First time eating here. My companion and I arrived at 7:00 PM on a Wednesday night and were warmly greeted as soon as we entered. We'd requested a booth when making the reservation and were ushered to a very nice corner location with subdued but adequate overhead lighting. Although there were two large groups in the middle of the restaurant and background music was playing, noise levels were not disruptive, probably due to dampening by to the open ceiling. Overall, the vibe was lively and warm. Started with shopska and melitzano salads and purlenka, all of which were excellent. My companion had a half liter of the house red which, while costing less than one glass of wine at most decent restaurants, was quite drinkable and well complimented the food -- wish more restaurants would offer house wines in carafes. I enjoyed sipping the more traditional rakia throughout the meal. My partner had the beef filet kabobs which were a perfect medium as ordered, tender, well seasoned, with good beef flavor. She also enjoyed the accompanying salad which was extremely fresh. I had the mixed grill with which they graciously substituted a lamb chop for the standard pork chop. All the sausage components were very tasty, especially when complimented with dabs of the included lutenitza. Only negative was that the lamb chop was tough, gristly, and fatty -- I should have stuck with the pork chop. Servings were large, we both were unable to finish our entrees, and departed with leftover boxes. Always room for desert, however, and we devoured the delicious biscuit cake. Final impressions; great place with a lively atmosphere, excellent food and drink at very affordable prices with outstanding service. Already looking forward to our next visit. read more

My family and friends of 50+ people had dinner here to celebrate my nephew big graduation from Dentistry school. For a group this big the servers and cook really kept up with us. We had a huge fish bowl cocktail that my wife guzzle down 2 of them cuz my SIL couldn't finish hers. The steak & pork dish were tender and soft. My wife loved these cuz she has dental issues. We also had boiled potato with herbs dishes as well as Sirloin steak with bones in and those were good as well. We were served 3 different types of salad, Caesar salad, tomatoes with barrata cheese and cucumber with tomatoes salad. I highly recommend the tomatoes with barrata cheese. It was soft and creamy. Their dessert was also the wife's fav. It was similar to tiramisu but isn't. It was soft and creamy. Sorry I don't know the name as all the food were preordered for us and we never saw the menu. The owners Vladimira and Rumen came out to help and check on everything. Their server Polina and the rest of the crew were great as well. Thanks for putting up with us and keeping up with us big bunches! My only disappointment and recommendation is that they serve proper Moscato wine. My wife asked if they have moscato wine and was told yes but when she got the glass of wine and sipped it was Reisling. NOT the SAME and for a fancy place she expected the glass to be nicer but it was served in a water goblet type of wine glasses. Short and thick. Recently stopped by on a week night with a large group. We had reservations and were seated promptly. Mom had the lobster bisque which she said was lovely. Additionally, I ordered the arugula salad (half) as a whole would have been too much. Our family tried Beso for the first time on Fathers Day. First off, the service was exceptionally good. Marjan is such a gracious server, and so patient. And then there's the food! I was surprised by how great the food and service was. I haven't heard of this place before. I had to do my research prior and the decor looked ok. First impression as I walked in, the decor was not tasteless and the ambiance matched the part of the world their food is from. Service was definitely tops. What a pleasant surprise! I stopped by Beso Restaurant for lunch, and from the moment I walked in, everything just felt right. The staff greeted us right at the door with genuine smiles -- not the forced kind -- and took great care of us the entire time. The space is beautiful and airy with a mix of cozy booths, soft lighting, and plenty of greenery that gives it such a peaceful feel. The music had a nice upbeat rhythm but still let you talk without shouting. I also noticed how clean everything was -- even the restrooms were spotless (and I always check!). Now the food -- absolutely delicious! I had the Schnitzel, and it came out perfectly golden and crisp, with a slice of lemon and a pat of butter melting right on top. The fries sprinkled with feta cheese were so good I could have eaten a plate of them by themselves. My guest had the Kabob plate, and it was tender, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned. There's something about this place that feels both modern and homey at the same time. It's rare these days to find a restaurant where you feel genuinely taken care of -- but that's exactly what Beso delivers. Not really typical eastern European restauran, in a good way. Very nice interior, they do celebration where you can rent a part of the restaurant and bring your own food and music. Have nice size patio, but it seems like they are not using it. There is a separately room with tv's for for smaller groups i guess. Very spacious and convenient. Food was great, we had salad very specific for Eastern European onion, cucumbers, peppers, tomato and feta cheese which was amazing. Pizza was super cool. I've visited Beso multiple times. My most recent visit was for NYE lunch. I've left thoroughly impressed every time. The menu is exceptional, offering authentic European dishes done to perfection. We began with the beef tripe soup, which had a delightful garlic and vinegar optional add-in that makes the broth just delectable. We also had the pelmeni with sour cream. Both appetizers set the tone for an excellent meal. For our mains, we chose the lamb chops and filet mignon shish kabob; both were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The sautéed potatoes are an absolute must-order, and the desserts are always a stand-out. The biscuit cake and day and night cake were simply unforgettable. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance. One of my besties took me here last night for a birthday celebration. At 5 pm on a Tuesday night it was nearly empty but by 6 pm it was beginning to buzz. I see they have entertainment occasionally and is a great venue to have parties. We brought a bottle of wine and they were kind enough to decant it for us. We started off with a vitamin salad that we shared. It was really interesting, but not exactly what I was expecting. To me it needed a bit more flavor. We shared an order of feta fries. Can I say these are perhaps the best fries I've ever had !!! Order them to share for sure !! We also chose an order of Adana kebab and and an order of Chilean sea bass. What a great assortment of flavors. Highly recommend both. The Adana kebab had such nice flavors with a little kick. The sea bass was exceptional. Firm but soft at the same time. Lots of food !! We recently brought some friends to BESO to introduce them to Bulgarian and Eastern European cuisine, and they absolutely loved it! The food is always amazing here, but this time our waitress Polina truly made the experience exceptional. Even though she was very busy, she checked on us often, kept our glasses refilled, and made everyone feel welcome. I already knew my favorite dishes, but our friends were new to the menu. Polina was so patient explaining the different dishes and helping us choose -- we ended up ordering so much because everything sounded delicious! Some of our favorites were the salmon lox, fried cheese, potato garlic dish, mixed meats, and the Shopska salad. Honestly, the whole menu is delicious and always tastes fresh and healthy. And of course, we couldn't end dinner without dessert. The light French cake was incredible, and the soft chocolate cake was absolutely worth it too. We also loved their original location on Tropicana and Rainbow -- it felt like a hidden European gem with cozy ambiance and beautiful paintings. This newer location is much more spacious and beautifully set up. Perfect for large groups or events because they can definitely accommodate parties comfortably. Experienced BESO for the first time when I came here for a wedding reception, and it was such a vibe. There was live music that never stopped (I was truly wondering whether the man singing would ever get tired). And his voice was so nice and relaxing, I didn't realize it was someone singing LIVE until 15mins of being there. The service was phenomenal, the staff did great at serving our large party as well as other groups since the restaurant was still open to the public. For the wedding reception, they offered a set menu with different choices of salad, entree, and dessert. Everything we ordered was SO GOOD. Although we were here for a reception, you could tell most groups were there for special occasions such as couples dates or family celebration dinners. This is somewhere I could definitely see myself making *the* occasion spot. The live music bar, great food and service really make this place feel like a special night out. I met up with six others for dinner here. You walk into a small waiting area outfitted with a garden wall and a welcoming archway. The exposed ceiling depicts a warehouse vibe, but the use of plants throughout the restaurant balances this, giving it life. It's a spacious layout, with mood lighting. Martin was one of our servers and he did great with managing our table. Bread was served. I ordered a grapefruit juice, as I discovered they're made fresh in-house. As a first-timer here, he explained the menu a little more in depth. Everyone at our table pretty much ordered different entrees, but I ended up trying out some traditional Bulgarian dishes. For my appetizer, I chose the KASHKAVAL CHEESE PANE, which is served with fries. It's pretty much a fried, soft cheese. Reminded me of a mozzarella stick consistency. For my entree, I was full so I opted to just try one protein. I got the KARNACHE, which is a Bulgarian spiral sausage. Seasoned with herbs. Not gonna lie, it looks kind of odd, but it's good. Dessert was out of the question for me, but Martin showed us a sample tray of offerings. This was helpful since it gives you an idea of what to expect if you do order dessert. The ambience is such that if Jonathan Wick walked into this Bulgarian restaurant, I would not be surprised. It's modern Eastern European slick and dark. Very comfortable tables and chairs and nicely finished bar and restrooms. We started with their pelmeni beef dumplings with sour cream and onions which were tasty. The raspberry salad is delicious and enough for two. The special of roasted pork with mushrooms sauce was savory but a bit overcooked. The side of French fries was an odd combination but well prepared. Grilled shrimp came only with good grilled vegetables so we had to add rice pilaf for a starch. Amazed they had smelt on the special menu! Honey and walnut crepe tasted a bit burnt. Server was attentive and helpful. We went on a Friday night for date night and there was live music. It was super beautiful inside and very romantic and dark. There was also an outdoor section which I think would be nice to sit out when the weather is nice. We ordered a whole bunch of stuff that we've never had before and we enjoyed everything. First we got the charcuterie board this had cured meats and cheeses that I've never tried before and this was a really cool experience and presentation. This was $22. Then we got the snow white salad, which is pretty much like a tzatziki sauce with a lot more cucumbers. This was light and refreshing and was delicious with everything else that we ordered. We also ordered the mushrooms with blue cheese. This was delicious. I love these. It was melted cheese and if you love blue cheese, you're gonna love this. It wasn't anything unique, but it was very well executed. For entrees, we ordered the goulash. This was a special. My boyfriend absolutely love this and devoured this. We finished off the plate. It was very hearty and filled with potatoes, tender beef and tomatoes. This was also something that wasn't extravagantly unique, but it was very well executed. We also ordered the cevapi. This was absolutely delicious. There was 10 small sausages that came on a piece of bread and these sausages were so flavorful and juicy and burst it in your mouth when you took a bite. It also came with these delicious raw onions, which added sweetness and a crunch, and also came with this white sauce called kajmak. This all went together so well and it was so simple and I absolutely love this dish and we get this over and over again. Service was outstanding! Would definitely go back and the prices are absolutely the best I've seen in a very long time in Vegas. I would definitely recommend this place and I can't wait to go back to try more things on the menu. read more

6/12/2025 Thursday Dinner Wow, what an unexpected and delightful meal at Beso! Beso specializes in Mediterranean and Eastern European cuisine, flavors I rarely get to explore, so this was a real treat. We ordered the tongue in butter, stuffed red peppers, raspberry salad, tomato soup, Adana kebab, and a side of sautéed potatoes. Everything was delicious, but the standout for me was the stuffed red peppers. Normally not a dish I gravitate toward, but the version at Beso was so flavorful I could easily finish all three pieces myself if I didn't have to share. The Adana kebab was served with a side of rice pilaf and fluffy pita bread. The pita was soft and pillowy, I'm still wondering if it was house-made or store-bought (I should've asked!). The rice pilaf was a little wetter than my preference but had great flavor, with short, thin noodles mixed in. The restaurant interior is cozy and slightly dim, with plenty of space between tables. I was surprised to see it nearly 80% full on a weekday, that alone says a lot about the quality and local popularity. We were there for a birthday celebration and decided to share two desserts: the biscuit cake and flan. There was a bit of a wait before dessert came out, but suddenly, disco-style lights turned on and "Happy Birthday" played over the ceiling speakers, turns out it was for our table! Our waiter, Alex, brought out the biscuit cake with a sparkling candle and even sang twice until the sparkler went out. It was such a fun and festive moment. Honestly, Beso went above and beyond, better than most restaurants at making the birthday person feel special. Kudos to Beso for the warm hospitality, vibrant flavors, and memorable experience! I've only been once while I was on vacation. A friend took me there. The restaurant is beautiful and the dining area is expansive, insuring a bit of privacy and not being chair to chair with strangers. Loved the high ceilings. The wait staff took care of us without being intrusive. The food was amazing. The menu is huge and has something for everyone, including the kids. I thought the prices were average for Las Vegas. With all of their specialties I expected the prices to be higher. If you want to treat a friend or take a date to dinner, this is the place. The next time I visit Vegas I will eat here every day. I visited BESO with three friends recently, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. We ordered two garlic cheese breads, but only one was ever served. We mentioned it multiple times to the waitresses during dinner, and each time we were told the second one was "coming," but it never arrived. After about 45 minutes, a woman who appeared to be the owner or owner's wife came to our table and asked how everything was going. I explained that one of our orders never arrived. She checked the system and then told us that according to their records, both had already been served. At that point I asked her respectfully: if there were four people sitting at the table saying the same thing, why would we all lie about a garlic bread? I even suggested checking the security cameras if needed. Instead of resolving the situation professionally, she came back and threw $13 cash on the table. We never asked for money back -- we simply wanted the missing order brought to the table. The attitude and handling of the situation felt rude and disrespectful. What makes this more disappointing is that our waitress had already asked us to pay early because her shift was ending, and despite the issue, I still left around a 30% tip. Mistakes happen in restaurants. That's understandable. The real problem was how management handled it. Based on this experience, I will not be returning. read more
