I had the most frustrating and infuriating car sales experience of my life. The salesman (Kenny or Kevin) worked diligently on a Friday afternoon showing us used cars. He quoted us a price of $4500 on a high mileage but well kept maintained Mazda 3 which was agreeable. Before we could discuss terms the "Sales Manager", whose name I did not catch and don't want to know, approached and abruptly stated the price was not 4500 but 6900! The salesman was taken aback, as was I, and said he had no sheet on the car as it was a recent trade-in. I naturally balked at this unprofessional and unethical display and questioned their communication. As we left, which was immediately, the manager re-approached and stated "Look, since my salesman quoted you 4500 I will sell it to you for 5500." I told him I was not comfortable doing business with a dealership who so obviously put profit ahead of ethics and we left. My suggestion would be to find another place to car shop. read more

Went here to have my 13 month old car looked at for what I thought was a warranty issue and was told they could not help me. I suspect that they could not figure out how they were going to get paid by subaru for the repair so they told me to go to a body shop for my door misalignment. The woman in the service department kept telling the manager that they wouldn't get paid if they couldn't submit a defective part. Needless to say I took my car to a dealership elsewhere and it was repaired at no charge. I was told this was a known problem among two of the subaru models. Shame on you baldwin motors. read more

bought my car in nov 1 2017 this dealer does not tell the truth when you ask about the features on the new cars, they will tell you anything just to get you to buy it . make sure you check out the lies that they tell you before you buy from them . I will not buy another car from this dealership they also owe me a refund on an extended warranty its been 2 months and have not seen it as of 1 25 2018 every time I called its always something will have it out too you soon . a very poor dealership stay away read more

I test drove a limited Crosstrek, 2018. I asked about several features including the Starlink system and the AWD monitor. My sales associate ASSURED me the starlink system was ON ALL 2018 CROSSTREK CARS!! He told me the AWD monitoring system would be on my base model as well. When I took delivery of my car, he noted that the AWD monitoring must only come on the limited model since it was not in my car after all. He laughed and said " these are new and we are still learning about them" He even showed me the book he was studying to learn about the car. I was told that they would schedule a time for me to come in and have the car infosystem explained to me. One week later I came in and met with Stephie and Mark, the service manager, both of them took 2 hrs to figure out why the weather, news, and other apps were not working. They also could not understand why starlink was not working. After a call to Subaru corporate, Mark informed me that my car did not have the system I had SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR! He said although the window sticker and paperwork indicated Starlink, it actually only comes on the next two models up with the 8" screen. He said this is really confusing but it is what it is! WHAT?!?!?! You sold me a car without the features I asked for. That day, Stephie told me John Baldwin would make it right. She took the mileage of my car and said it was likely he would buy car back and work to upgrade me. I said that sounds reasonable. I received a text message from Ms. Stephie the following Monday stating they could not come up with a good option to resolve the issue! Service Department is very dishonest. Took my vehicle in for 18,000 mile service check and the tires were not rotated as they claimed. Thankfully had marked the tires before bringing the vehicle in just to make sure they were rotated properly. I was so disappointed when I picked up the vehicle to see the tires had not been touched. And to top it off their Service Manager didn't even have the courtesy to apologize. Instead he had an attitude with us because we busted them! I didn't buy my vehicle from Baldwin because of their Sales Department and wanted to give the Service Department a chance. Never again. read more

Very happy with the service at this Subaru dealership. My wife and I had been searching for a Hybrid sedan for approximately 2 weeks and even though we initially thought that the Lincoln hybrid would be to expensive and looked for options. But after being disappointed with the sales staff or selection at other dealerships we came back to Baldwin Motors. Every member of the sales staff was very accomodating and never pushy. After spending 4 hours at another dealership where we were left sitting by ourselves most of the time and feeling as if our time was not valued, we left to go home. On the way home we were approaching the Baldwin motor dealership and we decided to give them an opportunity to help us purchase a car.. We had both of our cars with us since we had bought our potential trade- ins to other dealerships that day. We sat down with Richard, John and Ed, who appraised the research that we had brought in. They evaluated our information and our financial constraint and gave us a fair deal. We appreciated the effort including the owner Mr. Baldwin who was very personable and respectful throughout our vist.
