My first time here, and walking in, the aroma just greets your nose and taste buds! I was super excited to try another local coffee shop. Plenty of parking and when you walk in they have plenty of seating as well. Love their set up and gave cozy vibes. They had so many drink and food options, as well as offered some tastings of their brewed coffee. They have a ton of items up for sale as well, including their coffee beans to take home and syrups. I ordered a sesame seed bagel with cream cheese to keep it simple. My sister grabbed some apple fritters, which were really yummy! I was torn with which drink to pick, but Craig, who was amazing suggested I go with the dirty pumpkin Chai. I was hesitant, but decided to go for it. It was a great decision! It tasted so good and nothing like these big company coffee shop PSLs, which I dislike. My family members got iced options and enjoyed them, in addition to sandwiches, which they said were filling and delicious. Craig was such an amazing and helpful person. He made my experience there memorable and definitely makes me want to go back soon. So if you're in the area, be sure to check them out.

I love to stop by here for a make your own breakfast sandwich and a latte. The staff is always super friendly and never rush you when ordering. The food usually comes out pretty fast although when it is very busy, there might be a bit of a wait. I love to get my breakfast sandwich on an asiago bagel and you can't go wrong with any of their coffee drinks.

We visited this shop the last time we drove through town and decided this would be our stop - a good choice. Pleasant ambiance, lots of drink options, coffee and tea options, and extremely pleasant and helpful staff members. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Great local spot for bagels and coffee in the morning, lots of options and pretty spacious inside. Usually get the bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel, or a cinnamon raisin bagel with Nutella, highly recommend trying both.

Matcha

For a place that has tea in the title their matcha is astonishingly bad. The worker said it was slightly sweetened but it was disgusting, basically really sweet milk, no matcha flavor at all. Couldn't finish it. You can see in the picture it's basically just white, i actually thought they gave me the wrong drink at first. (How hard is it to use actual matcha? If you're just going to have this offensively bad concoction just take matcha off the menu imo) Hopefully i can save someone else from having to experience this and wasting their money I can't drink coffee so I can't judge that but their sandwiches were really good. Chicken and artichoke panini was nice and crispy.

Capers aren't my thing so at the risk of horrifying the purists, I got my lox and smear sans capers. And it was outstanding for me. Great looking loaves of bread, cookies, muffins on offer as well but I kept it simple. Nice vibe with a number of tables and a wall-long counter with ample plugs so you can write Yelp reviews, watch the bagels get made, and do a little grading on a Sunday morning. Easy off the highway if you are like me going from DC to points west via 270 and in need of a breakfast that isn't handed out of the same fast food window that you've done countless times. Make your morning something distinct and memorable and drop by Twin Bears Bakery. You won't be sorry.

Everywhere else unfortunately tastes like repacked Thomas bagels. I've yet to try the other items at Twin Bears, but honestly the bagels are so good I will return again and again. The space itself is also very charming and cozy! It's a great spot to catch up with old friends over coffee or to strike a conversation up with a neighbor. 10/10 recommend! I'd rate higher stars if I could. Thank you Twin Bears for bringing amazing products to Frederick and beyond!

We chose to sit outside, and the staff brought our food directly to our table as soon as it was ready and the food arrived in a timely manner. They offer a wide variety of bagels. we ordered the smoked lox bagel on a jalapeño bagel and the chicken salad on a sun dried tomato bagel. The chicken salad sandwich was a bit dry. Looking back, I regret not paying the extra 50 cents for lettuce. I also didn't get much sun dried tomato flavor from the bagel itself. The smoked lox bagel was good, but not the best I've had. The sandwich felt a little sloppy and unevenly assembled, with some bites getting much more of certain ingredients than others. The drinks were probably the biggest disappointment. I originally wanted an iced tea, but they only offered regular unsweetened iced tea. As someone who typically enjoys green tea or jasmine tea, I found the cold tea selection pretty limited unless you're ordering hot tea. The iced coffee also had a strange aftertaste that reminded me of charcoal. In addition, the iced drinks were served in hot coffee cups, which felt a little odd. There was also no simple syrup or agave available.

I was shocked by the wide variety of pastries, pies, bagels, cookies and much more available in the small bakery. As soon as you enter the doors, the warm smell of fresh-baked goodies fill your senses. The menu changes weekly, so there's always something new to try. The staff work quickly and are very friendly and helpful. They took the time to explain the items to customers and struck up conversations with the regulars. The treats are on the pricey side, but they're 100% worth every penny. I selected a morning bun and a raspberry jam sugar cookie and LOVED each item. As I ate the cookie, I kept repeating "this is soooo good!" Once they sell out of each item, they're done for the day, so be sure to visit early. If you're in the Middletown area, I highly recommend visiting Deb's Artisan Bakehouse. You will *not* be disappointed.

We got there at 9:10am on a Friday and we were second in line. They have something different every week and different items not list each day. It's a small building, there is no seating.
