dinner last night at Dino's Villa Mare and it was exceptional! Great service, wonderful cocktails and fabulous food! Love this place.

I haven't been here in awhile until last week. We were greeted at the door by an older woman I got the feeling she is management. They were very busy and she seated us quickly I knew we were in good hands. The waiter has been working here at least 15 years or more he is very attentive without staying on top of you. I cannot support a restaurant that chooses cover-ups over the truth, what you see on social media is not what you get in reality. I ordered noodles and salmon. Noodles we're disgusting and the salmon was overcooked. I saw the owner and asked him to take back the plate and get me another one, he said the salmon isn't overcooked and if i would like i can leave. After the beach one day we came here for dinner. Food was amazing! My son was upset we had to leave the beach, why can't we just live at the beach? Lol. Nice local Italian restaurant in Atlantic Beach. Owner is always present and you can become a "local" after only a couple of visits.

Unsure why this restaurant is not at least 4 stars because I surely loved everything about it! The Dino's pollo was juicy and perfectly cooked and make sure to ask for extra bread for the table since there is plenty of sauce that is too delicious to be wasted. I have driven past this spot so many times on my way to the beach I am upset with how I haven't stopped by earlier! I'm not sure if their crab cake with scallops is a all year menu item but it should be. I have never had a crab cake I liked more. Perfectly cooked with such a delicious sauce. I've been by three more times just for this. Little pizza is fun to get as an appetizer for the table, was cooked well and was tasty. I love how Dino's created a little outdoor dining oasis in the parking lot. It has tall walls surrounding it so I never once felt uncomfortable about sitting in the parking lot. Much more of an effort then most places in the area for outdoor dining! read more

This was a very cute spot. There's outdoor seating which is such a plus in the summer. The garlic bread was amazing. I ordered a shrimp Alfredo and it was good, but it just lacked some flavor. For 4 years, my wife and I would frequent Dino's as we were living in Long Beach and it was extremely convenient. It didn't suck that the food was absolutely amazing. We've only been back once in the last 6 years and decided to go back last night.... WOW!!! Why have we been neglecting this place?? The food is just stupid. The seafood salad is one of the best I've had. I had the stuffed shrimp and risotto and my wife had the Chilean Sea bass. (We also ordered a pizza because we're "gavone's"). The pizza is outstanding. I can honestly say my family and I will NEVER eat here again. As someone who works in the food industry I am completely appalled by the service and treatment the owners and the workers had presented us with last night. Service ? Bus boy did more for our table ( with small children ) than our server in which only greeted us about 45 mins after being seated. Within that time we've witnessed a hostile interaction between the workers and a table, received ONE cup of water each on which we had to wait to be refilled, burnt bread that was odds and ends of random bread ex. Kaiser roll was in there as well. We were going to walk out multiple times but since we had babies that needed to eat it was too late to go anywhere else. So we stood patiently to only be met with nothing but a hostile environment. Food came out all different times and some with missing items, and nothing to drink. After everything was said and done I kindly walked up to a server (not ours because he couldn't be found) and asked about a possible discount on the bill considering the bad service, long wait, and okay food. The server directed me to a lady in which she then directed me to an older man. When I asked about a possible discount I was given a smart remark " so what I had people waiting 2 hours for a server" laughed in my face, asked for the bill and him and the server started talking about " yea and it's a big bill" it was not, it was $105 after tax which is nothing. Hands me the receipt laughs again and says pay the bill when the most disgusting demeanor. I even openly stated we understood it was busy. Out of nowhere the woman comes in my face with her finger in my face screaming at me so rightfully so I yelled back, I'm a grown woman in my 30's. She was yelling at me like a child. Next thing you know the man I was speaking to comes around the corner standing straight on my face with his chest popped out in which my mother than had to get in between because I honestly thought this elder man was going to hit me. At no point should a man ever try to intimidate a woman like that ever. I told him at that point to call the cops as we're arguing in the restaurant now. Another table that was in there tried yelling at me from across the place saying I'm disrespectful. Honestly at that point when you're being attacked over a simple question, naturally how is someone supposed to respond ? I was 1000% defensive at this point so we're arguing as I'm trying to exit the restaurant. I went outside he continued to disrespect me, called me fat and ugly and then tried to aggressively close the door while I was holding it open for my baby brother and sister to come outside because the were panicking at this point. Cops came and I explained everything. No arrest because he didn't physically hit me but if actions like this continue I'm sure he'd end up behind bars . This place is not worth the money and they clearly can't handle a busy night. A bad day is a bad day but gives no right to treat your customers with such disrespect. I never leave reviews, but I was so aggravated after my experience at this restaurant that I had to create an account and advise what I went through. To confirm : I never use Uber eats or GrubHub, I like to physically call the restaurant and speak directly to someone there when placing an order for delivery. I was greeted by an older gentleman on the phone who felt almost aggravated that I was calling. It felt like he was rushing me off the phone. When I mentioned, I wanted to pay by credit card he seemed pissed off. I asked for the total twice and it was almost as if he refused to tell me. After that when I advised for delivery, he asked me what I wanted to leave for a tip. I then advised what I thought to be a generous and standard amount as a tip for the driver, considering the place isn't that far from my home. He very aggressively advised that five dollars was going to be the minimum that he would let me tip. I asked if this was a standard and also advertised on his site which he then refused to answer and got somewhat irate. And when I received the food, it was extremely subpar. Very small portion, no taste, and no effort put into it. At that moment, what I also did was, I added up the costs of the items on the website and it was off drastically. I was charged at least 30 to 40% more per item that was advertised on their website and then on top of a credit card fee and then also a service fee. This of course on top of the five dollar delivery fee. I would definitely avoid going to this restaurant and I feel people should be weary of charges at this place read more

We go here year round, but in the summer they are never prepared for the extra traffic from the beaches. Though they have the table to accommodate your party, you cannot be sure you will be served sooner than 2 hours. This happened to a friend 2 nights in a row (glutton for punishment) and to us tonight, and we all recall the same issues last year. They are all sorry, and I am sure they are earnest, but it is just unacceptable to be kept waiting like this, with reservations and simple orders that most restaurants dispense without issue. What a disappointment! Service F. Food D. Waited 45 minutes for stuffed artichoke. When it finally came it had no taste, no breadcrumbs, swimming in a broth. Main dishes: Pear salad, eggplant parm. Salad greens wilted, not to mention the iceberg lettuce (cheap!). Eggplant was edible but pasta side dish was reheated and awful. Couldn't wait to get out of there. We arrived at 6:30 pm for dinner. 20 minutes after being seated the waiter arrived and warned us that entrees were coming out in an hour. We were there and figured we can handle an hours wait. The food arrived at 8:38 pm. We wanted to leave but my kids were starving. The place is a disaster. The owner took advantage of covid outdoor dining rules and broke out into the parking lot. He/she more than doubled the size of their indoor capacity. What he/she didn't do is increase the kitchen capacity. They could care less. The staff is overwhelmed and they have no problem taking hostages. Consider yourself warned. read more
