Salmon dinner, blue cheese mushrooms, feta baked bread

My husband and I celebrated our birthdays there The food was fabulous, the service was on point and the entertainer had everyone dancing. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. We will definitely go back for any occasion.

Recently stopped by on a week night with a large group. We had reservations and were seated promptly. The atmosphere is contemporary and their menu is a mix of Eastern European, Mediterranean, and Greek. The bacon wrapped feta was my favorite appetizer as they were delish. The entree I got was the filet mignon kebab, the meat was tender, juicy and seasoned well. My group also got a couple pizzas but I didn't try them, they looked good though. Service was great and staff was super friendly and attentive.

This is a family run Bulgarian restaurant with a modern, yet old-world, style. We were seated immediately in a nice booth with a marble topped table. The menu was an interesting mix of Mediterranean and German cuisine. I started with the Tarator, which is a cold yogurt with cucumber soup, which is refreshing on a hot day. Mom had the lobster bisque which she said was lovely. Additionally, I ordered the arugula salad (half) as a whole would have been too much. For my entree I had the pork tenderloin that was stuffed with mushrooms, cheese, and pickles, wrapped in bacon. This was sooo good. Mom has the shrimp skewers and they were large though cooked perfectly. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. I'd go again.

What a pleasant surprise! I stopped by Beso Restaurant for lunch, and from the moment I walked in, everything just felt right. The staff greeted us right at the door with genuine smiles -- not the forced kind -- and took great care of us the entire time. The space is beautiful and airy with a mix of cozy booths, soft lighting, and plenty of greenery that gives it such a peaceful feel. The music had a nice upbeat rhythm but still let you talk without shouting. I also noticed how clean everything was -- even the restrooms were spotless (and I always check!). Now the food -- absolutely delicious! I had the Schnitzel, and it came out perfectly golden and crisp, with a slice of lemon and a pat of butter melting right on top. The fries sprinkled with feta cheese were so good I could have eaten a plate of them by themselves. My guest had the Kabob plate, and it was tender, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned. There's something about this place that feels both modern and homey at the same time. It's rare these days to find a restaurant where you feel genuinely taken care of -- but that's exactly what Beso delivers. I'll definitely be back soon, maybe for dinner and a cocktail next time!

Not really typical eastern European restauran, in a good way. Very nice interior, they do celebration where you can rent a part of the restaurant and bring your own food and music. Have nice size patio, but it seems like they are not using it. There is a separately room with tv's for for smaller groups i guess. Very spacious and convenient. Food was great, we had salad very specific for Eastern European onion, cucumbers, peppers, tomato and feta cheese which was amazing. Pizza was super cool. Also they have great selection of alcoholic drinks. Our waitress was nice but keep forgetting our orders.

Can I give 10 stars!?!? Every detail, every aspect of the experience, from start to finish was amazing! Service is European style, not rushed in the slightest and the atmosphere is so welcoming I felt like I could be there for hours enjoying the company of friends and family. The menu had so many options it was hard to decide what to order, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend and will be returning again and again! It was also my birthday and they played happy birthday over the speakers and brought me this incredible dessert! What a way to make an already phenomenal experience over the top! Thank you BESO! I can't wait to come back!

Unassuming strip mall location next to a gaming bar and a gas station. Beso has outstanding European flavors perfect for date night, a casual lunch, or weekend brunch. I've visited Beso multiple times. My most recent visit was for NYE lunch. I've left thoroughly impressed every time. The menu is exceptional, offering authentic European dishes done to perfection. We began with the beef tripe soup, which had a delightful garlic and vinegar optional add-in that makes the broth just delectable. We also had the pelmeni with sour cream. Both appetizers set the tone for an excellent meal. For our mains, we chose the lamb chops and filet mignon shish kabob; both were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The sautéed potatoes are an absolute must-order, and the desserts are always a stand-out. The biscuit cake and day and night cake were simply unforgettable. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance. It's elegant enough for a romantic date night yet relaxed enough for a casual lunch. The space features a charming, small bar, a dog-friendly patio, and attentive yet unobtrusive service. The cozy, well-thought-out design adds to the overall experience. Save room for dessert, because the dessert tray always has fantastic selections. We're already planning our next visit to try the mix plate, bison burger, and mititei. This spot is a true gem!

One of my besties took me here last night for a birthday celebration. At 5 pm on a Tuesday night it was nearly empty but by 6 pm it was beginning to buzz. I see they have entertainment occasionally and is a great venue to have parties. We brought a bottle of wine and they were kind enough to decant it for us. We started off with a vitamin salad that we shared. It was really interesting, but not exactly what I was expecting. To me it needed a bit more flavor. We shared an order of feta fries. Can I say these are perhaps the best fries I've ever had !!! Order them to share for sure !! We also chose an order of Adana kebab and and an order of Chilean sea bass. What a great assortment of flavors. Highly recommend both. The Adana kebab had such nice flavors with a little kick. The sea bass was exceptional. Firm but soft at the same time. Lots of food !! Enough to take some home. We ended with a rustic French cake ... very good and not too sweet. Such a great little restaurant. Highly recommend and I'll be back for sure.

I met up with six others for dinner here. You walk into a small waiting area outfitted with a garden wall and a welcoming archway. The exposed ceiling depicts a warehouse vibe, but the use of plants throughout the restaurant balances this, giving it life. It's a spacious layout, with mood lighting. Martin was one of our servers and he did great with managing our table. Bread was served. I ordered a grapefruit juice, as I discovered they're made fresh in-house. As a first-timer here, he explained the menu a little more in depth. Everyone at our table pretty much ordered different entrees, but I ended up trying out some traditional Bulgarian dishes. For my appetizer, I chose the KASHKAVAL CHEESE PANE, which is served with fries. It's pretty much a fried, soft cheese. Reminded me of a mozzarella stick consistency. For my entree, I was full so I opted to just try one protein. I got the KARNACHE, which is a Bulgarian spiral sausage. Seasoned with herbs. Not gonna lie, it looks kind of odd, but it's good. Dessert was out of the question for me, but Martin showed us a sample tray of offerings. This was helpful since it gives you an idea of what to expect if you do order dessert. BESO offers a little something for everybody -- salad, seafood, sausages. It's a mixture of Mediterranean and Eastern European fare, and even pizza options for the less adventurous.

My clients invited me to lunch after signing their loan documents. From the salads to soups to meats, WOW! Highly recommend. This was just the first wave of food.

From the moment we walked in, I knew this place was a winner. The staff greeted us like we were old friends, not first-timers -- genuinely warm, quick, and professional. You can tell they actually like what they do. The ambience? Absolutely spot on. Classy but relaxed. The music was upbeat and lively without drowning out conversation -- the kind of background groove that keeps your foot tapping while you sip your drink. Everything was spotless too -- even the bathrooms looked like they'd just been detailed by a Formula 1 pit crew. Now, let's talk food. I had the kabob plate, and my partner went with the schnitzel -- both cooked to perfection. The kabob was juicy, full of flavor, and came with rice that had that subtle buttery kick I could eat by itself. The schnitzel? Crispy on the outside, tender inside, topped with a pat of butter that melted into pure goodness. The fries sprinkled with feta cheese were an unexpected knockout. Whoever came up with that combo deserves a raise. This place hits every mark -- service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and food that actually makes you stop mid-bite just to say, "Damn, this is good." If you're looking for a spot that feels a little upscale but still has heart and warmth, Beso delivers. I'll definitely be back -- probably sooner than I should.

The six-course meal was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and delicious. I especially loved that parts of the dining experience were interactive, it made the evening feel even more special and immersive. The ambiance was perfection. The warm red glow, gorgeous decor, and thoughtfully dim lighting created an elegant, intimate atmosphere without making it difficult to see. Every detail made it feel like I had been transported somewhere truly special. The live entertainment was the perfect finishing touch. The belly dancers were incredibly talented and added so much energy and authenticity to the evening. Combined with the music, it created an experience that was about so much more than just dinner. One of my favorite moments happened as soon as I was seated, when my hands were ceremonially washed. It was such a unique and welcoming touch that set the tone for the rest of the night. Our server was outstanding. Once he learned it was my first time visiting, he made sure I felt welcomed and took great care of us throughout the entire evening. The service was attentive without ever feeling intrusive. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, everything was flawless. Marrakech isn't just a restaurant, it's an experience. From the moment we walked in and were greeted, with a Happy Birthday, to being seated in a secluded corner next to a little water feature that added extra ambiance! Our server immediately came over and greeted us with a bowl and warm flowery water to rinse our hands. He explained how the courses worked, and asked if we'd like cocktails- we had the white wine seasonal sangria and it was delicious! Fresh and fruity! The dancers came out before our first course and the music was really loud- like thumping my seat loud... probably the only thing I would have like done differently. The first course came out and it was shrimp scampi with homemade bread - the shrimp was enough to serve at least 3 people- and it was tasty with lots of flavor! The next course was a lentil soup , served in a bowl with no utensils, and we were told to drink out of the bowl. This was also very flavorful! It was filling so I only took a couple sips of mine to leave room for the food to come! The next course they brought out was a tower of Hummus Baba Ghannouj Moroccan style olives, cucumbers & carrots, along with crispy pita Next was the Beef Kabob served on a skewer stabbed in a pineapple with dry ice for a spectacular presentation. The meat was so tender you could cut it with the fork! It was so much food it could have fed our family of 4, but it was just me and my husband! The last savory food item was the Moroccan Couscous & Chicken Platter- this chicken was so tender it fell off the bone when I picked it up with my fork- it was deliciously flavorful with middle eastern spices!! And the couscous were cooked perfectly! Lastly, they brought out a desert along with tambourines and drums and bright lights and sang a happy birthday song to me! The cake was not my favorite- but it was cute with a design on top It was a Moroccan pastry stuffed with bananas, nuts & chocolate topped with powdered sugar & cinnamon. They served it along with a sweet hot delicious mint tea! The dancers came out about every 20-30 minutes and they were beautiful and interactive with the crowd, asking diners if they'd like to get up and belly dance with them.... It was very fun to watch! We had a wonderful time, we would definitely go back! Next time on an empty stomach, and with the ability to take our leftovers home!! Highly recommend!!!

I've had Greek food that was more flavorful. Greek food tends to be a bit pricier than others so I have a higher standard. I can brag on a few things. The restaurant was very clean and cute. I loved that they had TVs and we could watch the World Cup game that was on. You order your food up front, pay, grab your drink, and then sit down with your number. They bring the food out to your table. I love the CocaCola freestyle machines. Unfortunately this one didn't have any diet or zero options other than Aha sparkling water. That was a bit disappointing. They do have canned Diet Coke along with some interesting Greek drinks in a refrigerator. I ordered the gyro plate and my son got the falafel gyro. We both got the feta fries. These are really delicious. There was so much feta and herbs on the crispy, coated fries. My portion was great on my gyro plate. The salad was pretty but the Greek dressing was very mild and lacking in flavor for me. The same with my gyro meat. It was just okay. When you mix beef and lamb, it creates this delicious flavor and I just didn't get that here. The tzatziki was very bland to me. It was almost just straight yogurt. My son's falafel pita was very good. It was soft in the inside with the slight crisp on the outside. It was a large size pita and filled up my teenage boy. The desserts sounded delicious and the baklava in the case next to the registers were phenomenal looking. We didn't make it that far to get to have dessert. Since my son loved it so much, we will be back. I will try a different plate next time and hopefully be able to get dessert also.

This review is for Las Vegas Restaurant Week…read more This restaurant week set meal was truly amazing. It's been a long time since I've been wowed by a restaurant. I highly recommend everyone try their lunch. The price is incredibly reasonable, and the food quality is top-notch! For an appetizer, a whole fish entree, and a dessert, the Restaurant Week special is only 40 bucks! Even if you can't make it out to taste the food during Restaurant Week, their usual lunch prix fixe (with the same dishes) is only 45 bucks. Compared to the Mayfair Supper Club I just went to, this place handles their fish remarkably well. It perfectly retained the tenderness and juiciness of the fish, and the skin and edges had a bit of charred, fire-roasted aroma. It left me thinking with great satisfaction: this is exactly how fish should be prepared--simple! The octopus appetizer was also incredibly tender with absolutely no fishy taste. The kitchen's grilling technique and heat control are just exceptionally well-handled. I also quite liked their dessert, Greek yogurt and candied orange peel. I think using orange peel has an advantage: even though it's been candied, it still retains the natural bitterness of the peel, so it's not overly sweet. Speaking of olive oil, the olive oil at this place deserves a shout-out too. It has a very strong grassy aroma and a distinct, pleasant bitterness with a sweet aftertaste. We also added an order of their signature appetizer, which is thinly sliced zucchini and eggplant fried and stacked into a tower. It was seriously so crispy and delicious!!! And very eye-catching! This dish is great for sharing, though it did get a little greasy toward the end, since it is fried after all. This single appetizer costs a whopping 41 bucks! It's even more expensive than the Restaurant Week set menu! But it's super eye-catching and tastes great! Oh well, let them have my money.

Opa, No!…read more Review: So The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill popped up practically in my backyard--right there next to Whole Foods on Sahara and Town Center. How could I not try it? Now, I'll be honest: my favorite Greek spot is Meráki, and when we go there, we're known for ordering--wait for it--a hamburger. Yes, a Greek hamburger! Meráki's is amazing, and turns out, The Great Greek's burger is also a flavor bomb. Whatever Greek seasoning magic they sprinkle on that meat patty gives it a char-grilled punch that hits the spot. We rounded out our takeout with a Greek salad--nothing groundbreaking, but fresh, crisp, and just what you'd expect. The Greek rice? Meh, a bit underwhelming--fine, but won't be stealing the show at any Greek wedding. Now, the spanakopita... oof. Imagine one giant puff pastry with not much spinach or feta flavor--it was a one-and-done situation. Service-wise, it's a fast-casual setup: order at the counter, grab a seat if you like, but it's not aiming for ambiance. Think more quick bite than Mediterranean getaway. Overall, would I return? Probably not when Meráki is just 10 minutes down the road. But if I'm craving that Greek burger and I'm in a pinch, well... I know where to go!
