I've always heard about Baltimore Coffee & Tea bur never visited, primarily because there wasn't any that was close to me lol. Now I can say I'm a fan. It's like any other coffee shop with a nice peaceful vibe and a place where you can come with friends or by yourself. I've had their coffee, ice lattes (which is amazing by the way), and sandwiches. The coffee is delicious, I love that they have a variety that you can purchase to take home and that they feature a different flavor frequently. The food isn't bad either. I've had a couple of breakfast sandwiches there and they were good, but their club sandwich is de-friggin-licous!! I look forward to making my way down the menu to discover what else they have to offer. read more

This is a really nice and clean coffee and tea shop. They have just about any flavor you can think of. Many military officers come here for coffee, tea and sandwiches. The employees assist you with the coffee and tea flavors and etc if you need help. I came here NOT for coffee, but for a cookie and I ordered a ice coffee for my mom. My son got a glazed donut. They have sandwiches and even breakfast. I love macadamia nut cookies and it was big and fresh. I shared it with my mom and son. Next time I'm on this side of town, I may order a deep creek tuna melt sandwich or a Harbor ham and Swiss cheese. Someone ordered a chicken salad, but I don't eat chicken. I sadly need to update my review: The establishment has gone way done in recent months. I'm sure much of it is tied to COVID challenges but there doesn't seem to be a manager ever at the store when we go: More often than not something has been wrong with our order. We live less than 100 feet from here and are daily coffee drinkers so we're in a few times a week to buy food and drinks or pounds of coffee: My wife has a heart condition and should not have caffeine so everything she gets is decaf. Twice in a month now we've bought a pound of decaf coffee and twice they have not given us the decaf. This is annoying because we were verbally told it's decaf but when we got home the label does NOT say it. So out of an abundance of caution I will try it (I can have caffeine) and it's been caffeinated. So not a huge deal but a double irritation. Also we aren't home during the week during any of their store hours since their reduced hours so this issue could get morning routine for the entire work week (she cannot make coffee at home). A week ago I ordered a large ice vanilla latte. It's one of their signature menu drinks so it's not customized. The person at the register read back the order and it was correct. But when my drink was made it was made hot. The politely remade it for me but this time they accidentally gave me an iced medium (I paid for a large). I was going to mention it but they had a large group come in and I didn't feel like making a big thing (just irritating to have a menu item made wrong twice in a row). I recently also ordered a lunch sandwich and asked for bacon on it (it costs extra). I got my sandwich and ate it later only to find that it didn't have bacon. I checked the receipt and sure enough I had paid for it. Also my wife always gets a latte with just 'one pump of a *flavor*'. So for example it's 'not a vanilla latte' it's 'a latte with one pump of vanilla'. They will ring the drink correctly up in the register but it seems their computer system doesn't clearly explain to the worker that it's 'one pump versus 'full flavored' latte and she find the drink is way too sweet. Again none of these are huge issues but it's frustrating when... more often than not... there's a mistake in the order and and I'm finding that I either need to 'manually check everything before leaving the counter' or that I'm much more inclined to drive 10+ minutes to another coffee place that I like that consistently gets the order correctly. It is such a shame because we love this place and it's super convenient but unfollow through and consistency is way low. read more

If you want a good sandwich and ya wanna spend a lot of money than go here .... Food is excellent but, they will nickel and dime you. I went in and ordered the build your own sandwich and I realized that they charge .50 cents for every add on veggie so I went on and paid it but was a bit disappointed because I wanted two sandwiches and of course a tea !! Ugh and left paying 25.00 for a tea and two sandwiches!! I feel like I will only patron this place when I just got money to throw around. Now I may be a cheap person but after a couple visits ya may wanna go to another place!!! Just to save a little especially on the veggies when they typically come on the sandwich. Amazing selection of coffee and tea, as should be any company as such. The hard part is choosing what sounds best based upon the descriptions because the smells are all mouth-watering. I'm moving soon, but out of coffee. As horrible as that is, I'm happy they offer small bags because that means I can get two and drink just as much. 1#, 1/2#, or 1/4# are great offerings, and quick! I will definitely be back even though my order had a few mistakes. I ordered a bagel with cheese egg and turkey meat. It came out missing the cheese, which I am sure would have given it some flavor, I still ate it. Then. My iced americano was missing the almond Milk I requested. When I pointed it out they fixed it right away. Other wise I was really impressed with the set up and service. And they don't require masks which if I'm being honest I'm over at this point, especially since I'm vaccinated. The lady behind the counter was super nice! Wonderful local coffee place amidst the nearby Starbucks and Dunkin. They also have a large variety of local teas and coffee which makes for a great gift. Their flavored lattes are delicious and not overly sweet! read more

It's a nice coffee shop with average prices. The staff is mostly friendly, and service is usually prompt. I have to say though, their mocha is not my favorite. I can't really say there's anything wrong with it, it just lacks oomph or something. My daughter needed to eat and got a sandwich that was really tasty (I had two bites!) It had bacon, brie, lettuce and tomato, and Dijon mustard. Very yummy combination. It did seem to take quite a while for our order to be ready. I really like to do business with locals, so I'm happy to support them. They sell all kinds of coffee beans from everywhere, and teas as well. It's more versatile than your typical coffee and tea joints that I have access to... so for that... automatic 4 stars. Lots of different types of beans a teas to choose from! I bought some fresh beans and took them home and have really been enjoying them. They were priced slightly above average. I also love how they switch up the flavors of coffee, and that they also didn't charge me extra for oat milk instead of cream... which is such a scam! The only thing that was lacking for me was the food. I got a gluten free bagel which veggie cream cheese.. I reeeeally did not like it. My friend who is also gluten free did not like it. It wasn't the bagel that her was exactly the issue, the bagel was ehhh... it was more so the cream cheese. It tasted more like a crab dip. We also got a sandwich on a gluten free baguette. I really appreciate the gluten free baguette as an option! But the sandwich itself was lacking. The service was good. The place does get busy, so be prepared to wait in line. But the employees do a good job managing what they have going on. The ambiance is cute. Nothing special really. Just a nice chill spot. Feels welcoming to everyone. I was going to other coffee cafe that I frequent to, but the roadwork made it harder for me to go there. Since I was already there I was looking for a nearby coffee cafe. This came on Yelp. So we went. This cafe is definitely on my list now! Their spiced chai is really good. I was actually impressed how well it tasted with almond milk. Some places almond milk takes over the taste, but not this chai! Since it was already lunch, I decided to give their panini a try. I opted for artichoke chicken and got my kid English muffins with egg. It's without a hesitation to share that we both really enjoyed our sandwiches. My chicken artichoke panini has a little spicy in it and I could taste artichoke and chicken both. Neither of them overpowered one another. Like I said, this is a cafe I will be returning and I'll be bringing the hubs with us next time. I can say he will be pleased! read more

This is my go to breakfast and caffeine stop on my morning commute. Baltimore Coffee & Tea has a variety of options for coffee, tea, breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, salads and products for sale! I find that the wait is reasonable even at peak hours when there is a small crowd. I generally try a specialty tea drink like a dirty chair latte or match latte and grab a breakfast sandwich. I've never waited more than 8-10 minutes. The non dairy options are limited as hey only have almond and soy milk. I stick to almond milk but I wish coconut was an option. I've also grabbed sweet treats like caramel popcorn or candy bars for a gift when heading to a friends house. Mugs, tea appliances among other small items are available for sale as well. My favorite is getting to Mark off each drink I purchase with the 10th drink being free. read more

I didn't think the name encompassed everything that they know how to do well, but maybe it is my fault for ordering hot chocolate from a place called Baltimore Coffee & Tea. This was the worst cup I've ever had! I had better as a kid drinking Swiss Miss (do they still exist?). I actually think I was served a tear-open package of cocoa mixed with hot water--too much hot water. Hot chocolate isn't hard at all: Milk, cocoa powder, sugar, maybe a little vanilla. I made myself a nice cup just the other day but I thought I'd treat myself to a gourmet cup during a business meeting. Speaking of tear-open packages, I should have considered myself warned when I saw the hot cocoa they sell on the website (and in-store). You can add "up to 7 ounces of milk or water". Excuse me, milk and water are very different!! I don't know what they do to the coffee, but if you're looking for a nice cup of hot chocolate, keep looking. read more

I used to frequent the location in Annapolis on Bestgate Road years ago, but I stopped when the staffing changed. No longer the friendly service and delicious coffee I was used to. Today, I decided to try the location in Odenton (since I now live right across the street), just to grab some whole beans. I went around to the overwhelming selection and attempted to pick one on my own. No one greeted me or offered to help, so I went around to the cashier. There was an awkward exchange where she made me feel like I should have known what I was doing, and then asked, "Do you want help?" I said no, figuring she really didn't want to, and was tempted to walk out, but I walked around again, looked, grabbed the flavor I'd originally decided on, and walked out. Such an unfortunate experience because this is an ideal location for me and what I'm looking for in a selection of coffees. But they won't be getting my business ever again. read more

This place is fantastic. Good speedy service with a smile, great menu selection especially breakfast items, and an amazing variety of tea and coffee flavors and beans. It's a large store with a dozen tables and seats. It's located right across the street from the Odenton Penn Lune Marc station, right next to Ruth's Chris. If you just missed the train like i often do, it's worth a stop to grab some breakfast. I'm definitely a big fan. read more

Came here since my school is near by for lunch. The menu was pretty big for a small coffee shop and the parking is very close and easy to find. I got the turkey and Brie panini. It doesn't come with anything which is fine for me but the people I was with would have liked a small side. It took a little while for them to make. It has very large mustard seeds in it if that's your thing. Definitely not mine yuck! The coffee I got (snickers latte) was nothing that special. Overall nothing to rave about read more

Adding to my first review: The customer service here is outstanding. Everyone is sweet, cheerful, and happy to take your order or make your drink/food. I really enjoy coming here for this reason. The Fort McHenry is a strong 5/5. The lettuce, tomato, and onion are FRESH. It tastes like they picked these ingredients from a garden out back same-day. I've had it on whole wheat and spinach wrap and I highly recommend doing the spinach wrap. It makes it a lighter meal and you can really taste the turkey, bacon, and veggies. _________ Good coffee, espressos, and lattes. Bagels are great! Not a place to come to read a book. Music being played is slightly too loud - which wouldn't be an issue, usually I can read with music being played. But this music is too much to have played in the background. Also, only hard-wood chairs to sit in inside and metal outside. Would be nice to have a sofa or couch inside. Menu is not colorblind accessible. Stuff is extremely friendly. Sandwiches here is nice, but additions goes for additional charge and overall sandwiches has a good price, but after adding vegetables it become pricy. Huge choice of tea and coffee. One coffee was not the best (Baltimore blend), but decent, second one (Kenya) was lit, really depends on taste, definitely not bad. Came for food. Took a long time studying the menu because everything sounded great, while staff watched us. Started telling our order (again, all food) to the cashier, and she said "we actually arent taking any lunch orders because something in the back is broken". So she basically watched (with another girl) us talk about what sounded good (while nobody else was in line), and then waited until midway through our order to tell us that no food was available. We're at three brothers now, and they have plenty of food. Heads up - signs would be nice so we dont waste our time.
