What a great spot right in Chinatown in the same complex with one of my fave Thai places Lamaii…read more Cozy intimate feeling spot with a small but inventive menu. We decided to go with the tasting menu tonight since we hadn't been before and wanted a good sampling of what they had to offer. It did not disappoint. Not a single dud on that menu. Faves were the Oyster Duo, Octopus, Foie Gras and the Por Flank. Every single dish was flavorful and well seasoned. The service was outstanding and attentive with one tiny hiccup, not big enough to take a star away. I had specifically noted on our reservation that it was our Anniversary and it would have been nice if it was recognized but was not. Wasn't looking for any freebies but would have been a bit more special if mentioned. Not end of the world but a bit disappointing. All in all will be back to try our favorites again on the a la carte menu.

After…read morereviewing the menu, we decided to go somewhere else that had more options to accommodate everyone in our group. He canceled the reservation on Mother's Day and was fully aware of the stated $25 per person cancellation fee ($100 total). Unfortunately, the restaurant charged his card three separate charges totaling $250 ($100, $100, and $50). He contacted the restaurant and was initially told the refund would be processed within 3 days. After following up again 3 days later, he was told the employee who handles refunds was out of the country and that he should not have been told 3 days. He then received an email from Thaddeus confirming the cancellation fee was only $25 per person and stating he could use the $100 as credit toward a future visit if he showed the email at the restaurant. However, the additional $150 in charges was never addressed. My son replied to the email asking about the extra charges and still has not received a response 3 days later. At this point, he is handling the matter through his bank's fraud department. Very disappointing experience, especially with the lack of communication and accountability. I would not recommend this place.

Been coming here over the past year once a cousin of mine found out they have one in Vegas. We…read moreactually had been to the one in Oahu (there's actually 3 of them there) the last time we were there, so we knew we had to go. It's a small-ish, hole-in-the-wall-ish place...not too big, so if you're planning on bringing friends, come early, or you'll be waiting. Nicely decorated, looks like it might be taken straight out of their Hawaii locations. We are usually in town with a large fam (roughly 15-20) of us, so we DEFINITELY come early as we can. Like I said it's not a ton of seating, so one we're seated...good luck, hehe. They have a pretty extensive menu with a lot of good options (and some filipino bfst options as well!) Wifey had the "Da threee bite feast," while I opted for the prime rib loco moco (over garlic fried rice), and the kids had the french toast and pancakes. Food was just as good as I remembered, and portions are pretty large here. Come hungry, or come out with leftovers :) Service Our servers have always been awesome in the what, 3 times now that we've been there. They have always topped my coffee off constantly, are super friendly, and always willing to give their recs. Parking It's a stripmall-ish spot about 5-10 minutes away from the strip, depending on where you're staying. We haven't run into parking issues yet, but we always try to beat the crowd cuz it WILL get pretty long. Pricing On average, their main items are roughly $20-ish...plus if you opt for the more premium items, such as the prime rib loco, hehehe...but def worth it, and like i said, pretty hefty portion, so you're paying for like 1.66 meals :) Definitely a must try if you're in the hood...or on the island for that matter!

I am in love with most anything they do with pork belly. The beer and cocktail menus are among the best options in town. This is a place where they take pride in your cocktails and spend more time curating their beer menu for one week than most do in ten years. The vibe inside is a friendly and welcoming community that cheers on the home teams and is always willing to strike up conversations with strangers about their beer. Matt and his bar staff will make you feel at home and like a regular in no time. Amy and the serving staff are fun to joke with, make sure your glass is never empty and your belly is always full. Overall, you can't go wrong with 595. Their food is great, the drinks are outstanding and the stuff hits a bases loaded home run every time.

Hidden Gem for a REAL bar & kitchen combo!…read more I came around 7pm for a solo adventure dinner & was well pleased! Off the bat, the ambiance is decorated and fun! The bar was 90% full and while I was struggling to see if there was a single seat welcoming for me to sit, the bartender unfortunately didn't welcome me or help me in my decision on where to sit. I did find a cute seat in the main seating area and was welcomed graciously by Lexi! Since I was new to the area and the location I asked what she preferred between 2 food items & 2 drinks & her recommendations were definitely not regrettable!! Fun Fact, the kitchen is more Vietnamese based, so their specials are super delicious, vibrant and new day to day! Things you wouldn't think to be good at a bar, are in fact GOOD. As I ate, the place got busier, but what i loved was that Lexi was just as attentive with me as when I arrived. Prices aren't bad either, no regrets here!!
